Hôtels avec Petit déjeuner à Alvor

The positives: The area and the beaches are beautiful. Soft sand and lots of places to get refreshments as you walk along the Boardwalk to Alvor. Alvor has many different eateries amongst the narrow streets and shops. Our visit in April provided lots of sunshine. Buffet breakfast provided lots of variety and similar for dinner. The pool snack bar/cafe has a good menu and the food served quickly and hot. The not so good: check-in at 3pm and the room wasn’t ready, it was nearer 4pm before we got into the room. The mattresses are very soft, lumpy and do not provide a comfortable night’s sleep. The towels in the bathroom are quite hard, and the toilet paper rough. Not what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. There was no separate bin in the bathroom either. Clearing tables at breakfast and dinner either is too fast - you barely finish the last mouthful before the plate is removed; or plates aren’t cleared away quickly making it difficult for more people to be seated for breakfast and dinner. Waiting staff don’t all seem to know what they need to do; when a glass fell off a tray and smashed in the floor another waiter walked around it rather than looking to quickly get a brush. The restaurant takes your room number and notes this against your drinks order yet some nights asks you to pay directly rather than adding to your hotel bill on check-out. A disappointing experience. The indoor pool is not heated and whilst it has thalassotherapy jets and a jacuzzi the water is too cold. Towels for the pool are provided and indicated they can be in your room (we didn’t have any). Collection of towels is behind the bar near the pool snack area. On some nights the bar area has insufficient seating for guests at this time of year when it’s too chilly to seat outside after dinner. Staff experiences were mixed. Reception were friendly yet female manager in restaurant quite harsh and lacks customer service skills. Overall, the Alvor Praia is a 60s/70s inspired hotel which whilst has character the general condition of the hotel requires some maintenance. Based on our stay this is not a 5-star resort at best a high 3-star.

Certes pas de vue sauf sur le parking mais on peut pas tout avoir d'autant plus qu'il est en retrait d Alvor donc de la plage. Système de navettes indispensables pour les personnes qui ne conduisent pas. Hôtel très propre. Personnel d' entretien top. Chambre entretenue quotidiennement. petit bémol par rapport à la baignoire. Pourquoi pas une douche. A cette époque de l' année il y a beaucoup de personnes âgées et même des PMR qui ont beaucoup de mal à y accéder, de plus la poignée est désolidarisée et bouge.Rien à dire pour le personnel de l' accueil. 2 salles de restauration avec des horaires différents pour limiter le bruit qui reste le talon d' Achille de l hôtel malgré tout. Comment cela doit-il se passer en plein été ?Petit déjeuner continental avec largement de quoi contenter tout le monde. Les repas sont corrects mais sans fantaisie sauf lors de la soirée des spécialités portugaises. Par contre un gros gros point noir !!! Le bruit des animations. Bien trop fort. Pour ceux qui n'aiment pas le bruit la seule solution repli vers l' intérieur de l' hôtel. Dommage d' être enfermés alors qu'il fait beau

Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel Alvor Atlantico pendant près de trois semaines et nous recommanderions. Nous étions au 7e étage et la vue était absolument belle, nous pouvions voir la plage de la plage au restaurant Atlantida jusqu'à la fin. L'hôtel lui-même était très calme, il n'y a pas de bar, il y a une piscine intérieure, que nous n'avons pas utilisé et il était également très propre. L'étude était bien équipée avec un cuisinier à 2 anneaux, un réfrigérateur et des plaques et un cuisinier, nous avons eu un problème avec le cuisinier et la chaudière qui nous a été sorti, pas de problème. Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. Il est à 20 minutes de marche dans le port ou le centre d'Alvor sur la marche de bord qui a été une belle façon de commencer la soirée. Les lits étaient confortables, un peu difficile pour mon amour personnel, la douche était bonne avec beaucoup de pression, donc tout en tout recommanderait.

