It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

We were surprised how nice the hotel is for the price we paid. I went with an old friend for a mid-week city break in Sheffield. The hotel is pretty close to theb train station and we walked there easily with our wheeled suitcases. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful The bathroom had a bath and a shower; the bedroom itself was a decent size. I don't think the electronic safe was working correctly, or maybe it was used error, not sure about that, lol. There was a fridge in the room which was great and unexpected; the wi-fi was also excellent. The staff were friendly, and we could get more coffee, tea and milk from reception. We didn't go to the gym or spa, we did go swimming and it's a lovely, big, well heated pool. There were also two steam rooms, a sauna, an ice room and a discovery shower (a hot or cold shower with four sprays and red and blue lights). There wasn't a machine to spin the swimwear in, but there were polythene bags for wet swimwear. A lovely touch in the gym reception was a coffee machine, where you could sit down and have a free cappucino or whatever your fancy is. We got the train to Meadowhall which took 5 mins and cost £2.90 return (with our senior rail cards). Some locals said the tram was even easier, but we found the train easy enough and very fast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break in Sheffield.

This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. .

DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City était exactement ce que j'avais besoin pendant mon voyage d'affaires. Dès mon arrivée, le check-in était bienvenu et bienvenu, et ce premier cookie chaud se sentait comme un geste de soins petit mais réel après un long voyage. La location est confortable, proche du centre-ville, mais assez paisible pour se reposer. La chambre était moderne, propre et tranquille. Le lit était confortable, l'éclairage était doux, et tout fonctionnait parfaitement. Le petit déjeuner a été très varié et le restaurant a une atmosphère calme qui a fait le matin se sentir facile. Le plus évident était la cohérence. Merci DoubleTree de Hilton Sheffield City pour créer un espace qui se sent équilibré, pacifique et réellement confortable.

La chambre était confortable et confortable. Ils auraient aimé une chaussure, et le permis de stationnement qu'ils offrent est un papier qui pour ma position négative comme motocycliste m'a dit juste, ne vous inquiétez pas si vous êtes amendes vous le annulerez, ce qui n'est jamais amusant! Ils prennent également des cartes pour les dommages qui ne sont pas en fait une question mais qui n'est pas notifiée lors de la réservation comme presque tous les autres qui font la même chose qui est un peu subversif.

I check the reviews before deciding to stay here. It’s a budget hotel, but parking is easy ( additional cost)  and there’s an EV charger available, which was very convenient. It’s only a 10 mins walk to the cinema and there’s are plenty restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, a little dated, but spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the city centre, but it’s still easily walkable. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection. Overall, great value and we’d happily stay here again.

Quiet and well connected location. Good views from the bedroom overlooking the well tendered fields of the nearby facility. Easy access to nearby major motorways. Adequate free parking (need to self-register at check-in). Tired decor but fairly maintained in most part. Safe provided for your valuables. Old style flat screen TV. Shower over bath provides good experience. Massive comfortable bed supporting good sleep experience every night. Bedroom access card was a huge problem at check-in and in-between my stay - I had to return back to reception three times as the card didn't work at check-in! Ended up insisting that the staff seek help as I was not ready to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. I got back another evening and card had stopped working again but staff at reception this time was quite responsive - after one unsuccessful attempt to reactivate the card he immediately went up with me to use a staff card to allow me access back to my bedroom with plan for resolving the card issue thereafter. I am appreciative of his reassuring approach.

From check in to check.out served by warm, friendly professional staff, a pleasure to stay in this old hotel. Special thanks to Miranda and Carol, the housekeeping ladies for providing us with a spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Plenty of hot water, big clean towels, good size tv and were very generous replenishing our tea and coffee supplies. Enjoyed a good IPA beer on the first evening and loved listening to the live singing, 70's throwback by the excellent female singer. Would stay here again should we need to book a hotel on our next visit to Rotherham.

This hotel is okay! It's well priced too. And that's exactly the point of EasyHotel. :) The location is excellent, there's a tram stop right outside, and there's easy access to anywhere else in the city. That's honestly why I keep booking this place – it's extremely convenient and reasonably comfortable at a remarkably good price. Feels very modern too! Facilities are very basic. You get a bed, a shower, a toilet... and that's about it. Some rooms don't even have window. But if that's all you need, that's literally fine and probably perfect for you. Cleanliness is also fine. Nothing noteworthy here, nothing shocking – I wouldn't go eating off the surfaces, but more than comfortable sleeping here and leaving things on the side.  It'd be nice if you could hang things up in the bathroom, it's hard to work out what to do with your towel afterwards, but that's okay too.
