The staff were very kind and we were impressed by their sincere attitude toward the guests. We booked the Gyegok trekking through Trip.com, but as foreigners, we had trouble communicating with the trekking company. The manager helped us, and we had a wonderful time that will remain a pleasant memory. If we have the chance to come to Changbai Mountain again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We are truly grateful for the warm hearts of all the staff. Also, grilling skewers and enjoying a glass of soju in the hotel parking lot was an unforgettable delight.

What a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families. For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though. I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective. Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building. I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle. But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat. The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient. It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C. There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort. Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol. Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding. We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day. The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around. Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back. We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

Dès mon arrivée à la réception, j'ai pris l'initiative de vous saluer, de vous enregistrer, de m'emmener dans la chambre et de vous offrir des cadeaux attentionnés. J'ai également répondu à toutes les questions sur les voyages et j'ai été sincère et enthousiaste ! Même si les installations de l'hôtel sont un peu vétustes, elles sont dans l'ensemble très bonnes ! Grand service et spacieux, chambres propres! Le seul côté était une unité AC bruyante, nous l'avons désactivé et nous avons courageusement froid au lieu. 😂 Pros: ＞ Transport facile (shuttles fréquentes + 10 taxis RMB). Cons: ＞ Icy, snow-made man (douloureuses chutes!). Double prix pour les vacanceset apparemment, il n'est pas même la saison de pic encore! J'aimerais explorer plus d'installations de resort la prochaine fois.

Just came back from Crowne Plaza Resort Changbaishan and seriously had such a great time!! The place is super nice, food was soooo good, and the service?? DAMN AMAZING. Special shoutout to our 管家小彭 and 月月!!!both of them were so sweet and helpful the whole stay 🥹❤️ Really made everything feel extra comfortable and smooth for us. Can feel their effort and care 100%!! Replies were always super fast (almost instantly) and they really accommodated all our needs 🥹felt so well taken care of the whole time🥹🥹 crowne plaza please give the two of them some well-deserved credits!😍 If you’re planning a trip to Changbaishan, highly recommend this place!!

Really made a good choice staying here instead of Holiday In Express. As the hotel is just beside the ski resort. No need to wait for any buses just walk to ski resort, ski village and even the hot spring. This hotel is very worth it. As you stay comes with complimentary: 1) Mini Bar in room 2) Hot Spring Access 3) Ski lift access ( 2000rmb deposit) 4) Snow activities 5) Breakfast 6) Shuttle from Changbaishan West Railway Station 7) Water Park At night the whole village really feel like in the alps. One night is too less for us to enjoy everything. Had an amazing sleep. Got bathtub. Room is big and with a wide view of the ski area. Very nice 5 stars.

Bien que l'hôtel soit un peu vieux, les installations de soutien sont plutôt bonnes, les chambres sont propres et bien rangées et l'insonorisation est correcte. Il y a des piscines thermales intérieures et extérieures. Il sera très confortable de se baigner la nuit après avoir été fatigué de jouer pendant la journée. L'hôtel est à côté du centre de transfert. Il est très pratique de s'enregistrer le matin, le trajet sera plus court que de rester en ville. Nous sommes restés deux jours au total. Le premier jour, Tianchi était fermé et nous ne sommes pas sortis l'après-midi, il faisait beau et nous sommes sortis pour prendre des photos. Il n'y avait personne à proximité et c'était très confortable. Il n'y a pas de restaurants dans les environs, mais il y a des dépanneurs et des restaurants dans l'hôtel. La cuisine du nord-est du restaurant est recommandée. Le Da Lapi et le Di San Xian que j'ai commandés étaient tous deux bons et. les portions étaient assez grandes pour manger. The hotel is very nice. Absolutely ALL the staff is super friendly and are always willing to help, despite not speaking the language they have made an effort to meet all our needs. The room surprised us a lot, because everything is perfect for the children. We were there with our 3 children (11, 5 and 3 years old) and the truth is that there is entertainment for all ages! There is small football, board games, ping pong table, billiard table, karaoke, there are also chicks and alpacas and a panda show. Breakfast is very well stocked, there is food for all tastes. The pools and hot springs are in very good condition. Thank you very much to all the staff for making us feel welcome the whole time, we will definitely be back very soon.

Their exceptional hospitality was one of the most important reasons we decided to stop changing hotels and remain here for the rest of our Changbai Mountain holiday. Although there are many restaurants within walking distance, we repeatedly chose to dine at the hotel—from breakfast to dinner—not only because of the excellent food quality, generous portions and good value, but especially because of the outstanding service. 夏经理 is a truly experienced five-star hospitality professional. She speaks fluent English, understands guests' needs naturally, pays attention to small details, and always made our family, especially our little one, feel genuinely welcome. Our daughter loved the hotel's children's activities with 亲子教练甜甜姐姐 so much that she often came back to the restaurant for only a few bites before running off again to play with her new friends, Elsa and CiCi. 夏经理 and her team patiently kept and reheated her food again and again without any complaint, always with the same warmth and professionalism. One cold and rainy evening, 夏经理 even personally helped arrange our hotpot dinner in our room. Although it was not a large order, the food and service remained at exactly the same five-star standard. That sincerity meant a great deal to us. After approximately one week, we felt less like restaurant customers and more like friends being warmly welcomed back every day. The hotel's excellent children's programmes, both indoor and outdoor, also made our family stay especially enjoyable and were another major reason we chose to remain here. Facilities are important, but people are what make a hotel truly feel five-star. For our family, 夏经理 and her team absolutely delivered that experience.
