I stayed here with my mom for one night, and we were both very impressed. The value for money was excellent, and the room actually exceeded my expectations—it looked even better in real life than in the photos. We had a beautiful view from the window, and the location was perfect: quiet, yet only a two-minute walk to the beach. Same for bus stop to Chania. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom, and it was equipped with everything we needed. It felt more like a small apartment, complete with a kitchen and a spacious balcony where we really enjoyed spending time. We liked it so much that we even wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately the rooms were already fully booked for our dates. Overall, a wonderful experience and a place I would definitely recommend.

Le spa - hammam, sauna et piscine intérieure (1m de profondeur quand même ?!) est le meilleur atout de l'hôtel. Cependant, il n'y a pas d'accès à la plage, j'ai donc dû aller à Nea Hora et Golden Beach. Les chambres - trop petites, manque d'espace de rangement, boutons complexes et console inutilement compliquée. C'était calme même si j'avais une chambre au 2ème étage. La signalisation générale de l'hôtel est également déroutante. Les lits et oreillers - immenses et confortables. La nourriture - excellente. Le massage correct. Les articles de toilette bons. Seules les vues frontales donnent sur la mer, mais elles coûtent 10 fois plus cher ! Sinon, ce sont des vues sur les poubelles ! 😤 Le petit-déjeuner à la carte - trop lent, on mange moins, il y a toujours un malentendu… et après avoir commandé, on vous retire le menu… La piscine sur le toit - une arnaque ! Les transats sont toujours occupés et il faut réserver pour voir le coucher de soleil 🙄 il y a un autre toit au 7ème étage mais après 10 minutes on a envie de partir, car il n'y a pas de douches, de piscine, de toilettes ou de bar… Le personnel est jeune, faussement poli, trop lent et peu réactif - visiblement formé pour certains types de clients (culturalement inexpérimentés). Ainsi, même pour obtenir un casier au spa, il fallait attendre qu'on vous explique comment le déverrouiller (et passer un test ?!), alors qu'il y a deux personnes à la réception. Mes capsules de café, édulcorant et thés n'ont pas été remplacés le lendemain matin lors du ménage et un verre sale n'a pas été lavé. La piscine du balcon est minuscule et a accumulé beaucoup de peluches de la rue, de plus je ne me sentais pas à l'aise de l'utiliser car elle était visible de la rue et du bâtiment d'en face. On m'a aussi appelée à 21h30 (je dormais ?!) pour vérifier si j'étais satisfaite d'un massage gratuit de 30 minutes (en raison de la mauvaise vue de la chambre)… 🤷🏼♀️ Je comprends que c'est un nouvel hôtel et qu'ils font de leur mieux, mais j'ai aussi payé plus de 800 € pour deux nuits et j'ai été frustrée pendant 50 % de mon séjour… 😒 J'ai fréquenté un lycée hôtelier, travaillé comme masseuse, et aussi travaillé dans des hôtels 5 étoiles à Chania il y a 30 ans, mais depuis j'ai séjourné dans une multitude d'hôtels 4 et 5 étoiles dans le monde entier. Surtout en Asie où le service est irréprochable. Par conséquent, tout cela est inacceptable pour un prix aussi élevé. Oui, la boisson de bienvenue est agréable, tout comme le massage gratuit, mais vous devriez faire mieux, Hilton !

We stayed here for 4 nights. I had booked a sea view room, but they said it was upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi. While the jacuzzi was nice and relaxing, the sea view was quite limited, which was a bit disappointing. The property is located in a remote and peaceful part of the island. It has excellent internet access and a decent outdoor gym. Since it is right by the sea, you can enjoy walking or running along the coast to the nearest town, Mavrikianon. One important thing to mention is that the property does not have direct access to the sea. To swim, you need to go to either Plaka Beach, which requires a minimum spend of €40 per person to use the sunbeds, or to Mavrikianon Beach, which is much more affordable at €5 per person for the entire day. Mavrikianon Beach is very pleasant and close to markets where you can buy drinks. There are also some good food and drink spots nearby, such as Rudi’s Bar, a British-style pub, and Porto Rino, which serves great pizzas. Make sure to skip Nico’s Fish Tavern and try the Ferryman instead — you won’t regret it. What we found most frustrating was the lack of mosquito screens on the windows. Sleeping with the windows open was not really an option, even though the natural breeze was wonderful. Our room had air conditioning, but we tend to get sick sleeping with it on. There was a ceiling fan as well, but it is a shame to miss out on the fresh air simply because of a missing screen. The breakfast was also a disappointment. There were very few options, the coffee was not good, and the omelettes were overcooked. The most inconvenient part of our stay was the parking system. You have to check in and out with security every time, which felt excessive and time-consuming. It gave the impression of entering a high-security zone, not a relaxing holiday resort. Overall, it was a good experience with some nice features, but for the price, it lacks comfort and convenience in a few key areas. .

