Hôtels avec petit déjeuner à Comté de Cork, Irlande

We stated for one night over the bankholiday weekend. Plenty of parking and a short stroll to the beach. Checkin was extremely quick. We had dinner and drinks downstairs in the lighthouse bar the food was exceptional and the service was fantastic. We used the pool and the outdoor hot tub which was lovely as pool itself seemed a little cold. We had a room on the 4th floor with a lovely little balcony which was unexpected that looked out over the car park and beyond. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the room is decorated with dark features including black paint but this showed up the evidently dusty areas of the room especially the radiator cover, while there was also heavy staining and debris on the carpet by the entryway and the water in the pre filled glass bottle tasted as if it had been there for days. The bathroom is lovely and similarly decorated however the existing low bathtub could be replaced with a lovely walk-in shower. We weren't told at checkin about any works going on in the hotel but we had our thoughts that there was because as we reached our room you could see dusty footprints emerging from a door directly opposite ours which was not a room this was confirmed the following morning when we were woken before 9 with drilling and sawing that was happening in the hallway. The guest directory said there was free WiFi but all networks were locked and no password to be found in the usual places like the back of the key card pack or the TV etc. We weren't asked on checkout how our stay was, just took our room number and said that's OK have a good day bye, seemed a little hurried even though there was nobody waiting behind us. Overall nice stay, top quality food and service downstairs but slightly better attention to detail in servicing rooms/ housekeeping and notice of possible works going on needed.

L'hôtel était très cher pour la nuit, car il n'y avait pas de petit déjeuner inclus. Le personnel avait assigné un parking pour moi, et à mon retour d'un funéraille familial, mon espace était parti. J'ai parqué dans un autre espace et quand j'ai informé le personnel qu'ils m'ont demandé de déplacer ma voiture dans un autre espace. J'ai refusé. Le personnel ne savait rien de ce qui se passait dans les parkings. Je resterai toujours au commodore, mais je chercherai probablement d'autres endroits pour aller de l'avant.

La chambre était très sommaire, sans chaussons et avec une douche peu pratique. La chambre familiale ne faisait pas les 30 mètres carrés annoncés en ligne, mais elle disposait d'un lit simple supplémentaire pour un enfant. Nous sommes arrivés vers 16 h et on nous a attribué une chambre au rez-de-chaussée (à ce moment-là, nous avions vérifié en ligne et des chambres familiales étaient encore disponibles). Juste à côté de notre fenêtre, on apercevait l'arrière d'un bâtiment en désordre, avec des graffitis et quelques vieilles poupées accrochées à la fenêtre. C'était un peu inquiétant, nous avons donc dû garder les rideaux tirés tout le séjour.

Great location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then. Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him. Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.

Le petit déjeuner était très bon, très confortable et très confortable. Je pense que l'hôtel doit préparer beaucoup, les garder sous les lampes à chaleur et ensuite juste ajouter un œuf frais cuit quand ils sont commandés.

Everything was good. Room was clean and had nice facilities. WiFi was good. Door closed softly (believe me, this is a godsend in hotels where clowns let doors slam closed behind them.... just as you are drifting off to sleep) Staff were excellent. Only downside was the disgraceful price for a pint of Guinness :-(

Clean ,comfortable, enjoyable !! I will stay again and the hotel is clean , the bed is very comfortable , the room is quite big. The breakfast is very great and they provide good service when ur drink and food are cold, the waitress is very kind and care you a lot, she reminded I get the hotter food and refill the hotter coffee for me !!

Absolutely beautiful hotel Sharon the hostess is Absolutely amazing she's very efficient so is thr other lady but I don't know her ne nothing is to much trouble for these ladies they work so hard the other lady is around Sharon's age and her and Sharon are always running around working and asking if everything is okay they are a credit to your hotel and thank you to all the people who work behind the scenes the chef and the domestics making sure everything is clean and tidy all these people are the backbone of the hotel

As we were staying for one night only we weren't TOO fussy. We got a family room which was also kitted out for wheelchair user. Our view was of a tall, solid concrete wall. Friends stayed in a bright, sunny room looking out over the harbour.. Choose your room carefully if you are staying for a while and like a pleasant view. Breakfast was just okay. I had poached eggs on avocado, peanut rayu and sourdough. Felt it had too many flavours. Would like to have seen some simple breakfast options on the menu. Several dishes served with hollandaise sauce. I also noticed a few flies hovering around the food area. Would not rush to stay there again even though location was fabulous looking out over the harbour.

The hotel was okay overall, but there were a few things that could definitely be better. Water bottles weren’t given every day—you only get them if you ask, which felt a bit inconvenient. It’s something you expect to be taken care of without having to remind them. The internet in the room was quite slow. It worked, but not great—good enough for checking messages, but not reliable if you need to do work or stream anything. On the bright side, the lobby looked really nice—clean, modern, and a good place to sit and relax for a bit. In short, it’s not a bad place, but a few small improvements could make the stay much more comfortable. Swimming pool service was good.
