Avis : Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel

Lovely little gem of a hotel not far from the old pier. Staff are extremely nice friendly and helpful. Lovely bar and seating with buffet breakfast. I will definitely stay again and recommend it.

This hotels frontage echo’s bygone splendour and is perfectly situated on the sea front. However, the hotel is ready for refurb and I certainly wouldn’t stay in the annex again (that’s the bit at the back without a sea view). Out room 254 was not what I expect from a Mercure - we had 2 extra single beds and a tatty sofa chair in our higgledy-piggledy “double” room! However, the staff were excellent, very polite and welcoming. The breakfast was superb and again the restaurant staff were lovely and professional.

Well located hotel at Brighton and Hove Seafront. Attentive staff, friendly, while checking in. Unfortunately building & rooms are quite old.

Just stayed one night. Room was a good size. Convenient location for where we were heading for food and drinks with friends. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Value good with discount code used on trip.com.

Great location, room very clean, good customer service would of given it 5/5 till the last day when one of the staff walked into our room early morning when we were asleep which was unacceptable and then couple of hours later an hour before check out we had another member of staff knocking on the door.

Pathetic rooms, window didn’t close due to which room was freezing. Couldn’t able to sleep properly.

Lovely hotel. Only stayed for one night so booked a single room. It was compact and perfectly laid out, really comfy, lovely bathroom and very clean. Staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Was a wonderful stay. Marta took care of me during my stay and offered exceptional customer service and best experience. Would stay here again any day. Wait staff at the bar were lovely too, very welcoming.

Everything was very beautiful, very cozy attention to detailing very tasteful decor. The receptionist was an absolute sweetheart with us. Location is good. Breakfast was ok. Comes with slippers and a bathrobe , although one of our bathrobes were dirty inside with toothpaste. The facilities need here and there an update, it was very windy outside and the windows let through a lot of cold. There’s some tiles on the bathroom floor fallen and for the price it was one would expect it being properly cleaned specially the toilet around mirrors and windows

Location is absolutely great, the sea is direct in front of the hotel. Everything is at walking distance. The staff is very kind and friendly. When we check in, there is a small promotion where we can get free wine, beer or sodas. Cleanliness is great, the room is spotless although there is a little funky smell but not a big issue. As for the amenities, their shampoo and body wash are in bottles fixed to the wall. But their shampoo and body wash are of quality with meroli and bergamot smell which i just fall in love with. They did provide hand wash and lotion in bottles and fixed to the wall as well. No bar soap, no toothpaste, no toothbrush, no shower cap. Their does provide iron, hair dryer and tea/coffee as well as two bottles of water.
