Hôtels avec bars à Canterbury, Nouvelle-Zélande

My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

When requesting a drinking mineral water, they only only give each person a (350 ml) small bottle. End up we are busy looking for a convinence store to buy more drinking water. As a 5 Star hotel brand , a request for a drinking water should not being rejected

While the room itself was clean and comfortable, the service was disappointing. The front desk staff were rude and unwelcoming during check-in. Additionally, I was required to pay a NZD 200 deposit, even though the listing explicitly stated no deposit was needed. This created an extra inconvenience at check-out, as I had to wait until the front desk opened at 7:00 AM just to get my money back.

Le Novotel est situé à quelques pas de la gare et de la célèbre rue New Regent. Le petit déjeuner est un établissement de qualité, mais il est très bon de se rendre à l'hôtel. La seule piscine de baignade / lavage est située à l'extérieur de la salle de bains, et elle est petite par rapport à la grande salle de bains.

La salle de bain n'était pas propre quand on est arrivé. Le sang et l'urine sont entrés sur le siège de la salle de bain. Bien qu'ils l'aient nettoyée, il a donné une première impression désagréable. La proximité de l'aéroport était très bonne.

La chambre qui vous a été attribuée n'est pas aussi grande que notre séjour précédent. La maison de garde est venue servir la salle mais nous avons toujours trouvé des zones de merde qui étaient intactes. Globalement, un séjour relativement bon.

Le personnel de la réception a offert un service de complimentarité à l'aéroport le matin suivant, un service que je n'avais pas réalisé était disponible. Le personnel a été très bienvenu, mais il a été très bien accueilli, et il a été très bien accueilli, et il a été très accueilli, avec une bouteille de lait frais, un touche inattendu mais très joli, ainsi qu'un soutien pour le transport de bagages à la fois dans la chambre et dans le camion. Toutes ces petites actions de bonté m'ont fait sentir si bien accueillies, surtout la nuit dernière en Nouvelle-Zélande. :)

L'emplacement est idéal, en plein centre-ville. On peut se rendre à pied à tous les principaux sites de Christchurch depuis l'hôtel. Juste à côté du Jardin botanique, notre chambre offrait une jolie vue sur celui-ci. Alice, à la réception, était très accueillante et nous a suggéré un excellent itinéraire de promenade pour découvrir les points d'intérêt. Elle nous a également donné de très bonnes adresses de restaurants, que nous avons testées et trouvées excellentes. Le lit était incroyablement confortable (et nous sommes très difficiles en matière de literie). C'est un bon point. Un coffre-fort dans la chambre aurait été appréciable pour y mettre nos objets de valeur.
