Worth visiting.
Great to place to relax after roaming the Manuel Antonio park. few trees with shade, relatively calm water, could be busy.

worth the short extra walk....
attractive, less crowded than playa Manuel Antonio; sunbathing & relaxing; no swimming (currents, innumerable large rocks)....

Scenic but Rocky Beach
You can hike to this beach from Manuel Antonio Beach and it does provide a beautiful scene when you arrive, but the beach is quite rocky and very different from the sandy Manuel Antonio Beach

Don't see what all the fuss is about
Not sure what all the fuss is about. Gamelas is rocky, had lots of debris in the water the day we went, our tweens barely dipped their toes in. We had a better time at the Quepos public beach!

Beautiful Beach During our Manuel Antonio NP Hike
Lovely and less crowded than the main beach, we didnt get to spend much time but loved it here. It totally fits the tropical beach vibe.
