Skvelý Excellent stay with amazing atmosphere, highly recommended! Room: Very spacious. Firm beds, great pillows, and duvets. Perfect for a good night's sleep. Hotel: Elegant interior design. Delicious and excellent breakfast choices. Location: Right next to the lake with a pedestrian zone. Great evening atmosphere with street singers. Staff: Highly professional, kind, and helpful. Great English speakers, used a translator when needed. Negative: Requested a non-smoking room, but it smelled like smoke despite the ”No Smoking” sign on the table. Overall a fantastic experience, I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had a very pleasant 4 night stay at the Banshan Siji Hotel in Luoyang. The resort is beautiful and secluded, away from all of the hustle and bustle of downtown Luoyang while remaining accessible. The location is very convenient to the high speed rail station, Longmen Grottoes, Guang Lin Temple and Peony Museum. It’s a bit further away to get to White Horse Temple, Lintang Gate and Luoyi Ancient City. However, the hotel offers a very convenient and comfortable private shuttle for train/airport transfer and a daily trips to or from town. Above all, I have to commend the team at this hotel for their excellent service and extremely friendly attitude. Everyone went out of their way to offer assistance for any of our needs and always with a smile. A huge bonus - they offered a complementary same-day laundry service which we used several times during our stay taking care of a major hassle on extended travels. From the reception, front desk, porters, drivers and housekeepers, we received top notch service rivalling hotels we’ve stayed at worldwide. The breakfast also deserves special mention. The selection was not as extensive as buffets at some major hotels but the quality was excellent and we found it to be more than enough to start each day before sightseeing. In addition to a small self serve area, you can order large bowls soup or noodles and they also provide a beautiful tray of delicacies. We very much enjoyed each day’s breakfast. Finally, the room we stayed in, with a private hot spring tub and private patio was spacious, clean, modern and beautiful. We enjoyed use the tub after full days of sightseeing to ease aching muscles and the bed was very comfortable. On our final night, we did experience a problem with a light switch not turn lights but the staff were quick to provide us another room so we could get to sleep. Another great example of their dedication to quality service. Overall, I was very pleased to have discovered this beautiful gem in Luoyang and it made our visit to this wonderful city that much more special and memorable.

The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and well-spoken in English. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was delightful, and the serving hours were convenient, extending until 10 a.m. The only aspect that presented a minor inconvenience was the Wi-Fi connectivity. It kept failing to send me an SMS code for login. But I'm sure the hotel staff would have helped, had I asked. I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Merci à l'ensemble de l'équipe pour faire de notre séjour un accueil inoubliable. Le service, l'hospitalité et l'expérience globale ont dépassé nos attentes. En fait, notre fille 8-year-old a déjà dit qu'elle voulait revenir à Luoyanget rester à Marriott.

J'étais tellement content de mon voyage à Dengfeng, et la moitié était grâce à cet hôtel. Au départ, je n’avais réservé que deux jours, mais j’ai fini par rester une semaine et je ne voulais toujours pas partir. Le gars qui m'a aidé à porter mes bagages à la porte était super gentil, en particulier le gamin nommé Feng Binbin. Il a été à la hauteur de son nom et a été très poli. Il m'a aidé à communiquer avec le chauffeur qui ne parlait que le dialecte et m'a présenté de délicieux plats. et des choses amusantes. Il y avait aussi un beau mec portant des lunettes qui était très prévenant en m'aidant à porter mes bagages jusqu'à la chambre. J'ai également remercié Miss Zheng Lijun à la réception de m'avoir aidé à surclasser ma chambre. Bref, choisissez cet endroit pour vous apprendre que Dengfeng est votre deuxième ville natale. Les Chinois ne mentent pas aux Chinois.

The staff were very friendly and their service was excellent! We wanted to change our room when we arrived and they gave a room tour so we could choose which one we liked. We did not receive our welcome fruit at first, but when we told them about it, they arranged it right away and we were surprised to learn that they included more - a box of biscuits, tea and foot spa! We felt special. There were even handwritten notes on each gift they had prepared for us. It was sweet! Our stay was wonderful and we would definitely come back.

Le service de l'hôtel était excellent. Xiao Yang, à la réception, a été très serviable lors de notre arrivée et nous a tout de suite mis à l'aise. Xiao Ma, le concierge, a pris l'initiative de réserver une navette pour nous conduire à la gare TGV lors de notre départ. Un service impeccable !

Where should I begin. The hotel is fantastic. When you arrive you are greeted by friendly staff and a cup of tea while finishing check-in. The room was amazing overlooking the lake. The room was huge and had a great shower and bath with great views. The stay included breakfast that had a huge variety of food and drinks. With your stay you can use the next door fitness and 50 meters swimming pool and the sauna, hot bath and showers. I would recommend staying at this hotel when staying in Luoyang!

Location is good snd very strategic. There was free activities for the year end holidays which us a bonus to keep your children occupied and take home a momento.

Pretty good hotel, but somewhat outdated. You can tell that this hotel was once a top-level property with many luxurious features, but they are showing their age now. The service staff was very good, and all of our requests were taken care of promptly. However, the cleanliness could be improved. The carpet looked quite dirty, with noticeable stains and spots. We booked a Deluxe Family Room with two full-size beds (1.4 meters wide), but instead were given a children’s duck-themed room. We didn’t bother asking to change room, but the kid’s drawing board still had the previous guest’s unfinished drawings on it, and toys were scattered on the floor. We asked the staff to remove them and they did. The biggest issue, however, was when a cricket jumped out of the shower drain just as my son turned on the water. It totally scared and grossed us out. The next day, the hotel staff put some detergent into the drain, but we never used that shower again. We used the other shower above the bathtub instead. The breakfast was okay, but it could have offered more variety. Overall, the hotel is ok and you can see traces of its former luxury, but it would definitely benefit from some upgrades and better maintenance.
