It was a great stay at this ryokan! The hotel is able to arrange a car to fetch you from the JR station. You can call them using a dedicated phone at the station which is used to contact the different ryokans. The car arrived in 10mins or so. The ride to the ryokan was also less than 10mins. The hotel also fetched us to the station on the last day of our stay. The ryokan itself is homely and cozy. We were greeted by an english speaking staff who introduced us to the amenities of the ryokan. There was also a nice welcome tea and matcha chocolate. Our bags were brought to our room as well during this time. The room is spacious and cozy. The hotel prepared 2 welcome biscuits in the room which was a nice personal touch. The room has a nice living room and a great view of Lake Biwa. Recommend to catch the sunrise over the lake! There are 2 normal beds as well as futon beds (need to set up yourself). Both are comfortable. The hotel also prepared pretty yukata for both female and male guests which you can wear during the stay. There are 4 different designs for ladies, and one design for the guys. You can request for different size if the one in the room doesn’t fit you. There is also a full length mirror and a mini dressing area at the side of the living room. It was fun dressing up in the yukata! The toilet, basin, shower and hot tub areas are all separate. The toilet is a little small, but the basin and mirror area is very spacious. The shower area is quite small as well and the shower head is rather low so you need to hold the shower head if you wish to wash up while standing. There is a small stool given for you to sit down though. The hot tub area is semi-outdoor and you can see Lake Biwa. But it is quite small (only good for one person). It was too cold so we didn’t use the hot tub. Instead, we booked the private onsen for 50mins. The private onsen has a private toilet and dressing area which is equipped with hairdryer, body lotion etc. There is a water dispenser as well if you need to hydrate yourself. The onsen area has a washing area, and the hot tub area is spacious for 2 person. There are privacy screens around the onsen area but there is a small gap to let in cold air for ventilation. Wish there is a good view from the private onsen but it was still enjoyable! Dinner and breakfast was Kaiseki style, and the meals were one of the highlights for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the courses which are clean tasting yet wholesome, fresh and flavourful. It was such a sumptuous treat! The ryokan also has a souvenir shop if you wish to buy anything back. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed the stay here and we agreed this was one of the main highlights of our 12 days trip in Japan. Highly recommend!

C'est mon deuxième séjour au Biwako Ryokusuitei. Mon mari et moi y avions séjourné pour la première fois en 2022 et avions été tellement impressionnés par le service que nous y sommes retournés en famille en 2024. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le confort de pouvoir nous baigner dans l'onsen de notre chambre et le dîner et le petit-déjeuner étaient toujours aussi excellents. Un grand merci au chauffeur qui nous a conduits au téléphérique de Sakamoto lors de notre départ. Il s'est mis en quatre pour nous emmener à la gare afin de vérifier la disponibilité des consignes pour nos bagages à main et a fait de son mieux pour communiquer avec nous en anglais afin de nous recommander des endroits à visiter et des restaurants à essayer. Sa gentillesse et sa jovialité nous ont accompagnés jusqu'à notre retour à Singapour et nous en parlons encore aujourd'hui. Merci à toute l'équipe du Ryokan d'avoir rendu ce voyage inoubliable pour ma famille et moi !

After a crowded Kyoto, I love the peaceful and tranquil environment of this beautiful onsen hotel-ryokan and charming castle town. Everything about the hotel speaks of relaxation and well-being. It's only a 7-8min walk away from Hikone Train Station but there is a hotel shuttle that leaves at 9, 10 and 11 am if you need a drop off. Pick up could probably be arranged too. The hotel offers a pretty outdoor terrace with Castle view, an on-site spa with massage, a library lounge with free drinks till 10pm, a foot reflex corner and a compact onsen with a silk bath (all with Castle view) and hot stone benches. I had the whole onsen to myself in the evening, so it was very relaxing. The staff are kind and lovely too, making an effort to explain all the services and amenities in English. The buffet breakfast was also one of the better ones I've seen in my trips to Japan. If you're visiting the Castle, the entrance road is right outside the hotel. The main castle road is about 5-10 min away but you will pass by a famous Japanese confectionery, Taneya and Club Harie. Their souvenirs are one that even the Japanese cherish. I would wish to come here again with my partner one day. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Cet hôtel thermal est très agréable. Si vous arrivez en train, vous pouvez appeler l'hôtel pour réserver une navette à votre arrivée. Il est un peu éloigné de la gare. L'hôtel a un aspect un peu vieillot, probablement construit dans les années 80 ou 90, mais les installations sont bien entretenues. Les équipements des chambres sont un peu anciens et certains endroits, comme sous le coffre-fort, étaient assez poussiéreux. La nourriture est bonne ; le petit-déjeuner est un buffet. Après un bain dans la source thermale, vos mains et vos pieds sont tout doux.

