Really clean and tidy room and we had the best night sleep on the comfiest bed. Plenty of tea and coffee. Really friendly and helpful staff. Location was at the Center of Chester which made everything easier to get too. It was right by the shops and loads of places to eat. Self service breakfast with plenty of choice enjoyed everything and hope to visit again.

The location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around. In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two. This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby. We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed. In terms of things that could do with improvement: Cleanliness The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection. The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus. Service Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way. Facilities The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side. There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered. Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

Hotel is in a great central location but is easy to access with good reasonably priced parking. We only stopped for one night so didn't have time to use all the facilities but the rooms were spotless and comfortable but unfortunately no air con so a bit too warm despite rooms being supplied with a fan. Very good buffet breakfast and very good bar area. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Nous sommes arrivés à Chester plusieurs heures avant l'heure d'enregistrement et souhaitions savoir si nous pouvions laisser nos bagages à la consigne. Cependant, notre chambre était déjà prête et on nous a dit que nous pouvions nous installer immédiatement ! (Excellent début !) Nous avons également bénéficié d'un surclassement à prix réduit (une attention très appréciable). L'extérieur est magnifique, la porte tournante (peut-être mon élément préféré de l'hôtel, haha) et le grand escalier étaient tout simplement splendides ! Le personnel était extrêmement aimable et serviable. Je m'étais coupé le doigt plus tôt dans la journée ; la coupure se rouvrait sans cesse et un membre du personnel a eu la gentillesse de me fournir des lingettes et des pansements supplémentaires, car je n'en avais plus. La chambre était tout simplement splendide ! Nous avions vue sur les jardins à l'arrière, qui étaient magnifiques avec les couleurs d'automne ! Le lit était grand et confortable ! J'aimerais beaucoup savoir où acheter les oreillers ! Je déteste monter les escaliers, mais ceux-ci étaient tellement majestueux que j'avais envie de les emprunter. Nous n'avons pas dîné à l'hôtel, mais nous avons pris un verre au bar en attendant un ami et c'était très agréable. La nourriture avait l'air délicieuse. Le seul problème que j'ai rencontré, c'était un bourdonnement étrange la nuit qui m'a empêché de m'endormir. J'avais pourtant emporté des bouchons d'oreille et j'aurais dû les utiliser, c'est de ma faute ! Je reviendrais sans hésiter lors de notre prochain séjour à Chester !

Great bed. Easy access to M6 and routes south. Great choice at breakfast. One complaint. At check-in I was not advised I had to regiister my car. In the morning the receptionist informed me to write to them if I receive a fine.

Il a fait une réservation de chambre privilégiée. Arrivé et, comme homme à la réception, j'étais sur des pistes, il a changé de chambre du 1er étage au sol, ce qui était réfléchi. Il n'a pas expliqué un problème mais il l'avait déjà fait. La chambre était de 120. La principale raison pour laquelle nous avons réservé était d'utiliser la piscine pour aider à ma récupération de l'ancla cassée. Robes et pantalons dans la chambre et à courte marche à la piscine. Piscine de forme agréable et taille raisonnable. Fairement occupé mais pas trop. Le jardin de la piscine est un établissement de qualité, mais il est très bien situé dans le centre de la piscine. La chambre est ok. La machine de type petit pod Nespresso et la chauffe dans la chambre. La télévision pourrait se connecter à votre téléphone pour des applications comme Netflix etc - ce qui était fiddly. La salle de bains est bien équipée de toilettes et d'extraits tels que les boucles de coton et les brosses dentaires, etc. Malheureusement, il n'y a pas de chemin de fer dans le mur de la baignade, seulement deux petits chemins de fer sur la baignade réelle, qui, bien qu'il n'y ait pas de salle d'accès, nous aurions pensé que c'était la norme à avoir, donc sortir du bain après la douche était difficile. Il y avait malheureusement une odeur terrible que nous n'avons noté qu'en allant au lit comme nous croyons que c'était le tapis. Il était tard pour le mettre en place et lui dire la réception à la vérification. Pas agréable. Nous avons été dans la zone du bar et nous avons eu un plat partagé. Le petit déjeuner était bon, mais ils n'étaient pas bons à stocker les aliments chauds et plusieurs personnes attendaient quelques fois. though the man ‘toped up’ the pastries by bringing out a big plate with just 2 pain au chocolat on 🤷🏼♀️ Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, mais le service était pauvre et le laissait baisser. L'hôtel dispose d'un potentiel, mais ne pensez pas qu'il resterait à nouveau (pas dans la chambre 120, à moins qu'ils ne sortent le tapis).

J'ai réservé cet hôtel en hâté avant de lire l'examen , merci de bien vouloir le faire , après avoir payé l'examen, les commentaires me ont fait vouloir annuler mais je n'ai pas trouvé un avec le même prix ou la même localisation, donc je suis allé mais ma chambre était propre et a une eau chaude courante, Le parc était très confortable , le parc était grand et gratuit Je ne peux pas comprendre pourquoi il y avait tant de mauvaises révisions, c'est l'hôtel le plus cher que j'ai trouvé dans sa zone et il vaut tout le temps , le lit était très confortable , chaussures, thé et sacs de café , Je n'ai pas vérifié le chauffage central parce que je n'avais pas besoin de ça, le temps était joli, je reste au premier étage Je ne suis pas sûr de l'ascenseur, situé dans une zone tranquille, pas de bruit, la zone commémorative grande et bien meubles

Personnel de réception sympathique. Excellent emplacement. Chambre spacieuse et salle de bain moderne, mais pas des plus propres : cheveux sur les coussins de la robe, cheveux dans le bac à douche, beaucoup de poussière dans la chambre. Je m'attendais à mieux.

Décevant petit déjeuner et très peu d'options pour dîner. Pas d'ascenseur pour accéder aux étages supérieurs où sont situées les chambres. Un séjour décevant. Spa et salles de sport étaient bons, mais les serviettes étaient trop petites.
