Ami Cultural Village is a famous tourist attraction in Hualien. It mainly introduces the life style of former Taiwanese residents. In addition to running souvenirs, ornaments, marbles and local shops, the village also displays many cultural relics such as original Ami houses, clothing, daily utensils, fishing and hunting tools and canoes, which are the best places for tourists to know Ami culture. There are five performances a day. In addition to the last two regular performances, the remaining three performances are decided by the number of performers. The host is the Amy Queen selected from the annual festival. The performances include wedding dance, souvenir dance, farming dance, rice dance and warrior spiritual dance.
