ZZhongzhanPour être honnête, l'emplacement de l'hôtel est de premier ordre, juste sur le lac Lewis, très beau. Mais il y a quelques points qui ne me satisfont pas, ce qui enlève des points à l'expérience globale du séjour. Parlons d'abord du repas. Le serveur est venu demander ”Comment puis-je vous aider ?” 8 fois au total pendant le repas. Il était trop attentionné. Deuxièmement, le jour de notre départ, nous sommes partis en excursion et l'un des arrêts était le lac Lewis. L'enfant n'a pas pu s'empêcher de mouiller son pantalon, alors nous avons demandé à entrer et à acheter un pantalon pour nous changer. Cependant, comme l'hôtel était complet, tous les clients qui arrivaient par avion n'ont pas été autorisés à entrer. J'ai dit que nous avions quitté l'hôtel il y a 3 heures et ils ont finalement accepté.

IInvitéWe stayed at Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff from March 26–29 with my 7-year-old daughter, and overall we had a great experience.
Check-in was simple and straightforward. We arrived in the early evening, and Jason at the front desk was the most approachable and helpful hotel staff member I have ever dealt with. He remembered my daughter’s name, greeted her every day, checked in with us throughout our stay, and added little touches that made the trip feel extra special for both of us.
The renovated room itself was fairly standard for a hotel room, but comfortable. Our room had two queen beds, which worked well for us. The bathroom had a shower only, with no bathtub, but that was not an issue. The pillows were big and lumpy, all 8 of the pillows in our room were too high/tall for my daughter to use comfortably. There are robes provided in the room, it would be a nice touch if they could also provide kids size robes. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee, and kettle with tea provided in the room.
We ordered room service one night and tried the pulled pork poutine, which was the daily special from the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not very good, and I would not recommend it.
The TV included free cable and on-demand programming, as well as pay-per-view movies. I had brought my laptop and an HDMI cord, and we were able to connect it to the TV easily to watch our own movies. Watching on-demand, my daughter discovered The Simpsons and loved it (lol)
The pool area was a big highlight for us. The pool is salt water rather than chlorine. The water itself was on the cooler side, but there was also a good-sized hot tub and a large steam room. My daughter quickly made friends with another family staying at the hotel, and the kids spent multiple hours a day in the pool together.
The gym was small but functional. In the four days we were there, it was empty every time we walked by.
Parking is $20 per day, which does add up. There is also free street parking behind the hotel if you are able to find a spot.
One fun feature in the lobby was the robot, which the kids absolutely loved. We were told that after construction is complete, it will be delivering items to guest rooms. During our stay it moved around the lobby, told jokes, and handed out free apples.
The hotel was reasonably priced compared with other options in the area. I chose it specifically for the pool setup, knowing we would be spending a lot of time there, and it worked out really well for that. Shops and restaurants on the main street were about a 10-minute walk away, or you could take the bus that stops outside the neighboring hotel for $2 per ride, with kids riding free.
I would definitely stay here again in the future. The price, location, rooms, and pool make this a very family-friendly hotel option in Banff.

IInvitéService was fine, they gave us warm cookies upon arrival and check out. The pool and fitness rooms were clean, and the rooms were tidy, though they were a bit dark from lack of lighting.
A couple of things to note: the mattresses were extremely soft (even as someone who prefers soft mattresses), it felt like I was slowly sinking into the floor. The soundproofing is also quite weak, so I would recommend sleeping with earplugs or it may be hard to sleep with guests running around.
One more thing to note was that the balcony door was not locked when we checked in. Since we are on the 7th floor it was safe, however next time I would double check just in case, because there are many people visiting the hotel for functions and events.

IInvitéC'est la quatrième fois que nous séjournons dans cet hôtel. Tout est impeccable ! Cette fois-ci, nous avons eu une chambre au 4e étage, avec moquette neuve, smart TV et double miroir dans la salle de bain ! Génial ! Les matelas et la literie sont parfaits ! Et la piscine avec toboggans pour enfants, c'est tout simplement parfait !

Les propriétaires ont également fait une grande amélioration dans la rénovation récente.
Le bar est fermé pendant un certain temps mais pas annoncé lors de la réservation! C'est un ski resort et nous avons voyageu en grand groupe (4 chambres) avec des adolescents et des enfants de groupe d'âge mixte, donc un bar est critique pour nous!
Le fait que le bar principal soit fermé et que les boissons à ski aprés n'aient pas dû être annoncées au bar.
Je n'ai été informé par courriel que après que la période d'annulation gratuite était terminée, ce qui signifie que je perds de l'argent si je annule et plus de cela sera difficile à trouver ailleurs !
Je n'ai découvert qu'après un courriel de l'hôtel quelques semaines avant de check-in! Lorsque j'ai contesté la gestion par courriel, j'ai été informé que la zone du bar a été déplacée au restaurant, je dis que c'est inacceptable et que la fermeture du bar aurait dû être annoncée lors de la réservation ... a été dit ci-dessus, et un regret et ensuite ignoré !
Pas idéal, car le restaurant n'est pas un bar - plus donc il était assez étrange d'avoir des boissons au-dessus et plus si quelques personnes commencent à venir à dîner ou le restaurant commence à se mettre en place pour le buffet.
La gestion a offert un crédit à certains de mon parti, mais pas à moi et n'a pas ignoré ma préoccupation.
Je ne veux pas prendre le bon vide positif de l'hôtel si je voudrais grandir
1) personnel de réception - toujours grand avec un sourire
2) garde de maison - un grand travail
3) personnel du restaurant - amical et souriant (même si difficile à gérer un bar et un restaurant) dans le même endroit
4) une superbe piscine rénovée

IInvitéExpérience incroyable. L'hôtel offre non seulement d'excellentes prestations, mais il se montre également très attentif à vos demandes, dans la mesure du possible. J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'accès aux salles affaires, au salon et au restaurant. Le service de navette aéroport gratuit est un vrai plus et facilite grandement les déplacements. J'ai été très touché par l'accueil, la patience et la disponibilité du personnel de la réception.

IInvitéWe chose this hotel at random while driving down the highway. We were VERY glad that we did. The following day, we kept congratulating ourselves on the great choice.
It was very easy easy to get to off the highway. But yet it was protected from the busy highway noise.
The staff were absolutely 5-Star. Every single individual that we encountered, both hotel and restaurant, seemed to be genuinely friendly and professional. Specail shout-out to: Jei, Jasmeen, and Maltin. ( hopefully i got the correct names)
We used the pool in the evening, and it was a surprisingly nice facility for the price of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed it until an excessively noisy family showed up with undisciplined kids. But that's not on the hotel.
I don't know why the restaurant was empty because it was exceptionally good food and good service. Even the breakfast buffet was far above most free breakfasts that are on offer.
The guestrooms were very quiet (even the a/c fan was quiet). Beds were comfortable. Good quality linens, pillows and towels. Beds were especially comfortable and seemed new. Carpet looked new.
The only thing I might suggest for the rooms is that they might add a floor lamp to improve the lighting. Also, they might think about bringing up the quality of bathroom amenities to current trend in higher quality in larger affixed bottles instead of small disposables
It's obvious that they're gradually upgrading an older property and haven't gotten to the hallway paint yet. But that doesn't affect the guestrooms experience.
I highly recommend this property.
