This was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room. The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger. My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic. I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

We stayed for one night at Yingjia Jinling Grand Hotel, Huoshan, traveling as a three-generation family—my wife, our 3- and 5-year-old daughters, and two grandparents. Tucked away in a small mountain county in Anhui, the property turned out to be an unexpected find. What stands out immediately is the price-to-quality contrast: standard rates run on the order of one-fifth to one-twentieth of what a comparable international luxury five-star would charge, depending on the specific brand and city, yet the hardware and execution make no compromises. The room build-out is benchmarked directly to international five-star standards. In-room systems: the smart bidet toilet, automated curtains, and intuitive lighting controls, are on par with top-tier properties in Beijing, Shanghai, or Guangzhou, with no discernible difference. Even the smaller amenity details show uncommon care; the hotel stocks dental floss picks in the bathroom, a practical touch that many luxury properties skip entirely. Overall service was attentive and thorough. If I had to point out any shortcomings, there is no mini-bar in the room, and the in-room coffee is instant rather than freshly brewed. Beyond the room, the area immediately surrounding the hotel added another surprising dimension that made this small mountain county feel like even more of an unexpected find. Just outside the property, the surrounding complex features a large musical fountain, open-air cultural and stage performances, and a dedicated snack street that comes alive at night with barbecue and beer. Having lived in the United States, I had never seen this much vibrancy gathered around a hotel, and it gave us an effortless, enjoyable way to spend the evening together. (Imagine Bellagio but 1/10 the crowd)  The standout feature of our stay was the family room, which was exceptionally kid-friendly. Instead of token gestures, the room came equipped with thoughtful amenities tailored to traveling with young children. Inside, the kids were happily at play with a little alpaca-styled toy car. The hotel also sent up snacks alongside a small gift, brought by an actual robot. In the bathroom, they provided dedicated children’s slippers, children’s toiletries, an adapted toilet seat ring, and a small step stool so our girls could reach the sink and wash their hands by themselves. They even included a small night light, which came in handy, as the little ones are genuinely afraid of the dark. It is rare to see a hotel anticipate the practical logistics of a family stay this thoroughly, especially in a quiet county setting. Yingjia Jinling Grand Hotel is a genuine hidden gem in Huoshan, and I recommend it without hesitation.

J'y suis allé uniquement pour la source chaude extérieure emblématique de l'hôtel, mais j'ai fini par être impressionné par la chambre. J'avais initialement réservé une chambre Flower Realm et une chambre Painting Realm, mais le propriétaire m'a gentiment surclassé dans une chambre Stream Realm, qui se trouve en face de la chambre Painting Realm, ce qui me permet d'entrer et de sortir facilement avec ma famille. La chambre offre une vue à 270 degrés sur la montagne. Lorsque vous vous réveillez le matin, la pièce est pleine de soleil. Vous pouvez également voir le pic Tiandu au loin sur la droite. Les équipements de la chambre sont très élégants et presque impeccables. Le patron a dépensé 28 millions pour le construire et le décorer, et a embauché un designer étranger. Debout sur le balcon la nuit, vous pouvez voir le ciel plein d'étoiles. La nuit est très calme et le ruisseau qui coule à l'extérieur de la fenêtre est comme une berceuse. Le petit déjeuner est également très riche et les nouilles sont incroyables. Nous avons commandé quatre plats pour le dîner, et le coût par personne était supérieur à 100. Le seul inconvénient, ce sont les sources chaudes. Nous sommes arrivés vers 17h et avons dû attendre une heure que l'hôtel se prépare. La piscine thermale se trouve à l'arrière de la colline. Il n’y a probablement pas beaucoup de touristes. La source chaude est temporairement chauffée et l'eau n'est pas assez chaude pour profiter du bain. Après avoir contacté la réception via WeChat, ils ont immédiatement augmenté la température de l'eau. L’inconvénient est qu’il n’y a pas de vestiaire à côté de la piscine thermale. Après m'être baigné dans la source chaude, il faisait encore un peu froid de marcher des dizaines de mètres sur la route de montagne pour revenir à la chambre en peignoir. Heureusement, après être retourné dans la chambre, le restaurant a immédiatement livré quelques tasses de thé chaud au gingembre pour réchauffer le corps, ce qui était vraiment touchant. Avant de partir, ils nous ont également offert des souvenirs de spécialité de Huangshan, ce qui montre leur sincérité. Il faut environ 22 minutes en voiture depuis la ville de Tangkou, Huangshan jusqu'à l'hôtel. L'hôtel peut également se rendre à la gare de Tangkou pour être récupéré, ce qui est très pratique. Cet endroit est particulièrement adapté aux sorties en famille. En été, vous pouvez également faire du rafting, vous rapprocher de la nature, explorer la nature sauvage et ressentir la beauté. Cela vaut vraiment la peine. Je reviendrai si j'en ai l'occasion ! recommander!

