Pour être honnête, l'emplacement de l'hôtel est de premier ordre, juste sur le lac Lewis, très beau. Mais il y a quelques points qui ne me satisfont pas, ce qui enlève des points à l'expérience globale du séjour. Parlons d'abord du repas. Le serveur est venu demander ”Comment puis-je vous aider ?” 8 fois au total pendant le repas. Il était trop attentionné. Deuxièmement, le jour de notre départ, nous sommes partis en excursion et l'un des arrêts était le lac Lewis. L'enfant n'a pas pu s'empêcher de mouiller son pantalon, alors nous avons demandé à entrer et à acheter un pantalon pour nous changer. Cependant, comme l'hôtel était complet, tous les clients qui arrivaient par avion n'ont pas été autorisés à entrer. J'ai dit que nous avions quitté l'hôtel il y a 3 heures et ils ont finalement accepté.

We stayed at Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff from March 26–29 with my 7-year-old daughter, and overall we had a great experience. Check-in was simple and straightforward. We arrived in the early evening, and Jason at the front desk was the most approachable and helpful hotel staff member I have ever dealt with. He remembered my daughter’s name, greeted her every day, checked in with us throughout our stay, and added little touches that made the trip feel extra special for both of us. The renovated room itself was fairly standard for a hotel room, but comfortable. Our room had two queen beds, which worked well for us. The bathroom had a shower only, with no bathtub, but that was not an issue. The pillows were big and lumpy, all 8 of the pillows in our room were too high/tall for my daughter to use comfortably. There are robes provided in the room, it would be a nice touch if they could also provide kids size robes. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee, and kettle with tea provided in the room. We ordered room service one night and tried the pulled pork poutine, which was the daily special from the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not very good, and I would not recommend it. The TV included free cable and on-demand programming, as well as pay-per-view movies. I had brought my laptop and an HDMI cord, and we were able to connect it to the TV easily to watch our own movies. Watching on-demand, my daughter discovered The Simpsons and loved it (lol) The pool area was a big highlight for us. The pool is salt water rather than chlorine. The water itself was on the cooler side, but there was also a good-sized hot tub and a large steam room. My daughter quickly made friends with another family staying at the hotel, and the kids spent multiple hours a day in the pool together. The gym was small but functional. In the four days we were there, it was empty every time we walked by. Parking is $20 per day, which does add up. There is also free street parking behind the hotel if you are able to find a spot. One fun feature in the lobby was the robot, which the kids absolutely loved. We were told that after construction is complete, it will be delivering items to guest rooms. During our stay it moved around the lobby, told jokes, and handed out free apples. The hotel was reasonably priced compared with other options in the area. I chose it specifically for the pool setup, knowing we would be spending a lot of time there, and it worked out really well for that. Shops and restaurants on the main street were about a 10-minute walk away, or you could take the bus that stops outside the neighboring hotel for $2 per ride, with kids riding free. I would definitely stay here again in the future. The price, location, rooms, and pool make this a very family-friendly hotel option in Banff. Biggest thank you to Jason at the front desk for the spectacular service we enjoyed.

Très bonne location. Facile à atteindre. Beau vue, personnel amiable. Très proche de l'ascenseur, un peu bruyant. Et les lits sont vieux et pas très confortables.

L'entrée était rapide, la chambre était propre, les feuilles étaient douces, la pression de douche était étonnante, le petit déjeuner était solide, un séjour en général très bon.

C'est ma deuxième visite cette fois qu'il était parfait ils l'ont rénovée puisque je marche dans des odeurs très propres et fraîches la nourriture de maison très utile et gentille Le buffet pour dîner incroyable cuisine indienne sur toutes les expériences très belles, en particulier dans la piscine

Séjour parfait, chambre spacieuse et impeccable, grand lit king-size très confortable, accueil chaleureux à la réception pour l'arrivée et le départ, produits de toilette Crabtree & Evelyn au parfum délicieux, serviettes, miroir en pied, coffre-fort, machine à café, etc. tout était inclus. Des cookies offerts à l'arrivée, un vrai régal ! Réponse rapide à notre e-mail, la chambre a été réservée malgré notre arrivée très tardive. Parking gratuit, à 15 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport de Calgary. Navette disponible à 5 $. C'est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons dans cet hôtel et il deviendra sans aucun doute notre adresse de prédilection lors de nos voyages en avion ! Trip.com proposait le meilleur prix après réduction, super !

Mon mari, mon fils et moi avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. Son emplacement est idéal, à proximité des restaurants, du centre-ville et de l'aéroport. L'hôtel est très propre, tout comme notre chambre et la salle de bain. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le parc aquatique, la piscine et le jacuzzi étaient un atout majeur, particulièrement apprécié par mon fils de 7 ans. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour nous garer. Pour plus de sécurité, l'ascenseur fonctionne également avec la carte magnétique de la chambre. Je recommande cet hôtel. Cependant, la chambre ne disposait pas de micro-ondes et le petit-déjeuner n'est pas inclus.

The room is spacious for 4 of us, very clean and modern. The lodge is very close to the downtown, we enjoyed walking everyday to explore the city center. The indoor pool is always busy, and our room location is very far from the pool so we didn’t try the pool, but I was happy enough to have a hot tub every night in our room after the activities. The view from our room is also beautiful especially when it snows. The lodge has a spa, a hair salon, an a ski shop. I checked the price of the gloves at their shop is very reasonable. The parking garage is very convenient (although we have to pay for it). The breakfast is good with reasonable price for kids. Some front desk staffs (one Filipino lady and one local) were not friendly but most of the staffs were nice and helpful. Easy check in and check out, they provided pre-check in via whatsapp and always checked us if we need anything.

The bed was much too hard. The air conditioning unit kept switching itself from warm to freezing even though I had it on the heat-only setting. The housekeeping team tried to come in and clean my room 45mins before I was scheduled to check-out. Then my keycard was deactivated 10 minutes before checkout time so I was locked out when I returned from breakfast and had to go down to the front desk to get it fixed. The first lady at reception said she’d reactivated my keycard, so I went back upstairs and was still locked out, and the elevator was far too slow and I didn’t want to get penalised for checking out late, so I had to walk down the stairs (which were very difficult to find!) then a second lady gave me a different, new keycard to get back into my room, then I had to walk back up the stairs again and was finally able to get my luggage and check out. Overall it was a pretty bad experience.

We chose this hotel at random while driving down the highway. We were VERY glad that we did. The following day, we kept congratulating ourselves on the great choice. It was very easy easy to get to off the highway. But yet it was protected from the busy highway noise. The staff were absolutely 5-Star. Every single individual that we encountered, both hotel and restaurant, seemed to be genuinely friendly and professional. Specail shout-out to: Jei, Jasmeen, and Maltin. ( hopefully i got the correct names) We used the pool in the evening, and it was a surprisingly nice facility for the price of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed it until an excessively noisy family showed up with undisciplined kids. But that's not on the hotel. I don't know why the restaurant was empty because it was exceptionally good food and good service. Even the breakfast buffet was far above most free breakfasts that are on offer. The guestrooms were very quiet (even the a/c fan was quiet). Beds were comfortable. Good quality linens, pillows and towels. Beds were especially comfortable and seemed new. Carpet looked new. The only thing I might suggest for the rooms is that they might add a floor lamp to improve the lighting. Also, they might think about bringing up the quality of bathroom amenities to current trend in higher quality in larger affixed bottles instead of small disposables It's obvious that they're gradually upgrading an older property and haven't gotten to the hallway paint yet. But that doesn't affect the guestrooms experience. I highly recommend this property.
