I had a good stay with my girlfriend at The Tytherington. The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. It took about 1 hour to receive our food, and we were also told different information about the Kitchen closure time. Likely, we could give our order on time, but someone who was served after us was not able to. It seemed that on the day we visited, the kitchen staff was either short-staffed or had other issues. The staff behind the counter looked inexperienced, with only 1 or 2 who knew what to do, though they had too much to do already and couldn't assist. The view from their garden was great, over their golf pitch.

The picturesque setting truly enhances the overall experience. **Arrival and Service:** Unfortunately, my arrival experience was somewhat disappointing. The service upon check-in felt slow and not particularly welcoming. There was no offer of assistance with my luggage or guidance on where I could take Stanley, which left me feeling a bit lost. I expected a more hospitable reception, especially given the hotel’s reputation. **Room Quality:** On a positive note, the room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a lovely spacious bathroom that included a plush robe and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo and soap. I appreciated the mini bar, which had complimentary water, adding a nice touch to my stay. **Room Service:** One downside was the room service hours, which ended at 10 PM. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of this limitation, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this caliber. It would have been nice to have more flexible dining options during my stay. **Dining:** The hotel itself is stunning, and the grounds are a joy to explore. I had breakfast at the brasserie restaurant, where the attentive staff made a significant difference. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of delicious options that set a positive tone for my day. **Overall Impression:** While my stay had its ups and downs, the beautiful setting and the quality of the accommodations were highlights. I hope that the service experience can be improved for future guests, as that would truly elevate the stay. I would consider returning, especially for the lovely grounds and excellent breakfast, but I would hope for a more welcoming atmosphere next time.

The staff here are all lovely, super helpful and accommodating. Hotel guests can use the spa facilities for free during their stay, something we took full advantage of. It’s a nice hotel to stay in if you’re in the area. Ideally there’d be a little more attention to upkeep- there are cobwebs in some harder to reach spots, we kept being given too few towels, the heater didn’t work, the shower was stiff and hard to turn on, and the batteries in the tv remote needed replacing. All small things that the staff were happy to fix when notified though.

The room is big (designed for a family of four) decorated in nerf theme, kids would love it. All is good but our shower tap is not functioning well, only gives out boiling hot water which we had to use the bath and let the water cool down a bit before we can use a towel to wash. Not the best but image it’s a good place for family with young kids. Walls are thin, we can hear next door running and snoring. Ear plugs ensured a good night sleep :D

Our room is located on the third floor facing the train station - but there isn't any train noises during the night - the traffic sounded more! Very high ceilings and large windows making the room feels large and spacious:D Right out of the station - you don't even have to look for it However, the phone doesn't seem to be working - tried calling reception yet no one pick up, and when calling room service, the call didn't even went through As an old building, ventilation is amazing with AC built, the lift is a bit tiny but understandable because of building restrictions Overall a very nice stay but will prefer the telephone to be working:/

Lovely hotel with nice big clean rooms. A few issues though - you really need a car to get here as it's a bit far out from the city centre. In my room there was a room service menu and a number to dial for room service, but no phone. The food and drink was ok. During my stay there was only 1 person on the bar and service was a little slow. I ordered a soft drink and it was a bit flat, definitely not worth the £4 they charged for it. Because of staff shortages the dining room was filled with tables that needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was also a bit of a disaster. They charge £15 for it but definitely not worth it. There's a self serve hot buffet which was fine, nothing exceptional. There was no coffee available, just tea bags and hot water. Also there were no plates available at the continental station - really missing attention to detail when there were quite a few staff members present.

Il faut avoir plus de choix pour les aliments. Entretien IE change ou réparation de portes ou radiateurs ne doivent pas être transportés pendant que les invités sont relaxants, travaillent ou ont un sommeil tardif. Très très bruyant.

La première chambre a été réorganisée en 311, la couverture de la salle de bains est brisée. Et la prochaine chambre était un chien qui a gardé la barbe. Le personnel de la réception a réorganisé une autre chambre pour nous, leur attitude est vraiment bonne. Mais la salle réaménagée à 223 est dans le fond de la piscine, la circulation aérienne est vraiment mauvaise, vous pouvez senter la forte odeur de la bétail dans la salle. Pour être honnêtes, ils faisaient une exposition de chien, mais ils ne sont pas vraiment bien organisés pour éviter tous les inconvénients causés.
