Lorsque j'ai rencontré un incendie, j'ai ouvert la porte et je suis resté un moment dans le couloir. Le personnel a couru partout, mais personne ne m'a dit d'évacuer. Je n'ai donc pas eu à sortir. Le feu continuait. J'ouvris les rideaux et regardai dehors. Le personnel qui avait évacué vers l'espace ouvert m'a vu et m'a fait signe de me laisser sortir à l'extérieur, lorsque les camions de pompiers sont arrivés. Ils n'ont pas organisé, supervisé et contrôlé efficacement l'évacuation des invités, mais l'incendie n'était pas grave. Le dernier jour, le ménage nous a éloignés des tasses avec les brosses à dents. Il devrait être évident que ce ne sont pas des déchets, car il y a une brosse à dents et du dentifrice à l'intérieur, ainsi que du fil dentaire et une brosse interdentaire. Et, il n'y a eu aucun problème avec la sortie des jours précédents. étrange. L'attitude des serveurs individuels à la réception était froide. D'autres sont acceptables.

After being unhappy at another chain location, I switched from my usual brand and joined Radisson Rewards for this booking, with a great rate. Arrived here from ROCHESTER International Airport by LYFT ride, not knowing how long I would be staying, or what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Located in a nice area, on busy Route 31, Monroe Ave , East of the city, but still close to all major attractions, like GeorgeEastman House, Memorial Art Gallery, Highland Park, Rochester Museum and Science Center, by car, also on city bus routes. My comfy accessible room is roomy and restful, with a King bed and roll-in shower, many safety bars in bathroom. There is a window unit for climate control , Microwave and fridge in my room, and a 40 inch flat screen TV that has a sharp picture with premium channels. Room and lobby WIFI works well., except with my Apple phone. Cozy family reading area with adult and children's books and a single computer/printer business center in lobby. I was happy to find a small coin operated laundromat and a tiny gym, with two machines. Amenities include a very good hot and cold breakfast served in lobby, with 24/7 refreshment and coffee/tea bar. Spunkmeyer cookies at desk, a small convenience store for essentials, including frozen entrees. Smoke free premises, however there is an outside seating area, with wooden Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for smokers. Four Electric car charging stations make this a great location for modern savvy travelers who care about the environment. Coffee-Tea stations in room and lobby were well stocked. The diverse cheerful and helpful staff keep all common areas very clean; all of them are very helpful and accommodating . I enjoyed conversing with International guest clientele in several languages, including Japanese tourists. With rewards member rates, its a great deal and price point. Ethnic restaurants and shopping nearby, including Pittsford Plaza and Eastview Mall . I recommend this hotel to all traveler friends in this area, and beyond, including my 50,000. travel chat buddies on Facebook, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, without hesitation. Je vois qu'ils ont essayé de rebrander cet hôtel mais ils ont certainement été aussi bon marché que possible ....L'air conditionné est vieux et ne peut guère fonctionner ainsi que sonner comme il pourrait exploser tout moment ......Tiny salle de bain avec le plongeur dans la chambre en dehors de la salle de bain ...I ont l'aperçu de ceci à d'autres hôtels de choix mais généralement la salle de bain est encore un peu plus grande ..... la madrague sur le haut d'un cadre noir bon marché était une mauvaise idée ....squeaky et juste super random ...Pour $200+ une nuit, ce n'était pas jusqu'à par et c'était la première fois que j'ai eu. résidé à une propriété de choix pendant de nombreuses années et ne répétera probablement pas cette erreur à nouveau ....back à Hilton/marriott pour moi

Amour du restaurant

L'hôtel commence à montrer son âge, mais il est gardé propre. J'ai séjourné ici au moins 4 fois ces dernières années et je n'ai pas été déçu. Le personnel frontal est toujours agréable et hébergé. Il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner gratuit, mais nous achetons le petit déjeuner avec notre chambre. À l'arrivée nous recevons nos billets de petit déjeuner. Bon café Starbucks du matin et un sandwich de petit déjeuner. Wifi fonctionne bien et le parking est abondant.

Je voyageais seul en juin 2023 avec trois enfants de moins de 7 ans et je me suis résidé dans cette localisation. Je suis si heureux de trouver quelque chose près de la tramway. C'était une arrêt rapide de la nuit pendant un voyage de 12 heures. Tout était super de check-in pour check-out. Le bureau de première chambre était rapide et efficace à me faire venir et à me faire venir dans une chambre facile à rencontrer avec les enfants. Le petit déjeuner était très bon pour tous et le salon était propre et refroidi rapidement. Le séjour est très rapide et facile. Je vais planifier de rester ici comme nous habituellement restons dans cette zone chaque été sur notre voyage.

The Hilton Garden Inn is located within the Rochester University campus and only 5 minutes away from the wonderful and historic Mount Hope Cemetery. The hotel has a nicely decorated and welcoming lobby, with a restaurant on site that serves breakfast in the morning (my visit included the breakfast plan since I do not like going to look for breakfast in the morning). There were two comfortable double beds and a nice large bathroom in the room. Bed Linen and towels were clean and fluffy. The breakfast off the menu was good. I did not use the buffet but it did not appear to have a large variety. The hotel is a good jump off point to explore the Erie Canal, the fall colours of the Finger Lake District or just to walk along the Genesee River waterfront trail (which is lovely for walking and riding). So now for my issue with the housekeeping policy (not the housekeepers I would like to add). And yes, I am going to get political here! We were told upon arrival that because of Covid the rooms would be cleaned on the fifth day of stay or if we request it by calling before 8am the day we wanted to have the room cleaned. OK, policy understood! Some people can go for days without needing the room cleaned, I am not one of those people. One of the things I like most about staying in hotels is having daily housekeeping and arriving back in the room with the bed made and fresh towels if I leave them in the bath tub (which I do not do everyday). So twice we called, before 8 am to make the appointment. The phone rang for a long time, eventually we spoke to the front desk and the person took the room number and confirmed the request. Twice the room housekeepers never came and the room was never cleaned. What the hotel and the Hilton chain, as a whole, will not freely admit is that they have turned housekeeping into a ”gig” economy. The housekeepers are suppose to wait each day for a call. If they get a call, they work, if they not, no work. No work, no pay. So, to the surprise of no one, those mostly women of color were smart enough to get a regular and better paying job else, with guaranteed hours. That has left a smaller pool of available housekeepers. The hotel chain is making excessive profits on the backs of the lowest paying people in the hotel business. In addition, they do not tell you when you book that the room rate does not include housekeeping (so ask before booking), they do not amend the rates because they no longer clean the rooms. Same rates less service! There is simply something wrong with that business model that I cannot move on from as a traveler. In the future, I will be vetting the house keeping policy for all hotels before book.

Clean and clean, breakfast is rich, there is a very large business area around it, very close to Lake Ontario. Recommended!