3 nuitées au cours d’un séjour d’une semaine pour découvrir l’Algarve. L’hôtel est conforme à ce que l’on peut attendre d’un tel complexe avec de belles piscines ,une salle de restaurant spacieuse et des couloirs de circulation vastes et propres. Tout se complique quand nous découvrons ,après avoir fait notre check in et donc payé la totalité du séjour, notre chambre « deluxe vue latérale sur mer » au 2eme étage (chambre 202 , mais ce n’est pas la seule) avec vue directe sur une sorte de toit en portique bétonné particulièrement obturateur (cf photo). Nous comprenons trop tard l’intérêt de prendre une chambre aux étages supérieurs en surclassant ( impossible l’hôtel étant complet ) ou de changer d’hôtel … Le buffet du petit déjeuner est correct, celui du dîner est lui sans intérêt et nous avons préféré dîner dans des restaurants d’Alvor pour les 2 soirs suivants ( accessibles à pieds en environ par le chemin de bois longeant la mer). Au total un beau complexe hôtelier mais une chambre étonnamment décevante pour une telle chaîne d’hôtels que nous avions précédemment apprécié à Madère. Nous n’y reviendrons certainement pas pour un prochain séjour en Algarve

Nous avons eu l'année dernière des problèmes de bruit au dessus de nos têtes, problème qui ont été résolu par un changement de chambre Donc au moment de la reservation nous avons demandé une chambre sans personne au dessus, les prévenant que si ce n'était pas le cas nous écourterions notre séjour de 3 semaines Au lieu de dire ”nous ne pouvons pas vous recevoir dans ces conditions” ils ont dit qu'ils allaient essayer de nous satisfaire. Ayant encore des éléphants au dessus de notre tête et la direction n'ayant pas proposé une solution, nous avons changé d'hotel Juste avant que l'on parte ils avait installé sur le pallier un salon pour une équipe de football. Autres commentaires : - La carte est toujours la même depuis des années - Le chef qui est Français ne sait toujours pas faire une sauce béarnaise - Les rivières du golf ne sont pas entretenues vous avez un couche de saletés qui forme une pellicule qui flottes. - Le golf est tout plat, sans intérêt - La chambre : On vous donne un petit chocolat le soir qui est immangeable La pomme de douche est à moitié cassée et le bas de la douche est très sale Le wifi est chaotique Le telephone catastrophique Nous adorions cet hotel mais tout va à va l'eau, ils préfèrent recevoir des équipes de footballeurs qu'une clientèle glofique. PASSEZ VOTRE CHEMIN cet hotel de vaux plus ses 5 étoiles et les 190 euro que vous payez par nuit en B&B Ce changement d'hotel nous a fait découvrir un petit 5*, pour l'instant merveilleux avec un golf passionnant. Je ferais un commentaire à la fin de notre séjour.

Fantastic hotel. Rooms cleaned every day location great. Reception staff very helpful and always had a smile Big thank you to Thomas ( I think that’s his name) at reception. Almost every night we asked him for directions to restaurants/ bus stops etc and he was so good at explaining it to us. Lovely pool area small but quiet and relaxing Breakfast staff were fine but a simple smile in the morning would have been nice A bit “ grumpy “ to say the least. Umberto was just great. He’s the tall one. Always had the biggest smile for you when we walked in. Very very nice man. Would recommend this hotel. If I ever return to ALVOR , I will certainly return to this hotel. !!! Just to say the jet 2 rep was wonderful. I took ILL one morning and she went above and beyond to help me. Phoned later that day to check on me and also the following day too. Wish I could remember her name. So a big thank you to her !!!

J'ai passé un séjour extraordinaire à l'hôtel! Le transport pour la plage était très agréable et bien organisé. De plus, j'ai eu la chance de bénéficier d'un upgrade de chambre gratuit, ce qui a rendu mon séjour encore plus agréable. L'hôtel est idéalement situé, ce qui est un véritable atout. Je tiens à remercier chaleureusement Breno, Ana Cuna et Hugo de la réception pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur professionnalisme. Un grand merci également à Eduarda et Karla des restaurants pour leur service impeccable. Et enfin, merci au chauffeur du petit train (dont le nom m'échappe) pour sa gentillesse. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel et j'ai hâte d'y revenir!
