Super clean! Convenient location. Although with no laundry service or microwaves for guests, the hotel provides 2 bottles of water and coffee every day. Still a good choice for students to stay for a summer gap if your student accommodation cannot help with that.

I had an outstanding experience at Leonardo Hotel Plymouth. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities that made my stay relaxing. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Plymouth, close to the waterfront and local attractions, which made exploring the city effortless. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality of the team. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend Leonardo Hotel Plymouth to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. La chambre qui nous a été donnée était au fond d'un vol d'escaliers qui a entraîné de nombreuses perturbations sonores tout au long de la journée et de la nuit. L'alarme à 7 h était également une appel de réveil non bienvenue. Le petit déjeuner était bon, avec une sélection décente et la situation générale est bonne pour accéder aux promenades locales et à la voie de la côte.

This hotel is very clean and all the woman receptionist very polite and helpful. Very happy with the service from them. The 2 man night staff were not helpful. I didn’t understand why I can’t order drink for our room and pay end of the stay. We even received letter in the morning that was outside the room not in envelope which everyone can read I didn’t like at all , reason been dater protection with don’t forget to pay for our order which we did straight away and had my full name on it.We stayed for 3 night so what was such a problem for those 2 night shift man. Otherwise all our stay was perfect. Thank u

The Palace Hotel was a delight to stay at. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely and we were surprised to have evening entertainment. We went on a budget and were delighted with the hotel. Only thing to add was the bathroom was a bit dated and could do with a new set, I understand having orgional features is nice, however, I think new would be better. Also we were told breakfast would be £9.00 each on arrival, but when we went to pay it what a whopping £27.00 for a full English (1 of each item) amd some avocado and boiled egg on toast... of course we could have the continental... but it did make us cough a bit!! The service was great though. Overall great stay would recommend and return.

The hotel entrance is lovely ans the room was nice, lovely sea view. A fridge in the room would have been a bonus. The pool and sauna and bar was also good. No hots drinks avaiable from 8.30pm, which was a surprise. The breakfast was disappointing.

Hi had a lovely stay at the leonardo hotel in Exeter , had asked for a 1 st floor but was given 4 th floor as I don’t like lifts it’s easier to be on the 1st floor to walk up & down , the man at reception called me & changed the room so all good , love the bar and restaurant area and all staff are friendly , will be staying again soon thankyou mrs Stillwell

Big problems at check in but this was actually trip.coms faulty for not confirming booking with hotel. Trip.com happy to take my money first had to complaint against trip.com the compensated me but with a fight. Location good you get breakfast included don't expect anything special. Like no round eggs. Torquay is quite expensive so alcohol and drinks prices at the hotel high. You can walk to marina in 5 minutes. No car parking so if you want parking be prepared to walk

Disappointed no fridge in room But overall cleanliness was good Nice bathrobe Toilet smelt of stale urine Beds were hard as were pillows didn't have a restful sleep for 2 nights Food in reaastuarant 3 courses was plenty and good value for money Over all pleasant place to stay why I awaited my husband to return from his surgery The range shop was a good distraction as was KFC Ms round the corner and Aldi Also majestic wines Would stay again though

The staff were so friendly and breakfast well-organised. It’s the only one where we’ve been able to take our dog in. The hotel is located well for Exeter, Dartmoor and the seaside.
