Edinburgh hotel are never cheap to begin with. But for market street hotel, you do get what you pay for. Extremely convenient location right opposite of the main train station, friendly check-in counter staff that will serve you a welcome Champagne drink, and a pretty spacious room.

Traveled with my wife and our 10-year-old kid. The location was superb, right in the heart of town—near Scott Monument and directly in front of Victoria Garden. The hospitality was top-notch, especially in the F&B department. A waitress from Asia (likely Nepal) was exceptionally professional and friendly. An amazing place to stay with family & friends—highly recommended!

Le personnel de la réception était très accueillant après notre enregistrement tardif. Il nous a emmenés et nous a montré la chambre tout seul. Un gars très sympa. Et oui, nous avons eu une chambre surclassée. La chambre était spacieuse, propre, très luxueuse, le lit était super bon, les oreillers bons et la marque Aarn pour le shampoing et la lotion pour le corps était incroyable. De plus, le haut-parleur du patron à l'intérieur de la pièce était fantastique. D'un autre côté, la pièce était très sombre. Le ventilateur dans les toilettes était bruyant. Il n'y avait pas de téléphone dans la chambre, étonnamment. Et tard dans la nuit, ça devient un peu bruyant. Peut entendre les gens parler à l'extérieur. A part ça, nous avons eu un sentiment très simple. La chambre était de l'autre côté du bâtiment, donc il n'y avait pas de vue.

Le design de la chambre et le déco sont excellents. Les équipements fournis dans la cuisine sont également très complets, ce qui fait du bon cuisine. La place est aussi bonne, à une courte distance de la gare. Et beaucoup de bons aliments à proximité.

I really enjoyed my four days. Wonderful hotel the team was very friendly and helpful at all times of the day. Great location easy to get to from the Station/airport. Good trams service along Princes Street. Plenty of buses along South Bridge which is a short walk. Enjoyed the spa facilities especially the swimming pool. The lounge near the reception area is a little chilly but a nice spot to relax with a warm drink. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would recommend. Rooms Good size room, fantastic shower and products. Bed was very comfortable. It was a tad cold so I requested a blanket which was very snug. Bonus having a fridge and complimentary water nice touch. Tea/coffee try was good but would be great to have some hot chocolate. Nearby activities Holyrood Palace and gardens on your doorstep along with great views of Arthur Seat. Five minutes walk to the Royal Mile. Food and drinks There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel. I found the food a bit hit and miss to be honest. Breakfast is great with a great choice in food for all palettes. Warm friendly service.

Le service était super dès que vous êtes entré dans le magasin! Pendant le Nouvel An chinois, j'ai aussi offert des petits cadeaux et des cartes, mais les vœux sur les cartes n'étaient pas en chinois ! La chambre que j'ai réservée était relativement petite, mais c'était suffisant pour moi. Le chauffage n'était pas suffisant et pas mal. Le chauffage de la chambre et le ventilateur d'extraction des toilettes sont bruyants ! Pour certains amis, la baignoire de cet hôtel est nécessaire et assez grande. Les articles de toilette viennent du Soudan. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas trop nombreux, mais très délicieux ! Les attractions environnantes sont accessibles en 17-20 minutes environ, Calton Hill est à environ 29 minutes et la gare d'Édimbourg Waverley est à 21 minutes.

Idéalement situé à proximité du Royal Mile et d'autres attractions touristiques, l'appartement était bien équipé en ustensiles de cuisine. La machine à laver était très bruyante, nous devions donc la mettre en marche en partant le matin. Le four nous était moins utile qu'un micro-ondes, mais dans l'ensemble, nous étions satisfaits.

Good points: The location is perfect, city centre. Service is above average. We had the breakfasts, not buffet style but actually v good. Al carte style, not easy to over eat.walking distance to a lot of attractions and starting points of local tours. Staff at reception were helpful and friendly. Above average. Check in. Check out smooth. Although my family of 4 while in UK, would book 2 rooms, recently, probably for the fun of the booking staff (definitely felt intentional) or the inadequacy of the computers, our family would be placed in 2 rooms in different floors, this time it DID NOT HAPPEN. So special thanks to W hotel for making this normal request come true. Not good points: Although nothing wrong with artificial friendliness, however, when all our luggage was delayed by British Airway, and there was a reasonable line in check in. The reception staff maybe could cut down the chatting with the guests and focused in doing the job and checking us in quicker. House keeping was below average, dirty glasses were not cleaned or replaced for TWO days. However this was not uncommon in UK in general. Breakfast ordering in the restaurant, orders were missed twice but actually above average in UK. Reminder: The hotel slippers were nice. Available on request, they would pretend the slippers were in the rooms, they would be available when requested Free. Thanks.

Not really clean. Floormat was dirty and some washroom have stains. I have to waited for a while and ask for assistance with check in. Things were not included in the email. But nice location, in the heart of Uni Edin so lots of lively energy and people

The location is great. There are bus stops right in front of it for both sides. It is very easy to go to Rosslyne Chapel or the city center. There is always hot water. The wifi works well. The rooms are fine. The only downside is there is no breakfast. That's fine too, there are many alternatives outside. There are no hotel slippers, but that's nowhere else in the UK. So bring your slippers in your suitcase when you come to the UK. I would definitely stay here again if I came back because of its location and very good price/performance value 👍👍👍