For a three-diamond hotel charging almost 400 CNY per night, I expected a little more attention to detail. The room itself was spacious, clean, and tidy, with a large panoramic window overlooking a pleasant row of trees. There was also a nice tea table, which made the room feel cozy. One detail I genuinely appreciated was the care given to the old tree in the garden. Seeing it supported with an IV drip system was both unusual and heartwarming—it showed that someone actually cares about preserving it instead of simply replacing it. However, a surprising number of small issues gradually added up and affected the overall experience. I booked a room with a bathtub, but the bathtub turned out to be rather small and leaked unless a disposable plastic liner was used. There were no bath salts, bubble bath, or any other bath amenities, while the shampoo and shower gel bottles were only 50 ml each. The room initially had only one 1.5-liter bottle of drinking water. I had to call the front desk to ask for regular 500 ml bottles and tea. There was neither tea nor coffee in the room upon arrival. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. There was almost no meat except pork baozi. Boiled eggs were available, but there were no traditional soy-marinated eggs. On the positive side, the purple sweet baozi were delicious, and the sliced melon was excellent—the rind had been completely removed, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, two of the three desserts were stale and overly dry, and some cherry tomatoes still had black spots around the stems. The biggest issue, however, was coffee—or rather, the complete absence of it. There was no coffee in the room, and there was no coffee at breakfast. In fact, breakfast didn't even include tea or plain drinking water. I honestly didn't expect that the rarest item at a hotel breakfast buffet would be... water. For someone staying in a smoking room, a cup of coffee is one of those small pleasures that makes the morning better. Unfortunately, that small pleasure never arrived. Maybe coffee is considered a luxury item here. Overall, the hotel has good potential thanks to its spacious and clean rooms. But hospitality is often about the little things, and this hotel missed quite a few of them. I would consider staying here again only if these service details are improved.

A Little Gem in Huangshan, with Hospitality We Will Never Forget The Bamboo Hotel was one of the most wonderful surprises of our trip. From the very first moment, we found a warm, elegant, and beautifully designed atmosphere, with every detail carefully thought out. It is a true little gem, a charming design hotel where everything reflects taste, care, and attention. But what truly makes this place special are the people. The owner and his entire family are incredibly kind and genuine people. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, looked after, and truly cared for. Their sincere hospitality made our stay even more memorable. They helped us from the very beginning, arranging a driver for us, carefully explaining how to organize our excursion to Huangshan Mountain, and even suggesting what we could do the following day. The owner’s father was so kind that he personally accompanied us to the bus station so we could reach the mountain. Every evening there was always a thoughtful gesture waiting for us: a drink offered after dinner, a coffee, a friendly conversation, and above all, the feeling of being guests of a family rather than simply customers of a hotel. We had a truly wonderful stay and will never forget the hospitality we received. This is a place we wholeheartedly recommend, and we sincerely hope to return one day.

