The Capitol Hotel Thimphu is clean and modern with great amenities. I requested a higher floor room away from the elevator but I got one that is on the 2nd floor and near the elevator. The front desk reception staff told me that the hotel is fully booked that's why iooamy request was not considered. It was about $120 discounted price from trip.com

Clean room, good food at reasonable price, friendly staff. Slightly away from the main city and isolated, but communication is not a problem as cabs are freely available. La location était de haut niveau, la tour thimphu est juste derrière cet hôtel, très facile d'accès à la route de la tour, de nombreux endroits à pied. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très humilde et poli.

Il était propre, élégant, confortable avec un excellent service où nous avons dîné. La nourriture était bonne et la valeur pour l'argent et le service était attentive et efficace. La chambre elle-même était bien équipée et confortable. J'étais très heureux de mon séjour. J'espère être de retour pour une visite plus longue à l'avenir.

The view from the room is mesmerizing. Food is very good. The hotel staffs are very well behaved and polite. We booked for breakfast and diner. The manager would everyday ask if we are having any problem with the food or do we need any other kind of foods. A monastery is located very near to hotel and every day early in the morning we would hear the sound of bells. We had a direct view of buddha point from our room.
