This was our first visit to Skala although it actually our third time to Kefalonia. The Melidron is a lovely hotel in an ideal location (about a 10 minute stroll from the busier area of the town) and a couple of minutes walk from the beach. The breakfasts are typically Greek - yogurt, breads, cheese, meats and fruit but made even better by the daily dose of Cremmie's home made cake. We also had a couple of lunches at the hotel - pizza and Greek salad which again were very tasty and made to order. Wendy was our contact before and during our stay and was very helpful and knowledgable. Theo and Aris who ran the bar were very friendly as was Penelope who was on reception during the late afternoon and evening. The pool bar and pool area were nice places to sit and the infinity pool gave a great view of the sea. The gardens were well kept and nice to sit in if you wanted a change from a sunbed. There was never an issue getting a sunbed though we did notice a couple of people put towels on the sunbeds early then didn't bother using them until later in the day. This wasn't necessary and just annoyed other guests. Our room was on the ground floor and had a garden view and was a good size. All in all a lovely relaxing holiday in a lovely hotel with first class staff.

A lovely hotel, very clean and today with lovely staff. The hotel is in quite a rural area so I would recommend booking excursions or hiring a car. The local beach, Ammes beach is lovely for a swim. Overall the hotel was absolutely fantastic, the food was good, we went half board and enjoyed every breakfast and dinner that was served, the hotel also has some really nice lunch options. The rooms are nice and spacious and come equipped with all amenities, hotel staff are really friendly and welcoming and always happy to help. The hotel pool was a lovely place to sit for a relaxing day, we visited in October and had no problems finding somewhere to sit but I could imagine that during peak summer months that the hotel would be short of sun loungers. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to someone visiting Kefalonia, Argostoli is a 20 euro taxi away or you can catch the local bus from Ammes beach bus stop for just 2 euro, overall great hotel and good location.

L'hôtel Mirabelle City Centre est l'hôtel le plus ami que nous ayons jamais séjourné. Cette évaluation devrait être courte parce qu'il n'y a pas de chose à plaindre. Le bureau de réception, habituellement mangé par Tasos est accueillant et efficace. Le service de la chambre est très bien situé, le service de la chambre est très bien situé. L'aircondition a fonctionné sans problème et une caisse a été fournie, tous deux pour une charge supplémentaire. (Oui, je dois en savoir plus.) Je me demandais ce que l'évoque collective pour les crickets était et j'ai décidé qu'il devait être une équipe! ......Oh comment fatigué, Google dit une orchestre de crickets. La location est à la place pour les repas et les cafés et les bateaux et ferry sont à quelques minutes. C'est donc mon bref avis ....except pour le petit déjeuner. Rosa est la Reine de la cuisine. Il y a tellement de choix. Vous pourriez rester quelques mois et ne manger pas deux fois la même chose. Les gâteaus et les biscuits sont tous fabriqués à la maison par Rosa et si agréable. À la fin du petit déjeuner, elle commence à cuisiner demain, elle ne semble jamais cesser. Merci Rosa. L'hôtel ne serait pas le même sans elle et Tasos. Va rester, vous ne serez pas déçu. Nous l'aimons.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at the Aenos Hotel. Every single member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect experience in Argostoli. From booking airport transportation, to providing excellent recommendations and directions, to giving us fresh towels and an umbrella to take to the beaches, to bringing drinks and snacks directly to our room, the service is unparalleled. The breakfast is fresh and delicious- don't skip on the homemade jam, fresh Greek yogurt granola and Turkish figs. Fresh eggs cooked every way! We enjoyed Aperol spritzes or local wine and beer every night for happy hour. The rooms are spacious and spotless with gorgeous views of the town and water. The hotel is conveniently located in the town square, walking distance to so many amazing restaurants and shops. We walked to one nearby beach (Makris Gialos Beach) and were able to drive (around 45 min) to Mirtos and Antisamos. Most of all, though, the staff at the Aenos is so incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. Every single person went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming to us, happy to help with our every request and question. When we left I was genuinely sad to say goodbye, and I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend to every person visiting Argostoli!

Le service de l'hôtel est très confortable et vous pouvez vous rendre à l'hôtel. Vu la chambre 203 au 2ème étage avec balcon très étroite avec vue sur le port. Super propre chambre avec lit confortable. Petite salle de bains avec très petite cube de douche - mais forte flux d'eau avec beaucoup d'eau chaude. Aircondition disponible et nécessaire dans le temps chaud. Amusez-vous à boire dans le bar de haut toit. Situé à la rue principale avec les boutiques et restaurants mais la chambre est calme - c'était la fin septembre. A 700 m de la gare d'autobus - nous allions à Ithaca par ferry de Sami.
