L'hôtel est vraiment très agréable. Le personnel est très poli. Pour le prix, c'est parfait ; on y trouve tout le nécessaire, et même un centre commercial accessible à pied sans sortir de l'immeuble. Le personnel s'est montré très serviable et a répondu à toutes mes questions, en me fournissant un peigne et une balance pour mes valises. Ils ne se sont pas contentés de m'indiquer où les trouver ; ils me les ont apportés directement dans ma chambre et les ont ensuite récupérés. Seul bémol : au départ, il n'y avait qu'un seul shampoing et un seul lait corporel, malgré le fait que ce soit une chambre double. Après avoir fait ma demande à la réception, ils ont commencé à m'en fournir deux. Autre point négatif : les chambres sont un peu vieillottes, bien que très bien aménagées ; un petit rafraîchissement serait le bienvenu.

Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait un meilleur endroit pour le prix. Je suis venu ici en pensant payer 3 étoiles, mais il y a un réfrigérateur et un plan de travail. La chambre n'est pas trop petite et dispose de tout.

In particular, I really loved the view of Shwedagon Pagoda from my room. You have an excellent location as well, and the breakfast is hearty and satisfying. I had a very good stay at Melia Yangon. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The lobby is big and beautiful, creating a great first impression. My room was very clean with a nice view, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The breakfast was tasty with many good options to choose from. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangon.

Chatruim Lake View Hotel was a superb experience - I stayed here twice for about 8 days in total. The process from Check in to check out was second to none. We loved the hotel grounds, big rooms with a lake view, the breakfast was great too with a good selection of food.  The service from the bellboy to reception I can't really complain as they responded to all our requests. We checked out early for a flight to Mandalay and they provided us with a packed lunch. The pool facilities were great - alhough I think the water needs a bit of chlorine for cleaning as it was a bit musky - The hotel was nice and quiet with not too many guest, but service was still there. I'd like to mention the receptionist who is always smiling and so kind and welcoming and listening to our travel stories and requests - La Min and Mr Simon were so helpful, but I can't remember the other names. One thing to note- if you don't have a car, then it's not that central to the center of the city, however, you can easily take a Grab to Shwedagon Pagoda or the center, you can also walk to Kandagwyi Lake Graden and enjoy the sunset - which is only a 15 min walk and there is a mall there, too with a great supermarket. If you need to change money - the hotel recommended 126 Grocery Store - great rates no passport needed just new crisp USD notes. It's near Myanmar Plaza. I will definitely stay there again. We stayed in the Lake View but if you prefer the morning sun on your balcony then you can take the Pagoda view.  There is a presendential suite if you have the cash which I was told has a good overall top floor view. I hope you enjoy your stay. This was definitely much better than the Chatruim in Bangkok

Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was decent. The one thing that really needs improvement is the hallway—it had an unpleasant smell. I'm not sure if it was due to humidity or something else.

The staff is friendly, and the hotel is considered well-maintained. It is well-located near the central area, making it very convenient.

The hotel overall is great with good swimming pools sauna and restaurants but one things is that we woke up early and went down to have the breakfast buffet which is included in the booking. The staff told us that we are not allowed to go in with pyjamas but with selected dress code. Once we arrive inside there were several foreigners and locals wearing pyjamas..

Nous avons bénéficié d'un surclassement en chambre supérieure, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Cependant, la moquette des couloirs dégageait une légère odeur. L'ascenseur avait une odeur étrange. On nous a offert un en-cas pour le dîner. Ce bâtiment colonial ancien de 98 ans possède un hall d'entrée très romantique, idéal pour prendre des photos.
