Avis : The Palms Canggu

This is a little gem of a hotel! Great location with loads happening around it but we didn’t notice any noise and slept well. The hotel layouts are good, with a feeling of being private, the pool area is lovely, the staff were so friendly, and there were so many nice touches, incense in our room when we got home that night, cookies on the bed, flavoured water in the fridge. The room is compact and could perhaps do with a freshen up but with the care and attention to detail we didn’t even notice. And for the price… it’s a no brainier. We would definitely stay here again if venturing back to Canguu.

Been to Bali a few times and stayed at different villas, but would return to The Palms and highly recommend it!

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our holiday. We arrived around midnight and had advised the hotel of this prior to arrival which we were told wouldn’t be a problem. There was a locked door to get into the property which meant we were stuck outside, fortunately two others who were staying there had just come back and let us in. There was a man asleep next to reception who seemed incredibly confused around us checking in and took my driving licence to give us the key which I didn’t really want to do but felt I didn’t have a choice. This whole situation wasn’t ideal and wouldn’t be very safe for a solo female traveller as it’s down a track where there are no street lights! Nonetheless we did enjoy our stay, the room was comfortable and a nice shower. The pool was also nice, overall good value and perfect for 3 nights in Canggu. The location is also very good and in walkable distance to most things.

The hotel is very nice and the staff are amazing and friendly! It’s not too far away from some hotspots, if you see any reviews about the cat don’t worry about them it’s a lovely cat called Palmi who is owned by the hotel! The seats are comfy by the pool (different from the picture). The rooms have great AC that works very well with the rooms being very clean during our stay. The Wi-Fi worked great too. Overall would 100% go back!
