Hotel was clean, people were friendly, not to far from tower etc pictures made hotel room look bigger than it is, it's very small. I paid for bed and breakfast, if I knew what breakfast would be like I would have skipped it. U get small chopped tomatoes from tin which aren't even hot, would have prefers a real tomato. You get a small bowl of beans which is about a table spoon worth. The fried bread isn't even 1 slice or half a slice it's quarter slice . And 1 hash brown. Toast was cold aswell. Small glass of orange juice and coffee. Out of all that I drank orange and coffee and 1 slice of toast , couldn't eat rest. Others may find it ok but wasn't for me Tv wasn't working and could only connect to WiFi in reception area. Staff were lovely though .

Overall, it was an amazing experience, aside from a few minor issues. **Positive:** 1. The location was good, although it was a short walk from town. However, there is a tram service that runs every 10 minutes, and the cost was £12 per day for three people, which provided unlimited travel for the whole day. 2. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options to choose from. 3. The hotel environment was pleasant, featuring a nice reception and lobby area. 4. The room included a safe where you could store valuable items like your laptop and tablet for extra protection. **Negatives:** 1. Our toilet bin was not emptied after cleaning, and they forgot to replace the extra tissue roll in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. 2. There were no slippers or facial tissues provided in the room. 3. The bar was very quiet, and we were so bored that we didn't visit again.

Reasonably priced hotel with all the basics and friendly service. One girl changing the rooms when we were leaving saw me struggling with my luggage and hurried to carry it to the main door for me which I really appreciated. The room was clean and adequate but our stay was somewhat spoiled when we discovered that the shower was stuck on extremely hot..too hot to use temperature so we had to content ourselves with washing at the wash basin which we didn't appreciate.

We had two rooms booked. 1 room was with elederly parents! The room given was a fair walk and was quite far from the reception area with no assistance only verbal directions. It would've been nice to have had some assistance from staff. When we got to the room the sink plughole was blocked so I rang reception to get it fixed, didn't happen! Questioned reception duty staff and he lied and he said he had it fixed by maintenance when no one even came to look at it! This isn't the service we expected from ‘Mercure’ standard. Leaning over the bath to brush our teeth and everytime we needed to wash our hands after using the toilet we had to use the bathtub. Not sure I read anywhere but to use the swimming facilities the adults have to pay £10 fee. Other than that the hotel is near local shops/motorway as well.

It's a little far from Blackpool North Station, but the rooms are very spacious. It's not a super luxury hotel, but it's very clean and comfortable. There is also an elevator. The Henson hotel is a little far from the station and downtown, so if you have a large suitcase, it's a good idea to take a taxi. There are buses and trams running so it's fine even at night.

Great pub to stay at. Comfortable rooms great shower/bath. Good offering excellent and innovative don't miss specials board. Breakfast was good value choose the £15 option better vfm. We are both coeliac and this inn has a great GF menu. Staff are great very friendly and helpful. Recommemded.

Fair & Honest.   Negatives - 1) room (single with double bed) too small. 2) bar staff (gent) too cocky let the team down 3) no comeback when they checked my room out for cigarette smoke (from designated outside smoking area).    Positives -1) entertainment 1st class 2) all staff have obviously been well trained on how to respect customers.  3) very friendly holiday makers hotel  4) location

Nous avons séjourné pendant une nuit - check-in et check-out tard. Le personnel était très attentif et hébergé. Nous avons 2 enfants, un 4 ans et un 5 mois. Nous sommes arrivés très tard et nous avons été le dernier table dans le restaurant pour le dîner ainsi que le dernier à rencontrer le petit déjeuner. Cependant, le personnel s'est assuré que nous avions tout ce qu'il avait besoin et a essayé de leur mieux pour nous aider. Service impressionnant et un séjour agréable. Nous reviendrons certainement à cet hôtel lors de la prochaine visite à Lancaster.

The room is so spacious. Couple of gripes are i was unable to have a coffee as the kettle had seen better days and was really grubby inside. When we got out of the lift at floor 1 there was an overwhelming smell of ******** as if someone had been smoking it in their room. We just looked at eachother as it is a personal dislike of that smell. Its very distinguished and lingers - the smell remained each time we got out of the lift. Service was impeccable.

Facile à trouver. Parking à une courte distance de l'entrée. Si vous êtes en tout cas handicapé, vous pouvez quitter mon entrée principale mais ne pouvez pas parquer. Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur dans l'hôtel, donc si vous êtes handicapé, vous devez demander une chambre au sol. Je ne savais pas qu'il n'y avait pas d'ascenseur, ils ont dû rapidement changer ma chambre au sol en chambre au sol. Ils ont fait cela sans effort malgré l'hébergement complet. La chambre a fondu mal, je me suis maintenue la fenêtre ouverte et a utilisé un refroidisseur d'air. Ils ont été emmenés dans une seconde télévision et le gestionnaire était un homme génial qui m'a fait rire quand il essayait de résoudre les problèmes. La nourriture était bonne. J'ai séjourné deux jours. Je reviens.
