Stayed at The Fox Hostel from Nov 23–24, 2025. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the staff was very kind and helpful. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights, and the room was spacious enough for two people. I would definitely love to stay here again.. 2025.11.23 비크에서 요쿨살론 & 다이아몬드비치 가는중에 the fox hoste 에서 하루를 묵었고, 시설이 깨끗하게 운영되고 있고, 주변에 빛이 많이 없어 오로라를 보기에 좋음. 데스크에서 안내하시는 분도 매우 친절함.

Overall stay was ok, the service was not bad as we had issues with the aircon and the staff tried to help but at the end could not solve it. He gave us another room but the issue persists. It was really hot the whole night but the room and toilet was clean. The room is not that big but just good for one night stay, super near Gare du Nord.

小屋坐落在一片田野上，導航就差100米，我們到的時候已經接近凌晨，比較難找到入口。停車場就在10多米外的地方，連接的全部都是碎石路。第一次訂這種公共衞浴的酒店，公共衞浴感覺還是很乾凈的。鑰匙就放在公用設施的桌子上，在那裡先洗刷完了，再根據那裡放着的地圖找到了我們的10號小屋，總共就12個小屋，小屋裡有簾子但是不夠圍一圈的，房頂透明，方便看星空和極光，房間裏有足夠的暖氣還有電扇，床頭放着眼罩和耳塞，而我根本不需要用，早上醒來的時候陽光燦爛，我並沒有被陽光照醒，推薦在有極光的季節來住一晚！

We appreciated the one-mattress queen-size bed, something we found to be a rarity in our Iceland trip (the norm seemed to be two twin-beds slammed together, which just isn't the same thing. The staff was helpful and the facilities clean and well-maintained. The only negative was the fact that the hotel charged a separate fee to use the hot tub.

Love this hotel very much. Except the breathtaking view is true to the pictures online, also the attentive service from the reception and housekeeping. Dinner at the hotel is suggested reserving first(they sent email to remind me to do so) and the food and the waitress is nice. They also have a snack bar and swimsuits for purchase. The room design and color tone is really relaxing and functional. The hot tubs outside is so good not only for photos but also for soothing and relaxing the body. Recommend for staying 1-2 nights here during the whole trip.

A lovely friendly, comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Hvergerdi. Rooms are a good size and comfortable. We don’t get to try the hot tub as we ran out of time. Breakfast is good and the staff friendly. Location is ok..within 40 mins you can be in Reykjavik or in the golden circle route. Vik is about 1.5-2 hours away. Very close to the lava tunnel experience too. There is a Petrol station and some places to eat, shops in the nearby town about 5 mins away

Great place as a rest stop near kirkjubaer. We used Hotel Laki is a base for 3D2N. Nice view from room, service staff spoke english very well. Breakfast was basic and sufficient, eggs, vegetables, cold cuts and cereal with various sauces. Bread toasting station. Id say the machine coffee (espresso based) was one of the best machine made ones we had in Iceland. Nice view from restaurant and bar as well. My room was missed for cleaning but its fine not much had to be done anyway. Plenty of room and bathroom space. Welcomed by a lovely border collie in the compound. Bar opens late till 11

Absolutely fantastic location near the multiple active geysers. The included breakfast buffet at the Hotel Geysir is incredible with many choices and high quality food. This is a basic room but a good value considering alternatives and location.

C'est un hôtel merveilleux, littéralement au milieu de la route périphérique du sud-est, entre Vik et Glacier Lagoon. L'hôtel est confortable et propre. Le personnel était fantastique et serviable. Ne manquez pas le restaurant sur place : il est étonnamment gastronomique pour un endroit aussi rural. Une magnifique cascade se trouve juste sur la propriété ; franchissez le portail à droite pour une courte promenade et admirez-la dans son intégralité.

L'hôtel dispose d'un café gratuit et d'une eau chaude avant 11 h. Le service de la réception est très bon. La chambre est petite, mais très propre et propre. Le paysage en dehors de la fenêtre est très bon. La boucle d'électricité de la chambre est un peu faible
