Hôtels avec petit déjeuner à Province de Xieng Khouang, Laos

L'hôtel est agréable. Le quartier est peu attrayant, mais c'est à prévoir en zone rurale. Dès votre arrivée, on vous incitera fortement à réserver une excursion. On m'a proposé 100 $ pour deux personnes. L'excursion avait lieu de 8 h à 16 h. Ils vous emmènent bien sur tous les sites, ce qui nous convenait parfaitement. Nous avons eu une mauvaise expérience le deuxième jour de notre excursion (réservée par l'hôtel) : elle ne devait coûter que 80 $ pour une demi-journée, avec transfert à l'aéroport, mais au final, on nous a facturé 95 $ en monnaie locale. Globalement, je recommande l'hôtel, mais il est inutile de réserver une excursion avec eux.

Il a pris deux chambres. Il n'y avait que des chambres à l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner a été commandé sur un petit menu, le choix n'est pas grand mais pour le matin suffit. L'emplacement est un peu loin de la ville, à une petite altitude. Un endroit agréable, territoire très attentif. Les chambres sont confortables, des balcons agréables avec des meubles.

Pukyo is a 5-room B&B run by David who is a very friendly and helpful host. We got a room on the ground floor which was excellent for my husband who does not walk well let alone climb stairs. It was a big family room with a king-sized double bed and 2 singles. There is an ensuite bathroom with a very good hot-water heater. The bathroom floor gets wet and slippery after the shower but there is an anti-slip mat and Daivd knows about the problem which he is going to fix this summer. The aircon is very powerful and there's also a wall fan as an option. There's also a small TV but we did not use it. The B&B is about 4 min from the airport and less than 10 from town. David will take you to town for dinner in his comfortable van and wait for you. He very kindly bought dinner back for us the 2nd night as my husband was too tired to go out. There's a fridge stocked with beers and drinks and a water dispenser in the living area. We had wonderful chats with David who is a great font of knowledge and felt like we were staying with a friend rather than a commercial lodging. There are mosquitoes in the evening but David sells lemongrass -scented repellent for 11,000LAK - very effective also for outdoor tours. David has a outdoor seating area at the back and it's a very peaceful and pleasant place for breakfast or a beer at sundown. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with David.
