Interesting historic site.
The 15 minute video was very informative. The museum was small but well done. There are three hiking trails. The 2 mile trail has 2 major hills at each end of the loop with only 2 entrances/exits.

Interesting bones!
Mastodons lived here in Missouri! Come look at one of them, and learn about the rest! Imagine how our ancestors shared this land with these large animals.

We didn’t realize this site is closed on Mondays an Tuesdays. Call before you go. The wildflower trail is closed as well now too. We walked the limestone hill trail and it was nice, but can see how it...
