Hôtels avec bars à Western Province, Sri Lanka

Hotel très bien situé face à la mer avec une vue splendide depuis la chambre et la baignoire ! La piscine au dernier étage est très agréable avec une super vue sur la mer et la ville, le bar est très sympa et on y mange et boit bien :) Le service de l'hôtel était très aimable avec nous, nous avons passé un super week-end ici.

Le restaurant est très confortable et vous avez un petit déjeuner. La chambre était spacieuse et avec de grandes installations, aime leur lotion de bain et leur haut-parleur dans la salle de bain !!

Our family of three checked into the hotel during the first week of May 2025. Unfortunately, our overall experience was underwhelming. Room service was disappointing, our order was incorrect, and we chose not to send it back as we assumed it would take a long time to receive the correct one. It also took three separate calls just to receive the room service menu. Additionally, we were charged for ice despite having an active room service food bill, which felt unreasonable. When we inquired about evening entertainment (Friday eve), the front desk assured us a live band would be performing, but this never happened. It appeared the resort seems to operate with minimal staff, which may explain the drop in service quality. On a positive note, we were warmly welcomed by a great host at check-in, and the barman at the pool bar made excellent cocktails and provided friendly service. Hopefully, this could be just a rare slip-up.

Situé en bord de mer. Le balcon de la chambre offre une belle vue sur la mer. Le petit-déjeuner buffet avait quelques mouches, et il fallait surveiller sa nourriture sur les tables extérieures : dès qu'on s'éloignait, des corbeaux venaient se servir et pouvaient emporter votre pain. Globalement, c'est pas mal. Nous y avons séjourné 2 jours après notre vol pour nous reposer avant de commencer notre voyage. Si les mouches et les corbeaux ne vous dérangent pas, je recommande cet hôtel comme escale après un vol.

We recently stayed at Galle Face Hotel, Colombo with my family. Overall, the hotel experience was good, especially the location and service. However, the rooms feel overly traditional and colonial, which does not fully meet modern-day requirements. The heavy wooden furniture and old-fashioned, posh décor may appeal to older patrons who appreciate classic heritage styles, but it may not suit travelers looking for a more contemporary stay. The electrical points and facilities are also quite outdated and not convenient for today’s laptop- and gadget-dependent travelers. I would suggest that the hotel consider modernizing some rooms and amenities, while still preserving a few heritage-style rooms for guests who prefer the traditional experiences.

An excellent stay that truly reflects the warmth and professionalism of true Sri Lankan hospitality. The hotel was comfortable, efficient service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally courteous, attentive, and professional throughout my stay, making the experience seamless and enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic stay with outstanding service. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

We had an amazing stay at Amari Colombo. Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The rooms were great, with a beautiful view that made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were very good, always helpful, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. We had an early check-out at 3:30 AM, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, which was a really nice touch and much appreciated. The rooftop bar was also great—perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, everything was perfect, and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

晚上到，早上離開的，就吃了早飯，沙灘上轉了一圈，沒去泳池。 房間： 很大，床有兩米寬（後來發現所有jetwing的酒店大床，都是2米大床）、 我們原本要加一張床的，前台小哥建議我們先check房間，再看要不要加床……… 他可以多給一床床單in case三個人一張被不舒服——— 大大的好評。 推開陽台門直麪沙灘大海，幾棵椰樹點綴，濤聲隆隆，心情大好。 房間設施有年頭了，但衞生程度不錯，沒有牙刷提供，因為一樓且靠海，蚊子非常非常非常多，請務必帶蚊子水 早餐不錯，斯里蘭卡餐飲水平很低，一開始覺得一般般，後來走完全程，住了更多更好的酒店之後發現，這裏還不錯———— 重點是這一家非常非常便宜啊！相比起其他動輒1800+ 的jetwing，性價比爆棚了。（當然整體水平肯定是低於jetwing yala 以及lighthouse的）

Nous avons visité Colombo hors saison, ce qui nous a permis de profiter de la ville sans foule. La vue depuis les chambres avec vue sur mer est incroyable pour le prix ; deux tours masquent légèrement la vue, mais les chambres Premium offrent une vue dégagée encore meilleure. Je tiens à féliciter Anjala, le réceptionniste, qui a réussi à me faire passer d'une chambre Supérieure avec vue sur mer à une chambre Premium. Il a pris le temps de m'expliquer les différences entre les catégories, a tenu compte de mon budget et m'a fait visiter chaque chambre (vides, bien sûr) avant que je ne confirme le surclassement. Sachant que j'étais en lune de miel (mon mari ne devait nous rejoindre que plus tard), il a transmis l'information à son équipe, qui s'est merveilleusement bien occupée de nous pendant notre séjour de quatre jours. La chambre était propre et spacieuse, idéale pour les appels professionnels grâce à une connexion Wi-Fi rapide et fiable. Seul bémol : la télévision ne propose ni Netflix ni AirPlay, seulement Miracast pour les utilisateurs Android/Windows. Conseil aux voyageurs : dites à votre chauffeur que cet endroit était autrefois l’hôtel Movenpick ; il saura ainsi où vous déposer.
