I'm scratching my head wondering how this place even gets to call itself a 'resort.' Right from the start, our stay was full of letdowns, hassles, and none of the chill-out time we were looking forward to. First off, the rooms were as dark as a cave and there was nothing to look at but blank walls, even though we shelled out 3000 PHP per night. Now, if you think the price gets you something fancy, think again. We got more sand in our room than on the beach! It was like they had a truckload dumped in there. On top of that, the aircon unit might as well have been a chunk of useless metal on the wall. It didn't do a thing to cool down the room, leaving us sweltering in the tropical heat. And then there were the ants! They seemed to have taken a liking to our room, making themselves at home and giving us one more reason to frown. When we'd finally had enough and wanted to leave early, they shrugged and said, "Sorry, we're fully booked," and refused to give back any of our money for the rest of the stay. The staff didn't seem to care at all about how upset we were. If this is how a 'resort' treats its guests, then I think they got the meaning of the word wrong. I've stayed in plenty of real resorts before, and this place doesn't even come close. So, if you're thinking of staying here, take my advice: Don't. Keep your hard-earned money and go somewhere they'll actually appreciate you. This place is all talk and no action, and it'll ruin your vacation before it even gets started.
