Hôtels avec petit déjeuner à Province d'Uva, Sri Lanka

Nous sommes arrivés vers 11h du matin. Notre chambre n'était pas encore prête et on nous a demandé d'attendre après 13h pour le check-in. Cependant, on nous a offert des smoothies et des serviettes pour la piscine. Le réceptionniste (j'ai oublié son nom) était très poli et accueillant. D'ailleurs, tout au long de notre séjour, il s'est montré très serviable ; on voit qu'il veille au bon fonctionnement de l'établissement. La vue est superbe. La chambre est propre et dispose de tout le nécessaire. Le petit-déjeuner est un buffet ; le choix n'est pas très vaste, mais tout est délicieux. On peut se rendre au centre d'Ella en longeant les voies ferrées, c'est très court, littéralement 5 minutes à pied. Nous sommes très satisfaits de l'hôtel et nous le recommandons.

這次在斯里蘭卡住過最完美的酒店，值得超五星。 我們訂的行政別墅，樓下一個大床，樓上兩個略小床墊。電動窗簾拉開就是幾乎全景玻璃陽台，可以看到外麪茶山。還能看到三孔橋和路過火車。 mini bar裏面給了幾十包茶包，都是免費，四瓶玻璃瓶水也是免費，酒和飲品收費。 游泳池很好看很出片，像無邊泳池。 一定要選帶晚餐的，晚餐是點菜式五道式，非常可口，也很特別，不含飲料。早餐也有一個很特別的脆皮蛋包，通往餐廳的路上能拍到很美的照片。 唯一就是蚊蟲比較多，整個行程唯一的兩個包就是在這裏晚上睡覺時候被咬的

Le ciel sur la terre! Tout le matin, je me suis déchiré avec petit déjeuner sur leur toit, sur la célèbre Ella Rock. Nous avons voyageé en avril, qui est célèbrement muggy et chaud, mais les fans électriques sont très puissants et nous ont gardés bons et cools dans les soirs, ils ont même un sommeil en leur place! Il n'a pas pu demander beaucoup plus. 5 min TukTuk à et de la ville (500sr ou £ 1.50). Ou un pacifique 10 minutes à pied. 11/10 serait recommandé

Perfect Stay in the Heart of Ella! We recently stayed at Bridge Front Inn and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything about this place is excellent. The staff here are incredibly attentive and friendly; they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We were greeted with a complimentary freshly made passion fruit juice, which was a delicious way to start our stay. The location is simply ideal — right next to the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, making it super convenient for exploring Ella's main attractions on foot. Although we didn't use their shuttle service because we weren't aware of it when booking, the owner kindly agreed to drive us to a restaurant one evening, showing true hospitality. The food was another highlight, absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention as there is an enormous selection of dishes to choose from. Our room was spotlessly clean with fresh bed linen and brilliantly white towels. Highly recommended!

We weren't too sure what expect given the lack of reviews when we went in August, and one of them being quite scathing. The staff were definitely aware of this negative review as the points which were raised were ironed out for us: we were always asked if we wanted a drink with our meals, and group activities were cheaper depending on a high number of participants. I think it only fair and they definitely listened. The room and bathroom and every fixture, the grounds and layout, the beautiful lighting, attentive food service, everything was designed and executed to be perfect. The experience is built around a genuine eco resort feel. We stayed 3 nights at Gal Oya, which felt a bit long as there was quite a bit of downtime. In saying that, it allowed us to do both a land safari and a boat safari and we were extremely lucky to see many many elephants, all to ourselves. Anuradha is a great asset to the place, brigning his knowledge, calm and down to earth nature and great energy. He looked after us and took us on some extra bushwalk around the place, maybe sensing that we needed a bit more acitivity. He showed us all the local plants and food, and I would suggest it would be nice if it was used in the cooking. The food was good, not a great variety as someone else said but they're probably trying to find out what works, with so many different travellers from everywhere. The breakfasts were absolutely great, we loved the egg hoppers. I mark the rating down for cleanliness as our room wasn't made at all during the entire stay. It was disappointing to realise that when we came back from a safari in the evening on day 2. The next day I asked if the room could be made, thinking someone forgot and might even get in trouble for it. I was told yes it would be done but again, the room wasn't done at all. Surely, the room should be cleaned on a daily basis, there is even a sign for it on the door. That was the only downside all in all! Highly recommended, and I wish Gal Oya retreat all the best, given it is a very new enterprise.

