Great location, fantastic staff Verdal Hotell is located in the vicinity of Verdal train station. One minute walk - just cross the road and you are there. Easy access by train from Trondheim Værnes airport. Trains are running every hour. Next door is Verdal Thon shopping center so easy access to shops and grocery stores. The staff was excellent! So serviceminded, friendly and attentive. They followed up our questions and provided great pieces of advice. We really felt welcome and that they really cared for us as guests! The hotel is clean and nice. Please be advised that this is a country side hotel with less fancy amenities. We didn’t book for fanciness, but searching for great value. The bed was comfortable, nice and fresh linen, it was possible to open the windows and get fresh air. I The breakfast has was nice with a solid selection of fresh items. Some of these are very traditional Norwegian dishes. The dining hall was not crowded so we could enjoy our food. I would like to particularly underline that the hotel showed great flexibility in order to provide breakfast a little earlier than regular times because several guests participated in a local event, and had some time constraints related to transport. This adjustment was highly appreciated and provided us as guests to get better time and being able to have breakfast before early departure. I will commend the staff for doing their utmost for the guests. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was good. Employees were super friendly with welcome drinks. Bunk beds are always the same in Scandic for kids. Breakfast is always delicious in Scandic. One thing that was non sense was the parking fee. It costs 450 nok for one night. Had I known this in the beginning, I would have consider airbnb also. I know it is Norway so parking fee is expansive but this parking fee is out of line.

La chambre est propre et spacieuse, avec de bonnes conditions sanitaires, des équipements complets, une belle vue et un emplacement en hauteur. Elle se trouve à quelques minutes à pied de la gare routière et à flanc de colline ; si vous avez beaucoup de bagages, vous devrez donc marcher beaucoup plus. C'est plus pratique en journée, mais trop compliqué la nuit.

Grand hôtel situé au centre-ville dans le quartier boutique/ restaurant . Beaument équipé, chambre fine avec tout sur et sur. Petit-déjeuner élargi et excellent service. Très utile!

C'est un hôtel très proche de la voie ferrée de la mer. La chambre est très confortable à utiliser, mais le chauffage n'est pas très puissant, un peu froid, l'eau chaude de lavage est très bonne, mais le petit déjeuner est très commun, seulement le choix du paquet, nous avons choisi le gig mais pas complètement dégusté, il faut aller acheter du pain dehors, La pomme donnée est trop acide, nous ne pouvons pas le manger. Si vous pouvez faire un petit déjeuner plus de clics, c'est peut-être une grande chance pour nos voyageurs. Bien que la salle de bas soit grande, nous allons tous sortir, presque pas.

We arrived at the hotel when our cruise ship made a stop here. A 10 min walk from the berth. It was a large hotel with a conference hall. Our room was really nice and faced the sea. We did not try the breakfast as we left early for the train station in the morning - which was also within walking distance.

The hotel was nice. It is a rather big hotel mostly catering for local people ( Norwegian and Swedish). The breakfast was great, the pool was also very nice. Drawbacks: no hot water kettle in the rooms. The toilet seat was very low, so difficult for my mum to get up from the seat on her own.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, with prices that are very reasonable for the quality, so I highly recommend it. Not only is the location convenient, but the staff are friendly and courteous, and the rooms were kept very clean.
