Pas très propre. Il y a encore des taches sur la lunette des toilettes et la pièce est très froide malgré le chauffage.

The receptionist is friendly and lovely. The hotel upgraded me to the family room even though I am a single traveler. The hotel location is great and easy to access to the old and new town of Edinburgh. Will stay here again when I visit Edinburgh.

Lovely hotel with very comfortable bed. Bathroom is quite small though and the carpet in the hotel room was a bit dirty

Hotel in a great central position just 10 minutes from Waverley station. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. There was a great hospitality tray including water, crisps, biscuits as well as tea and coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

Very big and comfy rooms. Location is a bit off the city center so be prepared to walk a bit of catch a tram.

Location very good, just next to calton hill. Many facilities, including TV, iron, kettle, etc. The room is very big. The room has one queen bed and one single bed. Both are very cozy. Free prior luggage storage provided for customers who booked a room. The staffs are nice and friendly. Everything is quite clean and new.

Hotel room was clean and spotless. Did not had much interaction with some reception staff during stay. Location was fine. I was expecting to be more closer to shops than expected. Supermarkets are 15-20 walk Indian lady at reception seemed friendly and pleasant upon checkout time. She had a smiley friendly attitude. Had a pleasant stay.. would recommend

Great location, isn’t too far from the train station so can easily walk there. Also it’s very close to attractions etc. The room was very clean & spacious and my request was fulfilled which was very helpful. The staff was very pleasant and also received nice arrival & departure gift which was a great touch

Very nice and clean hotel. Spacious room with very high ceiling which was very nice. Lovely view from outside the (massive) window in the room. Lovely staff. Good breakfast. Room was well equipped with an iron, kettle, hair dryer, and a fan. The only thing is that there is no air con but for now the fan did its job which made the room temp good. Overall very good hotel, would come back.

I contacted trip.com at 4am once I received an alert that all trains from London to Edinburgh had been cancelled due to adverse weather as there was danger to life. I sent all necessary documents reflecting my cancelled train service as well as newspaper reported advising travellers of multiple train cancellations and of bad weather causing DANGER TO LIFE but the hotel REFUSED TO CANCEL my booking and provide a full refund. The cancellation was not out of MY choice but a necessity as all trains, even in Edinburgh itself, were cancelled. It was a FORCE MAJEURE EVENT. I have been an avid trip.com user for while not, but I will NEVER USE TRIP.COM AGAIN or STAY AT THIS HOTE after this incident. The customer service personnel kept insisting that the “supplier” and the hotel refused to provide a full refund despite the force majeure circumstances. My hotel reservation is with trip.com, NOT SOME “SUPPLIER”. So guys, please beware and don’t use this platform unless you’re willing to let them go off scot free and pay for hotel stays which you can’t stay at, not due to your own personal reasons for cancelling but due to bad weather that a danger to life.