Keeping in mind this is a 3 star hotel, the positives are the rooms are big with a balcony looking out at amazing views (ours anyway), and the pool is clean and quite big also with amazing views and a concrete elephant water feature!!! The location of the hotel is pretty good too - far enough from other properties to be quiet but close enough to Ella main drag that you can walk in 10-15 minutes or pay a tuk tuk driver double the rate of Colombo to get to and from. The big negative for us was that despite being told upon checking in that the room would be cleaned every day, it was not. And I was told the reason why was that we didn’t hand in our key for it to be done - which seems bizarre after staying in hotels for decades and not being told to or having to hand in a key in order to get a standard daily room clean. The insinuation that it was our fault for not handing in a key (not that we were told to do so on checking in) was extremely irritating. Food was ok but overpriced so we ate elsewhere (lots of options). There were lots of little things in the rooms that could be easily addressed to make them nicer - definitely not having ripped old bath towels, and removing an empty TV bracket from the wall (like a TV used to be there but not anymore - or was it just our room, who knows). All these little things add up to I really think the room rate is too high - but we are here in the high season so maybe that’s just the going rate.

J’ai apprécié l’emplacement un peu à l’écart de la grande avenue, mais il est vrai que le soir la rue est sombre. La chambre est grande avec un grand balcon, la literie est confortable. Par contre je n’ai pas aimé que le petit déjeuner soit mentionné et qu’on m’ait averti la veille qu’il ne le servaient pas sans même trouver d’alternative. Le wifi n’est pas du tout stable et la communication avec le gérant est presque inexistante. On ne m’a jamais répondu ni pour le petit déjeuner ni pour le wifi

Приехали уставшими и не в духе, но нас так душевно встретили, что настроение поднялось сразу. Хозяева напоили чаем, пообщались по-домашнему – чувствуешь себя не клиентом, а желанным гостем. Отель на вершине горы, и из каждого номера – выход на террасу с потрясающим видом. Утром просыпаешься – а перед тобой только горы и тишина. Номер чистый, уютный, всё продумано до мелочей. Завтрак готовили специально под наши предпочтения: свежие фрукты, яичница, тосты, даже смузи! Персонал не формально вежливый, а по-настоящему добрый. Если хотите не просто переночевать, а почувствовать заботу и отдохнуть душой – это точно ваше место. Хочется вернуться снова и всем рекомендовать. Огромное спасибо хозяевам за такую атмосферу!

En haut des montagnes ! La maison est magnifique, tout est neuf, le lit est confortable ! J'ai particulièrement adoré la terrasse privée avec sa vue imprenable sur les montagnes et le temple ! Il pleuvait et il y avait du brouillard le soir, mais le soleil brille le matin, et quel que soit le temps, c'est un endroit splendide !

Il est un peu haut sur une colline, mais la vue de mon balcon était magnifique. Il est aussi juste de la rue principale, donc si vous ne vous en souvenez pas du trajet et du déplacement vous êtes encore relativement bien situé à proximité des bars et restaurants et magasins des bagpackers. Le petit déjeuner a eu beaucoup d'options locales sri-lankaines que j'apprécie beaucoup, et le personnel était également heureux d'expliquer chaque repas aux nouveaux arrivants. Une petite partie de conseils pour l'équipe : peut-être engager quelques employées ? Comme une femme voyageant seule, l'une des premières choses que j'ai notée était le personnel masculin tout-major, ou au moins, je n'ai pas vu une seule femme travaillant là dans mon séjour 2-night. Je n'ai pas de problème avec ça, mais les voyageurs de plus jeunes femmes solitaires pourraient être involontairement effrayés
