The staff were friendly and the actual hotel was quite elegant. The grounds were amazing, and there were plenty of lovely places for photos with colourful flowers. We ate dinner in the hotel and the presentation of the food and the quality was excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection. The mushroom risotto wasn't quite as good as it had some crunchy bits of rice in it. It needed about 10 minutes longer on a slow heat, and then it would have been perfect; as it wasn't that hot either. This hotel boasts that it has a spa, swimming pool, and lots of different spa room experiences. Normally, when you use the leisure facilities connected to the hotel that you're staying in, they provide towels free of charge. Not this one. We walked over with our swimwear and room key card to be told that towels were £1 each. We explained that we didn't bring a wallet, money, or a phone to pay with. We asked if they could charge it to our room. They couldn't!! They said that you can use the one in your hotel room or walk back to the hotel reception and they'd give us them. Not helpful at all. Then, we went in to find the two foot spa's didn't work, and when I said it to the leisure centre manager, his reply was ' I know as I reported them last week'. But not a sign on them to say that they weren't working! Overall, the hotel needed a bit of a spruce up; but they made up for it with friendly staff. We paid to play a 9 hole game of golf and the staff in the golf shop was amazing.

After a little confusion with the entry system to the room, it was mainly my fault for misunderstanding the message, but this was dealt with swiftly with a call to the 24 support number. Perhaps listing the entry process and room entry system under 2 clear, separate headings in the communications may have made it clearer. It was also implied that the parking bays were in some way numbered or identifiable with the room number, but this wasn't the case. Apart from those small things, both dealt with quickly the room was clean, a good size and offered plenty of refreshments & breakfast options for us. The shared spaces were clean and appeared welcoming. Bed was comfy and shower great, but curtains or a blind would have been appreciated over the thin net panel window covering which was present. Would definitely come back again, good distance from the castle - about 30 mins walk - good value for price paid

Il est arrivé dans la première chambre pour trouver ce que le sang semblait sur le sol de la chambre. Air conditionné sur notre étage a été cassé et fixé le deuxième jour mais une mauvaise nuit due à toucher 26 degrés dans la chambre et un lit extrêmement dur et inconfortable Le nouveau haut-parleur a été équipé et une feuille et un ventilateur de la maison ont été faits pour un meilleur sommeil de la seconde nuit. La nouvelle chambre a un étage de bouquet dans la salle de bains, en raison de la fracture de la salle de bains et de l'absence d'eau. Les deux chambres ont des baisses qui ont craquée de folie et avec noir dans les cracs Ducher échappé sur le tuyau Certains canaux ne sont pas disponibles sur la télévision à accès libre Cabls d'électricité exposés aux lumières du mur Les tapis de couloir sont fatigués et sales avec beaucoup de marques noires et de points blancs de la garde-fous La fenêtre dans les chambres où petite et la lumière de la chambre est assez faible Le petit déjeuner était très bien continental et frit disponible Avec jogurt fruit beau vue sur le lincon Profite du séjour une fois que la chambre a été sortie et changée Mais j'ai attendu mieux et j'aurais préféré ne pas me plaindre.

Le personnel était bon à l'entrée et était poli, mais quand un autre invité nous a causé des problèmes et je pouvais l'élever beaucoup plus loin, le personnel ne voulait pas vraiment savoir ou semble-t-il s'occuper, Ils ont été très intéressants et très intéressants, mais ils ont été très intéressants et ils ont été très intéressants. Il était bien situé et avait une station de carburant près qui stockait beaucoup de choix alimentaires et une Greggs même ! Clean hotel with cheerful staff and a comfortable large bed. Lovely Dove soap, shampoo and shower gel provided. Hairdryer, tea and coffee supplies, decent size TV with good signal and plenty of electrical sockets each with 2 usb ports. Roomy powerful shower and 2 bath and 2 hand towels (some hotels only provide one hand towel for 2 occupants). Aircon which was nice in the warm weather. Lifts to all floors. Bar in reception area. Lots of choice at breakfast: 4 fruit juices, multiple tea and coffee varieties, croissants, rolls, white and brown breads (toaster too), croissants, pastries, yoghurt, compote, cereals, sausages, bacon, hash browns, tomatoes, beans and scrambled eggs. They are also happy to store luggage before check-in time and after checkout. A couple of minutes walk from the train station. Car park (payable - although you get first 20 mins without charge if for example you're being dropped off). What's not to love!
