Pewit's Nest Gorge

Peaceful gem.

Beautiful area. Small parking area. Don't forget your state park sticker! Keep within boundaries...fencing had to go up to protect it. This is a SNA!

Spring walk

Easy to find. Went in mid-April and a section of the trail was closed. It was not muddy and the wildflowers were just starting to bloom. Birds were singing.

Short, pleasant hike

Short, out and back hike. Pretty views. Small waterfall and a pool of water. Areas are fenced off to protect area and prevent climbing

Great for young families!

There were a few other younger families exploring that day. The water is clear and cold, not super deep. If you have a younger kiddo and they plan to actually swim, they may need a puddle jumper/life ...
