This motel is located a very short drive from great restaurants and large grocery stores. The grounds and pool are immaculate, very friendly staff everywhere. Rooms are spotless and our deck was large with a table and 2 chairs. Lower floors have covered patios. Very nice! We would stay here again.

J'ai récemment passé deux nuits au Waitakei Resort et j'ai passé un séjour merveilleux. Le cadre était incroyablement paisible et pittoresque, idéal pour une escapade loin de la ville. La chambre était propre, spacieuse et bien équipée, avec un lit confortable et une vue magnifique. Le personnel était sympathique et attentionné, toujours prêt à répondre à toutes vos demandes. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les sources chaudes naturelles du complexe, un moment fort de mon séjour. La cuisine du restaurant sur place était délicieuse, avec un large choix et des ingrédients frais. En résumé, je recommande vivement le Waitakei Resort à tous ceux qui recherchent une escapade relaxante et ressourçante. J'espère y retourner bientôt !

Enjoyed my one night stay on a Thursday night in October. Room - Superior Queen #110. $92 nzd. Pros -Cheap -Comfy mattress -Great location -Clean -Spacious room and bathroom -Heat pump which was on when i arrived which kept the room at a comfy temp. -Kind front desk woman on arrival. -Old world architecture. Cons -Noisy heat pump (albeit grateful there was one) -No sound insulation so can hear footsteps easily. -Bed was 2 x singles pushed together and had to sleep either side of the gap. Tip - book a superior room type. It's my experience these are better quality. When you book the lead in room category (deluxe) they're cheaper for a reason. I would return but not on a Friday or Saturday as the sound of the street noise and night clubs would be heard easily. Thanks for a nice stay.

I arrived in Taupo on the morning Air NZ flight from AKL, upon arrival at the Chevron Motel, 4 hours before the published check-in time, I had planned to ask to have my luggage stored while I go about other business. The receptionist kindly asked me to wait while she checked to see if my room was ready, and if so, I could have my room right away. Lucky for me it was, I was very pleased with the initiative and flexibility offered. My booking included a living area with dining table, kitchen, sofa, spare single bed, a separate bedroom, and a dedicated parking space. My stay of 5 nights was very comfortable, and I will definitely use this motel again on my next visit. I would like to offer a few suggestions for improvements, first - a split type AC unit was present in the living room, it would be great if there could be a second unit installed in the bedroom. Internet connectivity, available 24/7, while adequate, did have limited bandwidth affecting video streaming from Netflix/YouTube etc. Lastly, it would be great if the TV provided in the living room had a larger screen. In summary, I was very pleased with my stay at the Chevron Motel, the room offered great value for money, and I was completely relaxed and comfortable during my stay.

I had a great stay at this hostel, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The common areas were clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere for meeting other travelers. I ended up making some new friends here, and we realized we were planning to visit many of the same places, so we explored together. That really made my trip even more memorable. The hostel itself was very clean and well-maintained, and I was impressed with the overall experience. The only issue I encountered was with late check-in. My bus arrived much later than expected, so I wasn't able to arrange an after-hours check-in in advance. I understand that the instructions were provided by email, but I did have a moment of panic because I was asked to call the hostel's phone number. Since I was traveling with only an eSIM and didn't have a New Zealand phone number, I wasn't able to make the call. It would be great if there were an alternative way to contact the hostel for late check-ins, such as WhatsApp, email, or an online messaging system. Overall, this hostel went beyond my expectations, and I'd definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Nous avons séjourné en famille de 4 chambres émulsionnablement propres, les lits étaient beaux et très généreux de taille, le lait local dans de belles bouteilles de verre reliant la communauté rurale locale était un grand touche. qui signifie que nous avons tous dormi très bien. Glenys nous a donné beaucoup de conseils sur où prendre les enfants, les piscines chaudes locales ont été frappées et le domaine à côté de la porte avec jardins de jeux et courts de basket pour le plaisir familial gratuit, le géyser explosif a été un grand divertissement, La location est très confortable pour tous les pistes de marche MT Te Aroha, supermarché et boutiques facilement à pied du motel. Le service était second à nul. Rod et Glenys étaient des hôtes incroyables qui ont été au-dessus et au-delà pour s'assurer que nous avons tous eu le meilleur séjour. Nous avons eu des problèmes de voiture, et ils ont ouvert leur garage et leur temps pour nous aider à revenir sur la route pour toujours gratitude. Nous reviendrons bientôt et nous avons parlé à tous nos amis et à la famille de notre nouveau motel préféré.

Vérifiez amiablement le personnel. Mention spéciale Peter qui nous a vérifiés et qui nous a offert une chambre plus grande, voir que nous avons notre fille avec nous. Le lit du canapé a été confortablement fait. Des serviettes blanches et des robes de bain propres. Le dîner servi à Bistro était excellent. La salle de bains de bains est très confortable et très confortable. Hilton est proche d'autres restaurants comme Industrie Kitchen, St Pierres sushi , McD si les clients veulent essayer et tout le monde à pied.

J'ai réservé une cabine avec cuisine, mais rien n'indiquait que la douche et les toilettes étaient partagées. Lorsque j'ai choisi cette option sur Trip.com, le reste de la cabine mentionnait une salle de bain et des toilettes partagées, contrairement à la mienne. Le personnel m'a conseillé de la surclasser dans une autre cabine avec salle de bain privée. J'ai répondu que ce n'était pas un surclassement, mais plutôt inclus. J'ai ajouté : « Pourrais-je parler à la gérante ? » Elle m'a répondu que le résultat serait le même. Si la salle de bain est partagée, cela devrait être indiqué dans la description. À part cela, tout va bien.

The accommodation was modern, immaculately clean, and provided a high level of comfort. The cleaning staff excelled, delivering service that surpassed expectations. Overall, the experience was positive. However, it would have been beneficial to be informed in advance that the check-in office is located offsite, requiring approximately a 4 minute drive from the main premises. This information would have streamlined the arrival process.
