Not Safe
Wawanosh is not family friendly. There is a good chance you'll run into an uncomfortable visual in the parking lot, as this a prime cruising spot. I've unfortunately encountered this twice myself. Als...

Hidden gem
It's a natural wetland so there are lots of bugs and it does not smell great at times but that's nature for you. Great place for walks and you can take amazing sunrise and sunset photos here. ❤❤❤❤❤

Great place for a nature hike
Whether you do the paved lap or the unpaved portion its a great walk. Paved section is great for strollers or kids on bikes. My favourite is the unpaved lap.

Wetland area
Lots of birds and critters, tends to be a lot of mosquitos and best prepare to protect yourself from ticks. There is a picnic area and walking tails.

Buggy and Smelly
We went to put in our canoe. The smell was bad and the water was dirty. The area is great for walks but not for canoeing.
