I had a wonderful 4-day stay at Acacia Hotel Davao, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and everything felt organized and guest-friendly. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was also excellent, with a good variety of choices that catered to different tastes. Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I would definitely give Acacia Hotel Davao a 5-star rating. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Davao who’s looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay.

The place was splendid! Located close to many good restaurants, SNR and MTS. The pool was really good for adults and the place was well kept. Just don't forget to bring a toothbrush. Hehe. We loved the junior suite!

Room is cleaned every day. Toiletries and bottled water replenished daily. Bfast is satisfactory. Rooftop resto is a plus. Staff - very friendly and helpful. There is no microwave to heat food. You can’t bring pomelo to your room due to sanitary policies. Lobby is under renovation but it’s ok.

We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. Bien que l'hôtel bénéficie d'un extérieur luxueux, la chambre laissait à désirer avec un mobilier démodé. La climatisation, bien qu'efficace, a tendance à être un peu bruyante la nuit. Du côté positif, les toilettes et la salle de bain sont propres et offrent de l'eau chaude et froide. L'emplacement est un point fort, idéalement situé à quelques pas de GMALL. Cependant, l'enregistrement s'est avéré un peu long par rapport à d'autres hôtels. Un parking spacieux à l'arrière est disponible, mais l'absence d'entrée par porte dérobée depuis le parking nécessite une promenade jusqu'au hall principal. Le petit déjeuner, même s'il n'a rien d'exceptionnel, est satisfaisant.

We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

Ce que j'ai aimé : - Emplacement idéal - Service client excellent - Belle réception - Petit-déjeuner authentique et savoureux Ce que je n'ai pas aimé : - J'ai trouvé un cafard dans ma chambre - Les chambres et les salles de bain sont extrêmement vétustes et nécessitent une rénovation urgente, malgré quelques efforts depuis mon dernier séjour en début d'année - La télévision est quasiment décorative. Seules 4 ou 5 chaînes sont disponibles, mais la qualité du signal est médiocre, voire inexistante. Ce n'est pas une Smart TV, donc pas de YouTube ni de Netflix pour se divertir. - Le rapport qualité-prix est mauvais. La récente augmentation des prix est injustifiée.

Hotel vraiment a 2 pas de l’airport, offrant même un petit dej au A mart d’en bas donc assez sympa. Par contre il est vraiment vieillot, vieillot, les carreaux sont cassés, la peinture sur les murs écaillée voir retirée par endroits, il mérite un gros rafraîchissement. La SDB est vraiment dans le même genre par contre caffé savon gel douche. Nous avons eu un problème avec la douche puis le lavabo n avait pas d’eau. Hotel vraiment Ok pour 1 nuit pas plus.
