We arrived in Auckland at 4am and I wrote to the property in the off chance they would let us check in a bit earlier. The team at the property let us in as the room was ready giving us some time for much needed shut eye (and a bath)! The property is also very clean and greatly situated. I can’t recommend it enough.

A hostel with very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was ok, in line with the description and photos. They have large available kitchen for guests, and also room for chilling out. 20 minutes drive from parking where you can get bus at the start of Tongariro Alpine crossing hike.

We loved everything about the stay. The owner/manager served us enthusiastically. The food is consistently of a high standard and a very relaxed and pleasant dining experience. The staff go above and beyond cheerfully. Since finding Hidden Lake Hotel, we have not stayed anywhere else when travelling from Auckland to Taupo via Cambridge and intend to spend more time there in future.

有歷史的古老的酒店，雖然設施有些陳舊也沒有手機充電設施但服務非常好，餐食也非常好👍門前就是九洞高爾夫球場，住店客人免費打，走入森林就是酒店的三個温泉池，温度不同！泡完温泉後可以舒舒服服美美的睡一覺！

We had a wonderful, quiet & undisturbed stay at the Anglers Lodge. The place is tranquil and was not crowded, so we really enjoyed the spacious grounds of the Lodge. The communal kitchen and bathroom facilities were super clean. Overall very well maintained. The pool and games room were much fun for the children. We did fishing at the bay right outside the Lodge. There is minimum 15-20min drive out from the Lodge to Coromandel and the Peninsula.

We stayed one night en route to Hobbiton and liked it so much that we stayed another 2 later in our trip. Great location, and Cambridge is a relatively easy base to get to other places from. Beautiful decor throughout, nice finishings and really peaceful. It was very busy during our stay (around Christmas/NY) so a little wait for food/drinks but that’s to be expected. We had positive interactions with all hotel and restaurant staff. My only feedback is that the switches in the rooms have blue lights on them, which, for people that like a black-out room, can disrupt sleep. Hopefully an easy fix!

I was cery pleasantly surprised with the No1Motels in Cambridge. Beautiful clean rooms, nice and spacious. Great having tea /coffee in rooms. Plus a light brekkie on offer ine communal kitchen. Lovely helpful staff. I plan to stay there again !

super affordable. my room was really clean and the facilities like showers and kitchen was clean too. it was off season so not much crowd, plenty of space in the fridge for my food. Room had everything i needed, including a fan. Laundry services were slightly pricey at $6/wash and $6/dry, bring your own detergent, or buy some during store hours at the little shop near checkin. no vending machine for it! really rocky beach right behind the property, had loads of fun just hanging around.
