Hôtels avec bars à Dorset, Royaume-Uni

The location is great, just a ten min walk from the beach, or a five min walk to get a ten min bus to Boscombe or Bournemouth (although these only go every half hour, seem to always be late and stop running by 6.30pm so plan carefully, or take a stress free taxi ride instead - just £6 to Boscombe).  The hotel is clean and tidy, but the reception staff I met were sullen and unhappy to help, the beds we had were awful (feel every spring, I padded it with two quilts to be able to sleep, luckily it was very hot so we didn’t need them) and unfortunately our window was broken so I couldn’t shut the noise of people entering/leaving the hotel directly below the window out. However, the man sent to try to fix the window was extremely polite and helpful, and respectful of my request to be really quiet and softly spoken around my autistic son who was trying to get to sleep. And he fixed the window.  Luckily we were only staying for one night, so despite the painful bed, I would come back for another cheap, brief stay.

Probablement le pire hôtel dans lequel j'ai jamais séjourné pendant plus de 50 ans de mes voyages à travers le monde, tant pour des voyages d'affaires que privés. A part l'emplacement, tout le reste était horrible. Les chambres proposées ne présentaient aucune similitude avec les chambres présentées sur le site TRIP.COM. Il n'y avait pas de rideau de douche, le porte-serviettes n'était relié à aucune source d'eau chaude, aucune instruction sur les réglages de la douche, pas de téléphone - mes chambres étaient au fond de l'hôtel, pour accéder à l'ascenseur, il fallait franchir une pente raide. marches (difficile avec les bagages et les enfants, pas de service de portier disponible, parking exorbitant de 25 £ par jour, chambres non nettoyées pendant notre séjour, réservoir de toilettes bruyant, surface de la baignoire ébréchée par endroits, trousse de secours inadéquate (pas pansements ou crème ou tampons antiseptiques - requis lorsque mon petit-fils de 5 ans est tombé dans la pelouse de l'hôtel. Une chaise dans la chambre était bancale et dangereuse pour s'asseoir. Plus comme une note de 1,5 * que la note de 4 * sur votre site Web. Les sols sur le chemin de l'ascenseur craquaient et faisaient des bruits gênants Je dois déposer une plainte car on m'a vendu des chambres qui ne correspondaient pas à ce qui était affiché sur le site Web, ce que j'ai utilisé pour effectuer l'achat. Je n'ai pas essayé de nourriture à l'hôtel, car peu de gens ont été vus au restaurant à tout moment, ce qui est mauvais signe.

Great location, only 10 minutes walk from Bournemouth train station. I only stayed one night for a meeting I had the next day. All member of staff were very friendly ,courteous and polite! The property shows its age but the room are spacious when compared with other three star hotels like Travelodge. Its off the main road and very quiet in the night. I've opted in for breakfast, however, to be totally honest for the cost of £14 I expected to see more options - its very basic. However, all in all I had a good experience and will visit again!

Great hotel, stylish and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Room is top class and bed is comfy.

Booked this hotel as I stayed before in some Ibis hotels. When came to check in the person from reception asked us to wait until he checks the room.( it was around 4pm)? I assume room was meant to be checked before. Took him about 10 minutes or so. Took the keys room was nice, comfy, minimalistic If i can say so.(i would have a mini fridge). In about 20 minutes while we weregeting ready to go out AC stared to lick quite badly. When went downstairs told the same person at the reception he only nodded ( I mentioned as its for the interest of the hotel as everything is geting wet, floor, wall). After we came back, enetered the room was quite hot as the AC was off. Couldn't turn on, tried to contact reception through the WhatsApp number that is offered in the room ( saying phones are such a 1980's), no one answered after about half an hour tried to call the same number, again no answer. Tried to call the hotel, went through the AI. Went downstairs in the end to ask how to turn on the AC. Person at the reception said it is off from them and he can turn it on for me, which he did. After about 1 hour i had to go downstairs back to ask to turn it off as the water dripping was getting on my nerves and the AC could not be turned down either from the room. At least I was given a fan that helped to solve the issue, and I was told to complain in the morning if I need. Another thing I want to mention is that therr is no ice in the hotel, as when i went downstairs and asked for it been told they dont have any, neither fridge is available in the room. So my fathers treat away was unfortunately ruined by the hospitality of the hotel. At least weather was good.

Double sea view room with balcony. Spacious bedroom with nice seating area. Clean and in good decorative order. Comfy bed, quality linen. Wonderful, original metal-framed window and French door opening out onto huge balcony. Unfortunately, the sea view tuned out to be when looking left from the end of the balcony and not from the actual bedroom. Kettle needed descaling. Bathroom well appointed, nice towels and quality Elemis toiletries, but would benefit from a really thorough deep clean and a lick of paint. Absolutely fabulous public rooms, not ‘dated’, as some reviews suggest, but furniture and fixtures appropriately in keeping with the style and period of the building. Wonderful! Beautiful outdoor pool area and indoor spa. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Extensive woodland to the rear of the hotel. Just a few minutes walk to Knoll Beach, through the hotel’s extensive grounds (which includes tennis courts and a golf course) just over the road. Absolutely no information provided about any of these brilliant amenities, or indeed anything at all, in our bedroom. Also, no information about Wi-Fi, no information about breakfast times, no information about how to even contact Reception on the telephone provided in the room … The food at the evening meal was exceptional but was let down by the very slow service as staff focused on setting tables for the following day’s breakfast - which turned out to be so disappointing that it was hard to believe that both meals had originated from the same kitchen.

Stunning hotel, great location. Everything was fantastic. Small thing is room 109 has a small frosted window with no view. When opening it opens to a dirty mucky roof. We did not leave it open as vermin might enter the room. We also mentioned it was a 40th bday but no extras not even a note.

La chambre était très confortable et confortable, la chambre était spacieuse, lumineuse, avec lits confortables, la salle de bains était bonne . La piscine est très bonne et agréable d'avoir ceci à l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner était excellent avec une grande variété d'options, nous avons apprécié cette .

Le personnel semble travailler très dur. Malheureusement, l'hôtel lui-même est vraiment grubby et a beaucoup besoin de nouveaux tapis, de décoration et d'entretien. (Désolé, les gars d'entretien, il peut s'agir d'une heure insuffisante par jour). Il n'y a pas assez de pompe pour dire ”il n'y a qu'une pompe” quand aucune eau sort du douche et ensuite son brun pendant plusieurs minutes ! La chambre était décevante, mes vêtements restaient enfoncés dans les trous et mes vêtements se posaient au fond du réservoir. Il a été recommandé que je réserve un table pour le dîner, j'ai choisi pour 7h et le biscuit. 40 minutes plus tard, il était encore chassé! Chatting around the pool it seems two people can stay for £80 per night but I was charged £133 with breakfast. Le petit déjeuner était de style buffet et à peine chaud. J'ai visité les hôtels du groupe et ils sont bien mieux. Je ne recommanderai pas cet hôtel ou rester à nouveau!
