I love this place so much that a part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem. Fanzhu梵住 is a beautifully curated boutique hotel that delivers outstanding hospitality. I initially booked a 5-day stay but loved it so much that I extended for an extra day, willingly sacrificing my next destination. I was initially worried the hotel might be a ”pretty façade.” Fortunately, Fanzhu met all my needs of functionality and comfort (Breakfast, Air Conditioning, an excellent shower, free self-service laundry, an ideal location). The property is far from perfection, but it overcompensates with simple, heartfelt sincerity. You can feel the tremendous thought and effort poured into this place to make guests feel comfortable. ✨ Highlights, Who Will Love This Place: ✅#English-Speaking Travellers: For foreigners unfamiliar with China, it is extremely helpful that the owner is fluent in English. ✅#Design & Aesthetics: Warm & modern. The property exudes zen-like comfort with charming decors. It has a gorgeous yard, with swimming pool, and ample outdoor seatings. ✅#Remote workers: I didn’t plan to work on this trip, but I could see myself working there remotely. If you come from the city where every building looks like a boxy Lego piece, you will deeply appreciate this place. ✅#Personalized Service: Kudos to the young lady boss! In a place like Wanfenglin where the location pins and 导航 can be vague to foreigners, sh took the time to understand my itinerary, how I planned my routes around Wanfenglin. She gave recommendations, and helped me check my “Destination” input on car hiring app. Airport and railway station pickups can also be arranged easily too. ✅#Immaculate Rooms: THE BED! Oh my, the bed! The linens, pillows, and towels are all premium quality. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash feel luxurious. The bed is so comfortable that I would return just for a sleep-in holiday. Ok I know I’m mentioning the bed twice but it’s worth mentioning thrice. Extra points from me that the rooms are non-smoking. ✅#Location: Before arriving, I read a review describing this place as ”a piece of tranquillity close to the action”. Now I get it. It sits as an independent building on a peaceful road/hill(?), yet it is a short, easy walk to the Bagua fields and Zhong Nahui, where you can find idyllic cafes, little shops, and children playing in the fields. ✅#Breakfast: Delicious local-flavoured noodles!They also offer more conservative standards like toasts, eggs, and coffee. Oh, the hotel has an ice machine! Ooooohh so sexy in the hot weather (apparently ice cubes are rare in Wanfenglin). ✅#The Resident Pets: As a pet lover who willingly pays to visit cat cafes, having resident dog and cats sealed the deal for me. ✅#BONUS TIP: The Rooftop Night Sky. Unassuming and rugged at first glance, I was initially unimpressed. But I heard good reviews from others, so I gave it another go, and am thankful I did! Stay awhile, allow your eyes some time to adjust in the darkness, and you would see the sky completely transforms. On my last night, I saw a shooting star! I kid you not. It was an absolutely unbelievable, unforgettable moment. Incredibly awesome! ⚠️ Considerations Before You Book (Who should avoid): - If you love standard chain hotels. Fanzhu is intimate enough to offer personalized service. But I can imagine some of my more pampered friends who prefer international breakfast buffet spread would struggle to settle for this simplicity. Some things are just not realistic expectations off a boutique. - Mobility needs: There is no elevator. They would graciously carry your suitcases. However, elderly may want to enquire about ground-floor room. - In the midst of nature: If you have zero tolerance for insects, you may want to skip staying in Wanfenglin. It is a humid, lush environment surrounded by fields and trees. Personally, with a body spray of insect repellent, I wasn't bothered at all. - Pet allergies: If you hate pets (but why would you? :( w

Le meilleur hôtel de notre séjour au Guizhou. La patronne et son mari sont très gentils et à l’écoute. L’hôtel se trouve dans le village mais un peu à l’écart au calme, tout est accessible à pied. La vue sur les champs et les rizières au loin est très agréable. Nous avons été accueilli au RDC par les chats et l’oiseau de la propriétaire. La chambre est confortable et bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner proposé est soit chinois soit occidental et préparé avec soin. Je ne peux que vous recommander cet hôtel pour votre séjour. Il faut cependant noter qu’une nouvelle route contournant le centre de Zhaoxing vient d’être construite en mars 2026, tous les véhicules doivent y passer désormais, la rue centrale étant devenue piétonne exclusivement. Cet hôtel se trouve de l’autre côté du village (près de la magnifique route de randonnée vers Tang’an), mais à proximité de l’issue de cette nouvelle route. D’une certaine façon cet hôtel est donc devenu l’un des plus accessibles du village en voiture pour acheminer vos valises. L’hôtel propose de véhiculer jusqu’à la gare ou l’entrée du village, ce qui est très pratique (il faut compter 10-15 minutes jusqu’à l’entrée).

