Après un court séjour en août, nous avons décidé de retourner pour un week-end dans cet hôtel. L'équipement est très bon, vous vous sentez bien dans cet immeuble avec l'histoire. Placement calme, belle terrasse, tout très propre. Le petit déjeuner est exactement correct, la sélection est assez abondante pour la faim. Les chambres ont été très confortables chaque fois, et la couleur bleue des murs semble calmant. Très noble décoré.

Nice hotel close to the centre of Breda. 15 minutes walk from the train station through the park. 5 minutes walk from the Grote Markt and numerous bars, restaurants and shopping. The room was of a good size and the super kingsize bed was very comfortable however the pillows were soft. We had a superior room on the 4th floor at the back of the hotel so the room was very quiet and looked over some lowrise apatrtments. The bathroom was a good size with a bathtub and shower. The water was always hot. We didn't eat in the hotel but we used the bar a few times. It was reasonably priced compared to the bars in the centre of town. All the staff we met were friendly, professional and courteous. We would stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to friends and family.

The hotel is located in a beautifully renovated building in the center of Breda. Stylish with many authentic elements but with a modern twist. If you come by car, you can choose the Valet service or park your car in the practically nearby parking De Barones yourself. The parking garage has several charging stations for electric cars. We arrived at the restaurant side of the hotel looking for the entrance. An attentive employee saw us and asked if we were looking for the hotel. He took over our suitcase and escorted us to the front desk to check-in. See, now that's hospitality. The ladies at the front desk were also very friendly and welcomed me as a Platinum member with a nice room upgrade. My room on the 5th floor was very spacious — lovely big bed, separate toilet, spacious bathroom with separate bath and walk-in shower. Besides a bottle of Holy water, there is also a Nespresso machine for a cup of coffee. Too bad the bar was closed in the evening, and we had to go out for drinks. They served breakfast in the former chapel. Found that space is somewhat claustrophobic as you are locked in and can't see outside.

C'est un bel hôtel avec un personnel très sympathique. Je suis venu ici pour passer mon examen à Breda. J'ai vraiment eu un bon environnement pour apprendre. Le soir j'ai pu profiter du bar. L'emplacement est dans un environnement paisible près de la nature.

I stayed 2 nights and wanted to pay for 1 with a gift card. When I arrived they simply refused my gift card and lied straight to my face about the reasons. I used a voucher and exchanged it for a gift card on a website. After I did that both the e-mail and the attached pdf said clearly 'all you have to do now, is print this pdf, bring it to the hotel and you can pay with it'. Well they didn't accept that. Apparently you had to call them up before you make your reservation. They said it was in the e-mail and on the website and I had to literally show the e-mail to them before they accepted it wasn't in there. But I still had to call them because it 'said so on the website'. That's when I get annoyed. If the mistake is mine, I pay up. When they are in the wrong they admit it and make you pay either way. Even worse, their explanation to this process was that they only have limited rooms for these gift card and the hotel was full. But... just minutes before that they were searching for my reservation and accidentlly reveiled that the next reservation that used the same type of gift card... was WEEKS after mine.

Hotel moderne et propre avec un personnel amiable. L'emplacement est parfait - très proche de tout ce dont vous avez besoin dans la ville. La chambre était grande et confortable et le petit déjeuner était bon. N'ayant pas utilisé les installations car nous avons eu un très court séjour.