Il n'y avait pas de saison de pointe, peut-être parce que le personnel n'était pas si préparé. Les personnes qui se sont montrées occupées par le téléphone ou par les autres, ma porte avait des problèmes, vous avez besoin de compétences pour l'ouvrir, le chauffeur de bus de la navette a passé cinq minutes à l'ouvrir. Les restaurants étaient amis, équitables, le restaurant de buffet était très agréable, cuisine diverse et délicieuse. Le restaurant de la mer a servi un menu, pour lequel j'ai eu des attentes élevées puisque je n'ai été autorisé à remplacer qu'un buffet pour un restaurant la cart. La nourriture elle-même était juste, bien que sursaisonnée (pour moi, trop salée), et deux ou trois plats seront servis en même temps et honnêtement, ils n'étaient même pas chauds. La chambre était très efficace et la chambre était toujours propre. La piscine privée était belle, pensait qu'elle était froide et ventée maintenant. Vérifiez donc le temps avant de partir, les jours soleils et les pluies sont une expérience totalement différente. La plage de l'hôtel était belle, mais encore une fois, je n'ai pas eu mon cocktail Paloma après avoir attendu une demi-heure. Ils ont fourni des spectacles intéressants à la soirée , je l'ai malheureusement manqué mais vous avez besoin d'un regard, l'auteur est assez passionné. Et sur le transport, vous pouvez choisir soit le pick-up de l'hôtel qui est coûteux mais confortable, soit le bus local ( je l'ai choisi KTEL, il est très confortable mais veuillez vérifier le calendrier sur le site). Ce lieu est loin d'être où, vous pouvez utiliser un supermarché voisin qui a tout à un prix juste. J'ai pas eu le plaisir de me joindre à cette fois, en raison de mes affaires personnelles, j'espère que vous avez un bon temps là-bas!

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or a base to explore Crete, The Royal Senses delivers on every front. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the island, with easy access to nearby beaches, charming villages, and historical sites. The staff also went above and beyond to offer recommendations and assist with arranging excursions. Overall, The Royal Senses Hotel is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Cretan hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Crete. Je n'ai pas l'impression que les photos montrent exactement ce que l'hôtel offre... surtout les piscines... Moi et mon petit ami avions une situation très mauvaise. Nous avons fait un tour à Santorini et le ferry était en retard sur le chemin de retour. L'hôtel est situé à proximité de la porte de la chambre. J'ai fait une erreur (je suppose) Je voulais mettre ceci en marche et dire ”créez ma chambre” mais je choisisse le mauvais côté et je l'ai mis ”ne pas déranger”. Mais si notre guide appelait l'hôtel et dit que nous étions à Santorini, ils pourraient entrer dans la chambre pour mettre notre nourriture au réfrigérateur ou garder dans le bar... Je suis descendu et je parlais à un type de la réception qui lui a montré la photo que j'ai jointe ici et il m'a répondu que c'était ma faute de mettre la ”ne dérangez pas” à la porte et il ne pouvait rien faire pour nous, nous devrions manger ce aliment qui était sur le sol 😱😡. Aucune excuse pour ça... Le jour suivant, j'ai parlé au directeur et elle nous a pardonné et nous a donné un bon pour le déjeuner. Nous nous sommes excusés, mais je ne pourrai jamais oublier cette situation...

The hotel is in a great location to the town and the staff were very friendly. I would not recommend the standard room as it was extremely small and felt claustrophobic, we did try to upgrade the day we got there but they were unfortunately fully booked, as a couple with two suitcases there was no room whatsoever and very limited hanging space so had to leave the suitcases open on the floor and climb over them to get around. The air con had mould growing out of it and left the room smelling awful. We were also only given two towels which are only changed once every three days, it would have been nice to get a hand towel so you aren't using the one towel for everything. This is also the case for pool towels they are only changed once every three days. I think the hotel would benefit from an overall refresh, painting etc and the pool to be cleaned more often, although the water was clear there was green mould build up around the sides as well as the white pool loungers. I would not say that our room was 4 stars but that may have been based on the bigger rooms that are available.

Our stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day.  Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here. Everything was spotless every single day, it’s honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special. Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth. I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

We stayed at May Hotel for two nights before flying back to Germany, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early. We booked the half-board option, and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Breakfast offered a nice variety of choices, and dinner was tasty with enough selection. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The hotel also has a gym with enough equipment for a basic workout, which was a nice bonus during our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, although the rooms and facilities feel a bit outdated and could benefit from some renovation. The location is also not the most convenient, as there is no direct beach access—you’ll need to walk a few minutes to reach the beach. Overall, it’s a good value for money with excellent service, comfortable rooms, decent food, and useful amenities. With some modernization and a more convenient beach location, it would easily be an even better stay.