L'environnement de l'hôtel est très bon, la nouvelle conception harmonieuse, le service traditionnel de l'hôtel thermo-japonais est très bon. Le service des employés est très actif et pluie quand ils sont arrivés. Ils aident à utiliser la pluie de pluie, trop touché, il y a de l'hiver et de l'eau de boisson à la nuit, magnifique

Booked this stay to explore the areas around Lake Biwa. Reception was warm and friendly with an English-speaking host who provided us with the information for the stay. We booked the western style room as we preferred an attached bathroom, however the room condition was outdated and needs refurbishment, like peeling surfaces. The Japanese style room looked better when we caught a glimpse during check-out time. Nevertheless, location and amenities were great. Location is near major eateries and commercial centres by a short drive.

1) air conditioning is very week, suggest equipping with one more fan in the room 2) only one female lobby staff worked very slowly . Other staff just rest not come out for work We had waited for a very long time to get back our stored luggage and missed the JR train 😥🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

C'est un bon choix pour le ski d'Oy! Pas trop loin et près de la ville. Les fonctions de la vie sont très pratique. Si vous êtes en train de conduire, vous pouvez aussi vous arrêter sans craindre. Les marchands ont aussi aidé à récupérer les chaussures oubliées. Merci. La soupe de la sauce est très confortable ! C'est très bien !

Changjiang est le seul site situé sur le lac de la Ligne de base du Nord-Terre (Ninguém de la lignée de lac et de la mer de Meiyuan n'est pas à côté du lac), et l'hôtel est à Changjiang, à cinq minutes en plein milieu, pas loin. La chambre d'hôtel est située au sud et au nord, ce qui permet à toutes les chambres de voir le paysage du lac. Le septième étage de l'hôtel dispose d'un casino et d'une écran intérieur (au sud), qui est déjà le point de fabrication au bord du lac. Le paysage est très bon matin et soir. Les trois côtés du sud-est et du nord-est observent le lac de la mer, et l'Eden Mountain. Le départ de l'hôtel est le ferry de la mer de la mer de la mer et le bateau de voyage à l'île de la mer La chambre conserve le style de décoration de l'époque de l'amour et est très propre. Bien que le taux de séjour soit élevé, le couloir n'est pas très épais. Le service n'a rien dit, tout ce que vous devriez donner est donné. Bien que ce ne soit pas très cher, il y a eu des choses à faire en comparaison avec les sites de lac de Dajin et de Lake West qui sont volatiles sur Internet. Merci à l'hôtel pour avoir une expérience de soirée agréable. Comme la chanson de la navigation de la mer de Liu est venue ici, je vois vraiment le point de vue des paroles dans l'hôtel. J'espère que cet hôtel de vue abordable pourra toujours exister.

Le petit déjeuner est très bon et l'expérience des sources chaudes est également très bonne. Il n'y avait personne quand j'y suis allé, c'était juste une charte. L'emplacement est juste au bord du lac, confortable et calme, il y a un 7-11 à côté, vous pouvez faire des achats simples. Le propriétaire de l'hôtel est une grand-mère gentille et aimable, qui peut nous recommander des activités locales dans un anglais simple. Je lui suis très reconnaissante d'avoir pris soin d'elle pendant quelques jours.
