Beautiful marshland, trails, and beach area highlight a very cool park. We were fortunate to see a small herd of the wild ponies that made our day. The lighthouse is nice and quite picturesque as well...

"Off" Season = No Bugs and No Crowds
We visited during the "off" season so the crowds and bugs were non-existent. We only saw the ponies from a distance, but we had lovely walks on the beach and on a couple trails. Rangers at the visitor...

Great family adventure.
I really enjoyed the beach and crabbing with my 16 y/o daughter. We loved staying in Chincoteague and the small-town environment. Lighthouse walk is great. Enjoyed the wildlife and walks.