Huangshan descendit, je voulais venir à la ville de Qiang, le coucher dit si fatigué, je devais vivre un meilleur hôtel, j'ai vu plusieurs fois, je voulais réserver cette maison, enfin je voulais persuader le coucher, après tout, trop de rayons populaires, il est un peu effrayé. L'environnement est bon accident, le lavabo est très grand, les lits sont très secs et le climatisation est assez forte. Il est louable que la cuisine de l'hôtel tante ait fait elle-même, des matériaux réels, une bonne santé, un bon rapport coût-efficacité, la soupe de poulet que j'ai estimé avoir bu 6 tasses. Le patron est venu consulter notre goût, super. L'hôtel est juste à côté du village de Liu. Le patron a indiqué la route avec enthousiasme. Il est à deux ou trois minutes de route pour Siemen. Il a pensé à faire un compliment avant de partir. Puis à 12 heures, je dois aller à l'autobus à Xiqiang, le patron nous a conduit en paix à la gare de passagers, il est loin de là, le patron dit que nous avons peur que nous soyons trop chauds et que les bonnes personnes soient en sécurité toute la vie. Le service est excellent. Ensuite, j'ai envoyé un sac de barbecue, et le sac de barbecue est tombé à la moitié de la route. Triste 💔 Vous avez la possibilité de venir à Chen Chen village, vous choisissez toujours ici. Bien sûr, vous aimez aussi le Sichuan, haha haha!

Équipements : On dirait bien que c'est l'hôtel le plus récent et le mieux équipé du Mont Huangshan. Bien que la chambre soit petite, elle a tout ce qu'il faut, et le canapé-lit permet à une personne supplémentaire de dormir. Propreté : Très propre. Environnement : Un environnement de standard cinq étoiles, excellent. Service : Le service de conciergerie 24h/24 est impeccable, ils répondent à toutes les demandes. À 23h, mon enfant a été piqué et nous avons appelé l'hôtel pour demander un répulsif, il nous a été livré très rapidement, excellent. On nous a recommandé un itinéraire et une carte, et même si nous n'avons pas pu voir le lever ou le coucher du soleil à cause de la pluie, nous avons vu la mer de nuages, ce qui était une chance. Goûter de l'Anhui pour deux : Les pâtisseries étaient délicieuses, et l'activité ”Dian Cha” a permis aux enfants d'apprendre des choses intéressantes. En résumé, pour un séjour au Mont Huangshan, je recommande vivement le Beihai.

À mon avis, les hôtels InterContinental sont tous plus anciens et, désormais, lorsque je voyage, j'ai tendance à choisir des B&B distinctifs ou des hôtels étoilés qui viennent d'ouvrir. Cette fois, je suis passé par Hefei, et comme l'endroit où je devais me rendre était proche de l'Intercontinental, je n'ai signalé aucun enregistrement surprise. Nana, la sœur de la réception, avait un doux sourire et était très polie. Elle a pris l'initiative de surclasser la chambre. Au cours de la conversation, elle a appris que nous n'avions pas réservé le petit-déjeuner à l'hôtel car nous devions prendre un vol tôt, alors. elle a pris l'initiative de nous informer que le petit-déjeuner commencerait à 6h30 et nous le donnerait gratuitement. Après une nuit bien remplie, nous sommes allés à l'hôtel pour commander une collation de fin de soirée. La sœur de la réception était déjà sortie du travail (il était après minuit). Nous l'avons informée que les plats à emporter que nous avions commandés étaient arrivés et lui avons demandé. pour le livrer. Ce n'est qu'à ce moment-là que nous avons découvert qu'elle avait déjà quitté le travail, mais elle a immédiatement répondu et lui a demandé de livrer des plats à emporter à la porte de la chambre. Bien que les installations de l'hôtel soient relativement anciennes, la propreté est tout à fait à la hauteur et le service méticuleux me donne la détermination de choisir l'InterContinental la prochaine fois que j'irai à Hefei.
