J'ai dit que si jamais je venais à Hiroshima, je demanderais certainement à venir ici dans un étage élevé avec vue sur le château d'Hiroshima, et ils ont en fait écouté tout ce que je demandais. La vue est incroyable. Le lit est très moelleux et il y a une machine à café et un fer à repasser. Il ne manque rien. L'emplacement est également très bon. Ce niveau de qualité à ce prix est vraiment une aubaine. J'ai pris une vidéo de l'intérieur du logement, mais c'est dommage qu'elle n'ait pas été mise en ligne.

Nous sommes une famille de quatre enfants japonais et deux adultes (moitié japonais, moitié américain). Nous sommes heureux de payer une prime si l'expérience est digne de cela, mais malheureusement, ce ryokan n'a pas répondu aux attentes. La salle de bains publique a besoin de rénovation, la nourriture était très ordinaire, et il y avait des boîtes de stockage placées autour du restaurant pendant le dîner, qui se sont éloignés de l'atmosphère. Le personnel est sympa.

Il est tout près de la gare et sert le petit-déjeuner au Komeda's sur place. Si vous cherchez une formule plus raffinée, je vous recommande de payer 3 500 yens pour un petit-déjeuner au Granvia juste à côté. Il y a aussi un petit bain semi-ouvert, idéal pour se détendre en voyage.

I think it is unfair that this hotel has a low score on Trip.com. The reason I say this is because people were either looking for a “cheap hotel” in Hiroshima and were surprised by how far it is from Hiroshima Station and the city center, or they assumed the hotel was located on Miyajima Island. Since there are only five reviews on Trip.com as I am writing this, I want to make clear who this hotel is suitable for and who it is not. This hotel is perfect for people who want to stay as close as possible to the Miyajima ferry and spend just one night before heading to the island the next morning. You can reach the ferry either by walking (around 30 minutes) or by taking the local tram (around a 10–15 minute ride). This hotel is not a good fit if you want to stay in Hiroshima and explore the city. It is not close to Hiroshima Station, the city center, or any sightseeing spots. The area around the hotel also offers nothing, there were no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so take that into account. However, if your plan is to stay one night and go to Miyajima Island as early as possible the next morning, and you are traveling with limited luggage (do not bring large suitcases or any heavy luggage), then this hotel is a good choice. We had our main luggage sent to our hotel next to Hiroshima Station and only carried a small 5 kg carry-on with clothes for the next day. The walk from the nearest metro station to the hotel was about 10–15 minutes, and it was not as difficult as some reviews made it sound. Just use Google Maps and you will be fine. About the hotel itself, because of what we read, we expected nothing, but we were pleasantly surprised. The check-in process, done by machine, was instant and smooth with no issues at all. Sometimes I really wonder what people are doing when I read their experiences. The room itself was more than fine. You have all the amenities you need, the room was spacious enough for two people with luggage, the bed was big enough for us, the hotel was clean, and overall it felt like a good hotel. I was even surprised that the hotel had a laundry room.

Bien que l'accès aux transports en commun ait été un peu compliqué, la proximité du centre d'Hiroshima à quelques pas a rendu l'emplacement acceptable. Les équipements étaient plus que suffisants, et la propreté, l'hygiène et les installations étaient toutes excellentes. Il serait formidable d'avoir un service de navette régulière ou de prise en charge entre la gare d'Hiroshima et l'hôtel à l'avenir.

Initially i wanted to book a hotel somewhere in the downtown. But the breakfast and the dinner here caught my eyes. Also the view of the inland islands. I stayed 2 nights here, I came from Fukuoka where my plane landed. The taxi fare from hiroshima station to the hotel is about 3000-3500 yen. There is free hotel shuttle bus but i did not take it. Also, there is public bus stopping right outside the hotel (which i found out later). Though the hotel is old, it is well kept and clean. The staff were very eager to assist the guests and there is always a smile on the face. I was given the 17th floor facing east. But the morning sun was too bright. Though it didnt matter much to me. Another reason i booked this hotel is they have speed boat counter for Miyajima island. I booked one way there as I have the JR pass for return and I have plans after. One way ticket from hotel to Miyajima is 2400 yen and return is 4500 yen. There is a convenience store in the hotel. But I believe they closes at 2200. Also, there is hot spring in the hotel. There is a usage charge for it, but i do not recall the price as i did not use. I went up to the bar on the 1st night. The view was great. Most importantly the price are reasonable too. For both days, i ate at the chinese restaurant for breakfast. 1st day was Japanese breakfast set. 2nd day was Japanese buffet style breakfast. They were delicious. The western and Japanese buffet breakfast at the top floor were very crowded. But they had more selections. For my return trip to Beppu, I used the concierge (bell desk) to send my big luggage to Fukuoka. The price was okay. I took the hotel shuttle bus go Hiroshima station. It was a pleasant ride. Do take note it is first come first serve and there’s a queue. I will stay here again, should I come back to Hiroshima. Thank you.

La chambre, rien à dire. Tout était OK. Par contre la surprise fût le petit déjeuner qui est en réalité une box avec quelques produits issus de la cuisine japonaise. Pas très ragoûtant. Pourtant je suis fan de la cuisine japonaise. Boisson thé vert en bouteille plastique.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, viele Essmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe, auch viele Geschäfte befinden sich sehr nahe zum Hotel. Peace Museum und Peace Memorial Park sind in ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Frühstück im Hotel ist mittelmäßig, das betrifft sowohl die Auswahl der Speisen als auch die Räumlichkeiten, wo Frühstück stattfindet, es könnte unter Umständen sehr voll und eng sein. Das Zimmer, was wir hatten war für zwei Personen ziemlich klein aber sauber, WLAN im Hotel ist schwach. Im großen und ganzen ist dieses Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Hiroshima ganz ok.

La location est excellente, avec un accès rapide au Shinkansen au deuxième étage, et le terminal de bus au premier. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très utile et ami lors de l'arrivée, et ils ont même apporté mes bagages après que je l'ai laissé à l'exploration de la ville. La chambre était propre et spacieuse, même avec mon bagage ouvert. Le petit déjeuner était très bien et varié, mais certains plats étaient légèrement froids. J'aimerais rester ici.

L'hébergement était en fait mieux que ce que j'imaginais. Dès mon arrivée, le personnel était très serviable et parlait anglais. Les étages sont séparés par sexe et j'étais au sixième étage, qui était également agréable. Ils proposaient un large choix de produits de première nécessité, comme du linge de lit, des vêtements, des brosses à dents, des rasoirs, des serviettes, etc. Il y avait un salon à chaque étage où l'on pouvait se détendre. C'est très pratique, avec un Family Mart juste à côté et un Nakau de l'autre côté de la rue. Les attractions d'Hiroshima sont toutes accessibles à pied.