I'd like to share my impressions of my stay at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is very new and designer inside. The view of the village is, I'd say, the best in the area. First things first: the hotel offers a butler service, and when you arrive at the attraction, a butler will meet you and take your luggage. You don't have to bother walking to the bus, which is quite a distance, and the entire scenic area is on a mountain, requiring constant climbing. The hotel is also located on a hillside, so getting to it requires a climb up narrow steps. The butler carried my luggage and accompanied me the entire time. The walk from the entrance to the hotel took about 25 minutes, including the bus and the walk. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted at reception and offered afternoon tea; there were five drinks on the menu. I chose a milk oolong tea with milk, and they offered me fruit, nuts, and homemade cookies. It was delicious. I spent the entire time relaxing, drinking tea, and enjoying the village views. After I'd rested, I went to my room. I was given a room on the 4th floor with the lucky number 888. The room has absolutely everything: excellent Loccitan cosmetics, toiletries, robes, and slippers—everything is of very good quality. There's also a modern hairdryer and steam iron. There was a bath on the balcony, but I didn't use it because it was chilly. The room is really new; it has underfloor heating if you get cold, and also air conditioning. The bed linen, pillows, and blanket were wonderful. I didn't even notice how my night passed; I truly rested for the two nights I stayed at this hotel. The hotel staff explained how I could spend my time and took me to a restaurant where I could have a delicious meal. Then I went for a walk. I spent the entire evening strolling around the village and taking in the sights. That evening, when I returned, I was offered evening soup, which I really enjoyed; it was very unusual. Since I was a foreign tourist, the hotel staff communicated with me using a translator via WeChat, which was very convenient and prevented any misunderstandings. The next morning, I was offered breakfast, which was served on the first floor of the hotel. The dining room was also very beautiful and well-renovated. After breakfast, I went for a walk around the village to take beautiful photos. I had a wonderful time in the village, taking in the sights. I especially enjoyed the local people's show on New Year's Eve, as well as the singing of the women and men of the Miao people. The day before my departure, the hotel staff asked what time my return tickets to Guiyang would be and told me they would arrange for me to be transported to the entrance so I could call a taxi. I would give this hotel the highest rating, firstly because it's in a wonderful location on a mountain with a magnificent view, and literally a three-minute walk from the main observation deck. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel personnel, and especially to the butler his wechat name Velpro, they are all tried their best to help me and accompanied me on all my questions. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel owners, who care about the interior order, cleanliness, and the care of their guests. This level of hospitality is truly rare. If I return to this village, I will definitely stay at this hotel. I recommend it to everyone.

This hotel is the nearest airport hotel that I have ever stayed in China. The room is spick and span. The room alloted to me on the eighth level allows me to see the airport terminal, the observation decks, airport train station and flights taking off from the airport clearly. I take home the free razor and toothbrushes. Overall, I am very happy with my stay at this hotel but the hotel restaurant is closed at night and the receptionist is not around to take room orders. I ate durian bread at the hotel cafe near the concierge for lunch. I will stay here for sure again in October 2025.

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec toboggan et c'était vraiment génial ! Il y a des instruments de musique et des calligraphies dans le hall, c'est amusant d'en jouer. Ils offrent aussi des fruits gratuits, les litchis étaient vraiment juteux et frais. Nous avons eu un petit souci avec la machine à laver, mais le personnel nous a aidés et c'est devenu une expérience amusante. Le personnel était très sympathique et enthousiaste ; il nous a proposé de nous conduire à chaque fois que nous sortions. Même si nous n'avions pas réservé de transport pour la gare, ils ont fait de leur mieux pour trouver des voitures disponibles, mais finalement, le patron nous a conduits car nous étions pressés de prendre notre train. Malgré tous les désagréments que nous leur avons causés, il est resté patient et nous a aidés. Un grand merci ! 🙏

L'hôtel est juste à l'entrée du site pittoresque, adossé au pied de la montagne, et à côté d'un ruisseau, l'environnement est très bon et c'est très pratique. Il n'est qu'à quelques pas de la rue des restaurants. Le majordome n°007 est Xiaoman, et le service est très attentionné. Ma femme a souffert de gastro-entérite le jour de notre arrivée au mont Fanjing, j'ai fait une erreur et je n'ai pas pu manger beaucoup de choses. la cuisine a cuit à la vapeur deux petits pains cuits à la vapeur vers 21 heures et les a livrés. Cela peut être considéré comme une aide opportune si vous réservez la première heure d'entrée au site pittoresque, vous pouvez choisir cet hôtel, entrer tôt dans le site pittoresque. avoir un accès fluide jusqu'au bout et toute l'expérience de jeu sera grandement améliorée.

Zhijin Resort is a peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. The rooms are clean, spacious, and designed for comfort, with many offering stunning views of the natural landscape. The resort has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. Staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help. The dining options include both local and international dishes, which adds to the convenience of staying on-site. While it’s located a little outside the city center, the serene environment and fresh air make it well worth the stay.

