Beautiful old manor house with adjoining buildings for bedrooms. Very comfortable bedrooms and excellent breakfast. Friendly , helpful staff. Beautiful grounds to walk around and very good gym and pool. Excellent value for the quality on offer

J'étais en séjour à l'hôtel en raison d'une réunion d'affaires importante le lendemain, malheureusement mon sommeil a été brisé à 2h avec un avertissement de feu qui s'arrête en raison d'autres clients de l'hôtel, j'attendais un remboursement de quelque sorte ou un rabais de mon séjour suivant comme j'ai L'hôtel a été utilisé pour rester pour des affaires de nombreuses fois avant mais rien n'a été offert et l'interruption de mon sommeil a affecté ma réunion d'affaires le lendemain, très déçu de la façon dont cela a été géré.

Le 2e jour, nous avons été amoureux de la place, tous les personnels de toutes les sections étaient brillants. La piscine intérieure, la piscine extérieure, 2 saunas, la piscine de plongée de glace, les courts de tennis, l'orchard et la zone de jeu pour enfants. Le restaurant principal dispose d'un buffet avec environ 30 options, vous pourriez essayer un peu de tout. Enfin, je vais juste mentionner que mon partenaire a eu quelques traitements dans le spa et a dit qu'elle avait une excellente expérience.

Disappointing experience. I booked a room expecting a double bed and bathtub but it turned out the only rooms with bathtubs had single beds. After having a room changed, the room I was given hadn’t been cleaned so I had to change for a third time. The amenities are limited. When asking for a razor, they didn’t have but also couldn’t tell me where to buy one nearby (There’s a terminal next to it with a boots and WH Smith, surely that’s not hard to say). Not sure about things such as toothbrushes and toothpaste but maybe that’s because I live in Asia? The French restaurant was just as disappointing, they failed to provide me the full dinner that was offered on the menu. On the plus side, the third room I had was clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff in the French restaurant were also excellent.

Booked due to close proximity to the friends place that we were visiting. Beautiful place with great surroundings, very atmospheric during Christmas season. Room was quite basic.

Lovely hotel, the location is great as it is a few minutes away from the shopping centre. Me and my husband came for a weekend away and we loved that we could just walk to the shops. The kfc and McDonald’s is a few minutes away too. The room itself was nice, it had the usual stuff, iron, tea and coffee etc. The bathtub was super small, if you are plus size, you will struggle to lay in the bath but it’s not a big problem. The staff were very friendly, we even got given a cookie upon arrival and they kindly gave us a complimentary 1 hour free extra time for check out (we paid £20 for the rest of the hours). Overall a lovely hotel.

4 stay here and it’s always a lovely place to stay but the prices are a bit too much.

We arrived early however the receptionist was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early, we had booked a twin room as we couldn't see a double room available however the lady changed us to a double room with such ease. Hotel is very clean, room was a very good size and we even saw Deer outside our room in the morning. We used the pool area, the staff were very attentive even lending us a pound coin so we could use the lockers. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

La chambre est propre et confortable avec toutes les installations habituelles. Lieutenant spa et piscine - également un gym que je n'ai pas utilisé. Je ne peux pas vraiment commenter sur le service puisque je n'ai vu que brièvement quelqu'un à l'arrivée, mais elle était très agréable. Un restaurant mais je n'y ai pas mangé. Bon endroit pour voyager à Londres le lendemain. Question mineure : les serviettes de bain sont un peu petites et minces (et je ne suis pas une grande dame!)
