After getting off the bus, walk to the entrance of the scenic area (3-5 minutes) Scenic Area Ticket: Guangdong residents are still free, sightseeing car 50 yuan/person, other tickets can be temporarily not bought, they are available inside. There are three attractions in total: Huangguoshu Great Waterfall - Tianxing Bridge - Steep Slope Pond (Note that the sightseeing cars inside are one-way, with Steep Slope Pond being the closest, the Great Waterfall the farthest, and Tianxing Bridge in the middle. I went to the Great Waterfall first, so to go to Tianxing Bridge for the second stop, I had to go back to Steep Slope Pond first) First Stop: Huangguoshu Great Waterfall After the sightseeing car arrived at the Great Waterfall, we didn't take the escalator down, but walked down the stairs directly. Along the way, you can see the waterfall from a distance, and it's not tiring at all except for the strain on the knees. Along the way, you will see viewing platforms one after another, and finally go to the Water Curtain Cave (you can bring a raincoat in advance). After passing through the Water Curtain Cave, take the escalator to the starting point of the sightseeing car (escalator 30/person, round trip seems to be 50/person). Although it's only a 2-3 minute ride, I really didn't want to walk any extra. Second Stop: Tianxing Bridge I did some research and heard that the upper half of Tianxing Bridge is quite boring, so I only went to the lower half. After arriving by the sightseeing car, don't swipe your ID card to enter!! Walk to the left and go up the stairs!! It's right above the ticket checkpoint!! Keep walking straight (you will see many people walking in the opposite direction along the way, because if you only walk the lower half, the way in and out will overlap a bit). Along the way, you will see the Ponytail Waterfall - fruit-selling aunties - McDonald's KFC, and then you officially start walking the lower half. After reaching the Tianxing Bridge attraction, you can take the cable car back according to the signs for 10 yuan/person. After taking the cable car, a sightseeing car will take you to Gaolaozhuang, near where the fruit-selling aunties are, and you start walking the repetitive part of the way in. Finally, take the bus back to the entrance of the scenic area at Tianxing Bridge Station, because I didn't go to Steep Slope Pond. After returning to the entrance of the scenic area, also take the bus to Anshun West Station, the same 22 yuan/person, 30-40 minutes. Time: I walked a bit faster, arriving at Anshun West Station at 8:10 in the morning, and was back inside Anshun West Station at 15:25 in the afternoon. Remember to reserve 40 minutes for the bus ride from the scenic area to the high-speed rail station. The bus normally runs every 30-40 minutes, but sometimes it will depart early when full, so it's best to reserve more time, otherwise, you might miss the high-speed train. Overall: I feel that going to the Great Waterfall for the first stop is better, avoiding the crowd, and going to take beautiful photos first. If you go to Tianxing Bridge first, you'll probably be completely exhausted afterwards. Recently it's the dry season so there aren't too many people, avoiding the crowd for a better experience!

Tickets: The scenic area ticket includes three attractions for 160 yuan, plus a scenic shuttle bus between the attractions for 50 yuan, totaling 210 yuan. There is an elevator in the Great Waterfall area that costs 30 yuan one way, which you can choose to walk instead. If you have limited physical strength, you can opt for the elevator. The Tianxing Bridge area has a cable car for 10 yuan, which can save some walking distance. The ticket price is a bit expensive, and some tourists, like myself, only chose to visit the Great Waterfall area, which is not very cost-effective. Tour Route: First, let's talk about the average playing time for the three attractions. The Great Waterfall area takes about two hours, not counting the peak season, when just queuing for the Water Curtain Cave can take one or two hours; Tianxing Bridge takes 2-4 hours, divided into the upper and lower sections. Many tourists only choose to play in the upper section due to physical strength issues, which is about one or two hours to Gao Laozhuang and then return. However, I personally suggest either completing the whole journey or not going at all, as the core attractions of the entire scenic area, Tianxing Cave and Xingxia Waterfall, are in the lower section. Since there is no way back after passing Gao Laozhuang into the lower section, completing the whole journey takes nearly four hours and is a real test of physical strength. Steep Slope Pond takes about one hour, mainly featuring the filming location of 'Journey to the West' and a Steep Slope Pond waterfall. The attraction is not large and relatively average. Based on the above situations, many people choose to go to Tianxing Bridge first to tackle the more difficult part, then to the relatively easier Great Waterfall, and finally decide whether to go to Steep Slope Pond based on their physical strength. This time, I went straight to the Great Waterfall first. After watching it, I assessed my condition, and since I had a bit of a cold and fever recently, I gave up on the Tianxing Bridge and Steep Slope Pond areas. However, I don't feel regretful, as I visited the most essential attraction, and the other two were just part of the package, so it doesn't matter if I didn't visit them. Ps: Now is not the peak season with the highest water flow. At the entrance to the scenic area, there are many vendors selling raincoats. Personally, I suggest that unless it's a rainy day, walking through the Water Curtain Cave will only get you a few water droplets, but it's not a big deal, so there's no need to wear a raincoat as they suggest for the Great Waterfall Water Curtain Cave experience.

Huangguoshu Waterfall The Great Waterfall is the center of the entire scenic area and the core spot for visiting (recommended visit time is 2-3 hours). The waterfall is 77.8 meters high, with the main fall being 67 meters high; the waterfall is 101 meters wide, with the main fall top being 83.3 meters wide. Huangguoshu Waterfall is an erosion gap type waterfall in karst topography. It is the largest in Asia and the third largest in the world. Due to the large drop, the water cascades down from the cliff, making a huge noise, and the scene is very spectacular. Behind the waterfall, there is a water curtain cave, and passing through it, you can see the rainbow over the Rhino Pool, which is absolutely beautiful. 2. Tianxing Bridge Tianxing Bridge is located at the very inside of the entire scenic area, divided into upper and lower sections, and is the most tiring and time-consuming of all attractions (about 3-4 hours). The upper half is mostly artificial scenery, reaching Gao Laozhuang, you can choose to exit or continue to visit the lower half. Of course, the lower half is the essence, with the Yinchuan Waterfall and the caves in the lower half. 3. Doupo Pond Doupo Pond is located on the outermost part of the entire scenic area and is the waterfall with the widest top among the Huangguoshu Waterfall group. It is also the filming location for the river crossing scene of Master Tang and his disciples in the 1986 version of 'Journey to the West'. This spot takes less time to visit (about 1 hour). Basic Strategy 👣Route suggestion: Tianxing Bridge - Great Waterfall - Doupo Pond (The scenic sightseeing car stops at Doupo Pond - Great Waterfall - Tianxing Bridge in succession, starting from the farthest Tianxing Bridge and moving outward is relatively reasonable, because in the end, you need to take a bus back to Guiyang from the outermost parking lot); if it is a two-day trip, it is relatively more relaxed, and you can put the Great Waterfall or Tianxing Bridge on a separate day.