Installations : Décoration moderne et raffinée ; le grand lit rond a rendu le séjour très confortable. Propreté : Impeccable. Ambiance : L'atmosphère intime de la chambre, avec son grand lit rond, donnait l'impression de pénétrer dans un monde féerique. Service : Le personnel de l'hôtel était très attentionné et toujours disponible pour aider avec les bagages, apporter du café et intervenir en cas d'urgence. Les costumes, notamment les vêtements ethniques Miao, les couronnes et les colliers en argent, étaient magnifiques. Les photos prises sur le balcon étaient particulièrement réussies. La chambre était climatisée, ce qui a permis de prendre des photos estivales au frais. Enfin, et surtout, le balcon offrait une vue imprenable, idéale pour prendre des photos et admirer le paysage.

The hotel design and rooms, lighting are all comfortable. Really credit to the brand four points. However, the staff ..... We have reservations for 3 rooms, however, at check in, we were only given room cards for 2 rooms.and upon correction, had to wait for the 3rd room key... At dinner, the beef soup noodles arrived one hour after we ordered, with almost no soup but a huge bowl of dry noodles, we had to ask for soup to be added... The beer order was missed. The Bolognese pasta tasted very weird that we ordered for kids, hope the meat was fresh. We asked to order a dessert from the menu and was told everything (all desserts, e.g. tiramisu, brownie, cheesecake etc) were sold out. We mentioned all these comments to the manager upon paying, and the manager merely said noted. And after 5 seconds when we were leaving she took out a cheesecake for us... We thought the desserts were sold out.... ? Thirdly, , we joined membership and asked the hotel reception to book our next stay with Sheraton at Guiyang, however to our horror after we left the hotel, we received an email saying 3 rooms at this huangguishu hotel is booked instead. We have already paid. Now we are still on our trip and had to call the hotel and ask them to cancel the wrong booking. Even though on the phone they said they would, (no apologies by the way), we still receive no confirmation on the cancellation of the wrong booking... So still have to use long distance call to reach this hotel again today. Forthly, the breakfast room and food choices are excellent. And most staff are hardworking. However, all hot water (the lemon water two hot water flasks) were left empty without top up despite requests. There was a staff funnily enough just hid in one of the breakfast rooms to avoid work.... Love four points design and hardware, but software really awkward experience.

J'écris rarement des avis, principalement par paresse, mais le service et la vue du Qixin Hotel méritent vraiment un coup de pouce. Les vêtements Miao de l'hôtel sont également très beaux. Installations : Les détails sont très soignés. Il y a un masque de sommeil près du lit et une boule de bain dans la baignoire. Globalement, c'est comparable à un hôtel cinq étoiles. Le lit king-size annoncé en ligne est vraiment king-size. Notre famille de trois personnes a utilisé trois oreillers, tous à plat, et chacun pouvait dormir en position aigle déployé. C'était très confortable. Propreté : La propreté est la priorité absolue lors d'un séjour à l'hôtel. On dit que le village est sujet aux insectes, mais ce n'était pas le cas dans la chambre. Elle était propre et confortable, et nous y sommes allés pieds nus. Ambiance : Cet hôtel est arrivé en deuxième position. Je donne généralement la priorité à l'ambiance, mais vu l'excellence du service, il devait être en deuxième position. Nous sommes arrivés la veille après-midi et avons pris des photos du village Miao matin, midi et soir depuis l'hôtel. C'était vraiment magnifique. La vue est époustouflante. Mis à part l'hôtel et les photos des vêtements Miao, nul besoin de sortir pour admirer le paysage ; on peut simplement l'admirer depuis sa chambre ou le toit-terrasse. Malgré la présence d'un bus touristique, l'hôtel était étonnamment calme la nuit. On voyait souvent des gens prendre des photos devant l'entrée de l'hôtel, de jour comme de nuit. Service : C'était vraiment excellent. Après la réservation, ils ont été constamment attentifs à notre séjour et à nos besoins. Un membre de la famille fêtait son anniversaire ce jour-là, alors ils nous ont appelés pour nous demander de préparer des nouilles de longévité le soir même. Elles étaient incroyablement délicieuses. Ils ont répondu à nos demandes jusqu'à notre coucher ce soir-là, et nous ont même aidés à porter nos bagages jusqu'au parking lors de notre départ. Tout le personnel de l'hôtel était toujours souriant et à l'écoute. Ayant séjourné dans des hôtels de toutes les étoiles, je recommande vivement Seven Letters pour le service. Fruits de bienvenue : Pastèque, rose, raisins verts, poires du Xinjiang, tous très sucrés. Soupe sucrée de bonne nuit : Une délicieuse soupe aux haricots mungo par personne. Boissons sans alcool à volonté au réfrigérateur : Les boissons glacées étaient fantastiques.
