We hiked from the parking area to the viewing area. The poles have profiles to see where the rock formation use to be. Signs explain the history and what happened.

Worth the walk!
This attraction is well worth the short walk to Profile Lake. It was cloudy the day we were there but you can still see where the Old Man was and the informative signs explain it all.

I remember see the Old Man Of The Mountains for the 1st time in September of 1976. I had no idea that some of the stone had collapsed in 2003 altering the look, so my 2nd visit was quite a surprise. F...
