Room was not clean. There were cobwebs everywhere, black mould by the windows and curtains as well as in the bathroom, there was thick dust on the walls, the bathtub drain was clogged and the towels provided had stains. I didn't like the fragrance of the hand and body wash provided. Breakfast was very good. The blossom restaurant is spacious with friendly staff. Overall the hotel was is in a good location and has lovely views, however for the price the room was very basic.

We were pleasantly surprised at the value for money at this hotel. We just wanted a non expensive nights sleep whilst visiting family in the area. We were impressed by the size of the room, cleanliness and even got a decent continental breakfast thrown in. No complaints, did exactly what it promised and price was excellent. Les seuls deux hôtels de la ville sont bons, mais le premier étage est le restaurant, beaucoup de gens boivent la nuit et chattent, affectant le sommeil!

Dans la position parfaite, sur la route, à l'extrémité des eaux, à la vue de la chapelle. Belle maison de vacances avec restaurant avec vue sur l'eau. Les chambres d'Eave étaient agréables avec des biscuits délicieux sur le théâtre.

Loved our stay at The Old White Hart. Beautiful historic building in a peaceful village setting. Breakfast was excellent and the garden is perfect for a quiet drink. Would definitely return!

Lovely staff especially Flo , fresh milk on asking for tea in room, delicious breakfast freshly made great scrambled egg . Great location for town exploration.

Lovely hotel clean centre off town no faults . Thank you Oakham Hotel excellent 5☆☆☆☆☆. We will be back to visit again.
