Lovely staff and great hotel location for anyone that’s a bit more car centric. Despite not using the on site facilities as much, the staff were lovely, friendly & helpful at any hour. The room was spotlessly clean, and had decent basic amenities, but the room I stayed in was starting to look a little tired. Decent value for money however, especially for the time of the year & a weekend.

J'ai été un peu déçu de séjourner à l'hôtel Apollo lorsque j'ai réservé, je l'ai réservé pour deux adultes et un enfant et quand je suis arrivé, il n'y avait qu'un lit double, ils m'ont dit qu'ils mettraient un lit simple pour moi pendant que je était sorti et quand je suis rentré à l'hôtel à 20h30, il n'y avait toujours pas de lit, ils m'ont finalement donné à 22h un lit de camp avec des ressorts manquants pour que mon enfant de quatre ans puisse dormir. à la fin j'ai fini par dormir par terre pour que ma fille puisse avoir le lit avec son père, c'est vraiment dommage de voir un hôtel dans lequel j'ai séjourné quand je me suis marié s'est dégradé, il y avait beaucoup de plateaux sales dans le couloirs sur le chemin de la chambre, mais à l'entrée de l'hôtel était magnifique,

Hotel was clean, and handy location for the station. The room was quiet and although no A/C, a fan provided was quite adequate even though it was a very hot day. Bathroom a bit tired though.

Nous avons séjourné à Holiday Inn Fareham Solent. Pour cette location, une voiture serait idéale. Il y a une gare Shell Petrol non trop loin. Tous les membres du personnel sont amis, toujours avec un sourire chaud. Ils m'ont offert un parking gratuit. Le petit déjeuner était une excellente option végétarienne ou non végétarienne (options saines disponibles). La chambre était sur le sol, il y avait un peu de truc qui passait par la fenêtre, je l'ai dit au personnel. J'ai donné seulement 3 marques pour les équipements parce que Jacuzzi n'est pas en service.

Le centre de la ville est très bien situé, mais il est très bien situé. Il aurait été agréable de savoir qu'il y avait des rôles devant la fenêtre (mais je suis arrivé après que le travail ait été terminé et que je suis parti avant que personne ne soit là ce matin, donc pas un problème). Le petit déjeuner était très cher pour un continental (IKEA à côté avait beaucoup mieux et moins cher que je vais utiliser la prochaine fois).

Stayed for a night in Winchester, place is around 8 mins walk from the train station so it is very convenient. However, the roads to it is quite dark especially in the late evening or night hence may not be suitable for solo travellers. Otherwise, it is indeed a very nice hotel and I am very very pleased.

Great Hotel, Great location, Great staff. Easy check in staff helpful & polite, then went for a swim,sauna & steam room after a long drive then chilled out at the bar area. I did find our bath in our room not very wide, when you have a shower the shower curtain seems to stick to you when you are washing (i need more room & no im not oversized) probably a shower cubicle would be better. Could do with a touch up here & there, no air-conditioning in rooms so ask for a fan or take your own. Breakfast is plenty from hot & cold & everything i needed. Thank you all for a great stay.

The hotel do not make it clear that you have to pay for the swimming pool each time you use it. When you have children who are expecting to swim, this is simply not good enough. When booking it clearly says there are leisure facilities, including a swimming pool. It was only when checking in that we were told you had to pay £5 per person! We booked a ‘golf view’ room. When we arrived in the room there was a view of a bush, tree and bins with golf buggies in the distance come the morning, hardly a golf view in our opinion. Very disappointed children who were excited to be able to see a fairway! Breakfast was massively understaffed. The two staff members working were working very hard but with a full hotel, there should have been more staff working. It took far too long for glasses to be topped up to use for juice and the pastries ran out and were not replaced in time for us to eat. All staff members were lovely and worked hard but I feel management need to act upon previous reviews. We were told that the golf view issue was historical and an issue with Trip and how they advertise but if this was the case, why had nothing been done to address it? We were offered a drinks voucher as compensation but we refused as we had already purchased our non-alcoholic drinks for the evening. Perhaps not the best offer for a family! We asked if we could have our swim paid for instead and were told no because the leisure facilities were separate to the hotel??

I booked two nights at this hotel where is centrally central which is perfect. But these days the UK was seriously hit under heatwave and this hotel, while not airconditioned in most rooms but provided a small fan, only allowed small window openings that made the room like a hot steamer. I sweated all night and felt extremely headache in the morning and I suspected myself getting stroke. On the oth side, the toilet flush was weak, and the drainage at sink was slow. If anyone who needs a bed for one night, and it is in winter time (the wall insulation is pretty good to keep warm) and if on a budget, he may book this hotel, but don't have any expectation of a ”hotel” to offer, not clean as tons of stains in sink, toilet rolls rough, shower and tap water slow. Fridge not cool.
