The room was very spacious not just “big” but properly comfortable to move around, open luggage, and still feel cosy. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and everything felt well maintained. But the highlight? The view. Waking up to mountain scenery right outside the window was unreal. The air felt fresh, the surroundings were peaceful, and it really made us slow down and appreciate the moment. It’s one of those stays where you just stand by the window for a while and take it all in. After a long day exploring Dagu Glacier, coming back to a warm, beautiful room with such a stunning view made the experience even better. If you’re planning to visit Dagu Glacier, this hotel is definitely worth considering especially if you enjoy comfort with breathtaking scenery.

This trip came with an unexpected situation when our original accommodation, Mountainside Reverie, was suddenly closed without prior notice to Trip.com. Given the urgency, we immediately contacted Trip.com—and this turned out to be one of the most impressive customer service experiences we’ve had. Their support team responded promptly and handled the situation with professionalism. They canceled our original booking free of charge and allowed us to select a new accommodation on the spot. We eventually chose to stay at Heishui Gaduo Manor Homestay. Additionally, Trip.com compensated us with coins for future discounts, demonstrating genuine care for their customers. What started as a disruption turned into a surprisingly positive experience—thanks to efficient problem-solving and a warm, comfortable new stay. Unexpected moments can become meaningful highlights—when you have the right travel partner like Trip.com by your side. Following the unexpected change of plans, we stayed at Heishui Gaduo Manor Homestay, and it turned out to be a genuinely heartwarming experience. Although the staff did not speak English, their willingness to help was evident in every interaction. Through gestures, smiles, and sincere effort, they made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. As we were preparing to visit Dagu Glacier Scenic Area, we purchased instant noodles and additional canned oxygen from the property, just to be safe for the high altitude. The prices were fair and reasonable, with no sense of overcharging. What stood out the most was the genuine hospitality—proving that meaningful service goes beyond language. True hospitality isn’t defined by words, but by the sincerity and care you feel along the journey.

The hotel is nicely decorated and clean. We loved the big windows and view. Beds are comfortable and the owners are nice. It's located up a hill, and they don't have a restaurant, so if you don't have a car and want to eat dinner, it's difficult to walk back up. I booked this hotel because they have a room with a big hot tub. But it was a big disappointment. The water source for this tub is a kitchen type faucet, which does not work for a big tub. It took hours just to fill one-fourth of it, and water coming out was not hot enough. And even if it were hot enough, the hours that it will take to fill the tub would eventually make the water cold. It was too late that we realized this so we ended up not using it. There were a lot of things wrong with this tub. When you want to soak in a hot tub, it would only take a few minutes before the water turns cold, so you would want to drain some water, and refill with hot water several times. But clearly with the type of faucet they put there, that was impossible. Another thing, when we were eating our breakfast, the owner was smoking in the next table.

This resort is suitable for families with kids as the interior design was amazing, relaxing and warming. The room was big and clean while all the accessories were brand new and we can enjoy movie time with a big projector although my son and daughter enjoyed the swing more. We reached there at night and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The delicious breakfast was served by a friendly and sweet receptionist - 阿依. The resort also includes a reading corner on the second floor of the cafe and is suitable for those who like to take photos. Anyone who is looking for a short trip at Dagu Glacier, can consider this resort, it's worth it.

在阿媽這深刻的感受到了阿壩藏族的熱情；前一天到嚐到了氂牛火鍋真的是很不一樣的感受；第二天去達古冰川因為沒有車；店主還很熱情的幫我叫了車。然後出發的比較早來不及吃早飯；阿媽還給我們塞了雞蛋。還很幸運的趕上了藏式婚禮，感受了更近一步的沙卡村！最後最後，阿媽很熱情，第二天燒的麪也很好吃；做的酥油茶也很香

The hotel was great, the bed is very comfy and even has a bed heater, the hotel also has AC can be used in winter and summer time.. if you plan to go to dagu glacier, this hotel is perfect match.. the owner very helpful and very kind.. overall this hotel is very recommended

This hotel was amazing! It feels like a newly opened hotel, but everything is very well-equipped and thoughtfully prepared. The hotel restaurant serves Hunan-style hot pot for dinner, and it was absolutely delicious. There were also many Thai guests staying here. The rooms do not have air conditioning, but it wasn’t a problem at all because the weather is cool throughout the year. I accidentally left some belongings at the hotel, and the staff kindly helped coordinate the return shipment. The service was excellent in every aspect. I was truly impressed with this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the

酒店環境好，服務好。前台大堂的服務員姐姐特別好！會告訴我們達古冰川一些情況，像可以帶坐輪椅的家人去冰川。還送了早餐票給孩子，考慮我們的情況，給我們送路。房間寬大，床有電熱毯，非常之温暖^ ^，設施新也乾淨。晚飯點了番茄牛腩火鍋，價格惠民，量正好4個人吃，好吃好吃，性價比高高的。在酒店出發去冰川，開車5分鐘左右就到，還是挺近的，很方便！

Comfortable and cozy room with Japanese-style decorations. I especially love the heated bed topper. The hotel staff, which we think is also the owner, is really nice and friendly. It is a little far from Heishui downtown, but there was nothing to do in town at night anyway, so no issue there. Having said that the hotel is not close to Heishui city, the staff offered to bring us dinner, so eating was not an issue. The hotel is located close to Dagu Glacier with around 5-min taxi ride. Highly recommended

I am Thai🇹🇭. I stayed in a room for three people for two days. The cleanliness was still not up to standard, and the bathroom had a slight smell. However, on December 30, 2024, it snowed at night. When I woke up and looked out the window, everything was covered in snow. It was incredibly beautiful, like a scene from a fairy tale. The free food provided was steamed buns, boiled eggs, and bland rice porridge, which were just okay. But don’t forget to ask for a WeChat taxi contact because taxis are very limited. Just in case there’s no car available for the return trip from Tagong.
