L'hôtel Sahrai est un hôtel privé et beau situé en dehors de la Médina, un bon choix pour les voyageurs qui souhaitent séjourner en dehors de la vieille ville. L'hôtel est situé sur une colline et le toit de la rue offre une vue magnifique sur les anciens quartiers de la médaine et des juifs. C'est une bonne option si vous avez beaucoup de bagages car les voitures ne sont pas autorisées à vous descendre à Riads à l'intérieur de la Medina.

My stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager. We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay. Hager was also incredibly accommodating with breakfast. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of the stay and a perfect way to start the day. At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay. The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring. What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here.

Love this Riad, it is so clean and beautiful inside and the roof top with a nice Panorama view . Before arriving the riad, they sent me an email asking my WhatsApp so they can send me the exact location and so video clips for me to know how to get there since Google map doesn’t work when getting inside the Medina . They said if I really couldn’t find the way, they could pick me up in one of the entrances to the riad. I thought I could find it but I failed so I called them. One of the staff came out immediately and helped me my luggage. The two young staff there are very helpful and friendly. Since I was so late to arrive , so one staff (should be called Abdullah) brought me out again so I can Rmb how to get out and in again next time. The other young staff also brought me where I can find friendly convenient store nearby to get essentials. Love them and so helpful. The breakfast was nice too. The AC inside the Room is good and the water pressure and the heat were good too ! Highly recommend this Riad when u travel to fez next time. Rmb to bring ur amenities since they do not provide any bathing items or toothbrush. Recommend the riad to have a rubbish bin in the room instead of just inside the toilet.

Dans un coin de la petite cabane de la même ligne de la vieille ville, l'hôtel n'a pas d'identité, il n'y a pas de porte, il n'y a pas de gens ordinaires qui se croient impossibles de trouver, ils peuvent attendre sur la place pour les prendre, le personnel qui nous prend pour nous changer de trois endroits différents, Ils ont dit que je n'avais pas réservé chez lui. Je n'ai rien dit. J'ai trouvé une chambre avec une chambre privée, puis je suis arrivé à la chambre publique, et il nous a emmenés dans la chambre, il a couru, il a couru, et il nous a demandé 20 diram. Il n'y a pas de télécommande. La chambre est à l'angle de l'étage. Il est difficile de voir la lumière dans la chambre. Il contient le petit déjeuner, mais les personnes qui font le petit déjeuner ne sont pas en retard à 9 heures du matin.

Service de navette pour et de l’aéroport proposée par l établissement: assez pratique lorsqu’on arrive tard comme nous. Facturé 25€ (250 dirhams)inclus la majoration de 5€ pour service nocturne. Chambre propre et literie confortable Salle de bain très petite, douche sans bac, l eau coule directement sur le sol et l’eau met pas mal de temps à s écouler par le syphon: pas trop pratique si vous êtes pressés et que vous devez prendre votre douche l un après l’autre rapidement . Le support de pommeau de douche cassé, il fallait le tenir à la main Produits d hygiène a ramener, shampooing non fourni ( difficile quand on voyage avec bagage en cabine pour 2-3 jours) Service de petit déjeuner basique, dommage pour certains produits commerciaux ( olives noires et fromage quiri ) Crepe et brioche préparé sur place, elles étaient très bonne Emplacement parfait , juste à côté d un de suq de la vieille médina Pour manger il y a plein de restos sur place mais ils sont relativement chers car on est en zone touristique Ne pas hésiter à aller manger dans la ville nouvelle, on y va avec taxi pour 2€ par trajet (4€ a/r) Attention: l hôtel affirme accepter la carte bancaire mais nous n avons pas pu régler 170dirham(17€) par carte car commission trop importante . Que les montants élevés sont acceptés ( à prendre en compte si vous payez en fin de séjour et que vous avez l’argent compté) Wifi gratuit , terrasse sympa mais dommage ne pas y pouvoir prendre le petit dej Dans l ensemble séjour agréable et rapport qualité prix correcte

Классный риад! Дизайн внутри произведение искусства! Все прилично, чисто, гостиная вызывает восторг, номера тоже оформлены круто, санузел в порядке, никаких приколов и не приятных моментов не было. Менеджер отеля приветлив, поможет вам с вопросами и хорошо говорит по-английски (лучше пишите в вотсап). Хотите пожить в необычном, атмосферном и очень красивом месте, заселяйтесь без раздумий. Советую. Находится посреди медины, и придется немного поплутать в поисках, но это будет со всеми риадами внутри, тут либиринт) Кому-то в медине кажется грязновати, опасно, не понятно куда идти, но тут бояться нечего, и есть указатели на домах. Там же рынок и достопримечательности, почти все обходится пешком кроме смотровой площадки на верху города.

This hotel is better than it looks in many ways. The AC could be bigger, the power outlets could be more(total of 3 if you unplug the TV), an elevator would be nice, the bed could be fancier. But the bottom line is this place offers solid front desk service(though they don't pick up the phone when you call to ask for a taxi to pick you up), who are attentative to guest safety, and are straightforward with the cost (they didn't try to force us to pay extra fees). The whole hotel looks historical and classy and a bit old, but is very well taken care of: it is spotless clean, no bugs and no smells, which was a concern of ours. While a city square nearby had a noisy concert till past 2 am, the hotel itself is alcohol free, keeping the inside quiet and clean. The AC wasn't freezing, but it eventually cooled down the room to very comfortable levels. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and while there was soap and towels, there was no shampoo.

The experience we had at another Riad set very, very high expectations, so read this with that in mind :) I've worked and stayed in luxury hotels around the world, and if you're looking for a stunning hotel, with pleasant service this would be a top choice. However overall we were looking for more of an intimate experience. Staff were very nice; they were young, friendly, kind and caring. Travelling with my mother however, it felt very uncomfortable when I was asked 'how my wife was doing?!', this summed up the disconnection between the hotel and the experience. A beautiful hotel but short of a 4/5 star experience. It is one of the most stunning Riads you will stay at. The restaurant serves great food, and the views are amazing - if you can handle the three floors of steep steps. Overall, you won't be disappointed but it felt like when we stayed there was no manager for those extra touches you expect when paying this much.

Staying at Dar D’or Fez was truly one of the highlights of my time in Fes. This beautiful riad perfectly captures the charm and authenticity of Moroccan hospitality. The design is stunning—traditional architecture with intricate details, colorful tiles, and a peaceful courtyard that feels like a hidden oasis inside the bustling medina. Every corner is thoughtfully decorated, making it both cozy and visually impressive. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with directions, recommendations, or simply a friendly chat. Their hospitality made the stay feel personal and memorable. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and served in a relaxing setting. It was the perfect way to start the day before exploring the vibrant streets of the medina. The location is excellent, close enough to major attractions yet tucked away in a quiet area, allowing for a restful night’s sleep

La couverture WiFi de l'hôtel est particulièrement complète, que ce soit dans la chambre, dans le hall, dans le restaurant ou dans le coin du corridor, les signaux WiFi sont forts et il n'y a pas de cas de défaut. J'ai testé dans tous les endroits de l'hôtel, la vitesse de l'internet est très stable, les vidéos sont très stables, les jeux sont très bons, les fichiers sont très téléchargés. Pour les personnes qui ont besoin d'accéder à l'internet à tout moment, un WiFi stable complet est vraiment important.
