This place is still closed!!! Although they post as open 10-16 it is closed at all times. They say they don’t have permit to open (I know since I drove all the way to meet a closed gate)

don't know why i didn't post this before. I really hope they re open it. I hate underground caves. But this was actually two caves, and there's only about 30 seconds where you can't see the opening in...

It is CLOSED.

Disappointed to find the cave closed after driving 50 miles to get there. But there's lots of mountain scenery in the area. Along with devious roads that aren't wide enough for 2 cars to pass.

Closed to visitors

Closed. Why are they not posting updated information. We went there on March 27, 2022. You may want to go to Arecibo to visit the observatory and the El Indio Caves.

Closed semi-permanently

Closed due to government requirements about paperwork. Maybe mo way? So sad, was really looking forward to this. Nice man there to explain everything and send me on my way
