It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

WE HAD A FRIDGE The toilet sit had some soap smudge on it and initially thought is something else but if foamed when tried to clean it (I always have sanitizer with me as is only human to miss a spot and do a mistake. Didn't kill me cleaning that myself. Housekeeping job ain't easy. Bless you all. Just keep a better eye to avoid Karen type❤️) The receptionists were all friendly and happy to assist me with both check in and check out. We absolutely loved our room and the view was magnificent. The dawn was heavenly seen from our window❤️ What I loved the most was the fact that in the room we had a FRIDGE. Many hotels don't have that anymore and imagine having a room without a fridge with this heatwave going on 🥵 I will attach a photo with our beautiful view🤩 This hotel will be my top choice whenever I'll need a room around the area. Clean room, clean hallway, clean reception area. Please keep an eye for the accessible rooms. Read all description and detail before booking as they have special rooms for people with a health condition and the room will have some things at a low level to the ground. Will be your fault for not choosing the right room not the hotel's as you need to read description always. Don't take it out to the staff for your own mistake😊 Seen a lot complaining about that, as I've seen also about the rooms accessible and didn't understand the term initially, until I went through the details. After reading the details I knew exactly what room I need to book and what would not be convenient for me🙌 Bless you all and hope this review will be of help to some of you at least 😊

Nous sommes surpris de savoir comment l'hôtel est bon pour le prix que nous avons payé. J'ai passé avec un vieil ami pour une pause de ville de midi à Sheffield. L'hôtel est très proche de la gare de Theb et nous y sommes allés facilement avec nos valises à roues. Le personnel de l'hôtel était ami et utile La salle de bain avait une baignoire et une douche, la chambre elle-même était de taille décente. Il y avait un réfrigérateur dans la chambre qui était grand et inattendu, le Wi-Fi était également excellent. Nous n'avons pas allé au gym ou au spa, nous avons fait nager et il s'agit d'une belle piscine, grande et bien chauffée. Il n'y avait pas de machine à tourner la baignoire, mais il y avait des sacs de polythène pour la baignoire humide. Le train de Meadowhall a pris 5 minutes et coûté £2.90 retour (avec nos cartes de chemin de fer senior). Je recommande cet hôtel à quiconque souhaite une pause de ville à Sheffield.

This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. .

DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City was exactly what I needed during my business trip. Comfortable, reliable, and quietly kind. From the moment I arrived, the check-in was smooth and welcoming, and that first warm cookie felt like a small but genuine gesture of care after a long journey. The location is convenient, close to the city centre yet peaceful enough to rest. It made moving between meetings and personal time easy, something I truly appreciated. The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge. Breakfast offered a good variety and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made mornings feel easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive. What stood out the most was the consistency. Every part of the stay felt dependable and well cared for. That sense of steadiness made it easy to relax and focus on the purpose of the trip. J'ai été si heureuse et productive ici depuis 16 nuits. Petite mais décente chambre. Grand personnel de bureau frontal et personnel de nettoyage. Je ne changerais rien. Merci à tous 🤝

I check the reviews before deciding to stay here. It’s a budget hotel, but parking is easy ( additional cost)  and there’s an EV charger available, which was very convenient. It’s only a 10 mins walk to the cinema and there’s are plenty restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

My stay at the Rutland Hotel was really pleasant. The staff were friendly and kind; the lady at the check-in desk was particularly lovely, and I was lucky enough to get the last available parking space! I thought the room was perfect for a solo traveler, providing me with a comfortable base after a day of exploring the city before attending a show the following day. Everywhere was clean and tidy. I made use of the facilities, enjoying a relaxing shower and winding down in my pyjamas with an episode of Midsomer Murders (each room has a tv and wifi). I ordered room service and the curry was tasty. The only downside was that the room was really hot throughout the night. Even with the provided fan running and the window and curtains left open, it remained uncomfortably warm. Aside from that, it was an enjoyable stay. I would stay here again, but hopefully not in a room so hot!! To the staff - thank you for being so lovely :)

Quiet and well connected location. Good views from the bedroom overlooking the well tendered fields of the nearby facility. Easy access to nearby major motorways. Adequate free parking (need to self-register at check-in). Tired decor but fairly maintained in most part. Safe provided for your valuables. Old style flat screen TV. Shower over bath provides good experience. Massive comfortable bed supporting good sleep experience every night. Bedroom access card was a huge problem at check-in and in-between my stay - I had to return back to reception three times as the card didn't work at check-in! Ended up insisting that the staff seek help as I was not ready to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. I got back another evening and card had stopped working again but staff at reception this time was quite responsive - after one unsuccessful attempt to reactivate the card he immediately went up with me to use a staff card to allow me access back to my bedroom with plan for resolving the card issue thereafter. I am appreciative of his reassuring approach.

From check in to check.out served by warm, friendly professional staff, a pleasure to stay in this old hotel. Special thanks to Miranda and Carol, the housekeeping ladies for providing us with a spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Plenty of hot water, big clean towels, good size tv and were very generous replenishing our tea and coffee supplies. Enjoyed a good IPA beer on the first evening and loved listening to the live singing, 70's throwback by the excellent female singer. Would stay here again should we need to book a hotel on our next visit to Rotherham.
