My partner and I were staying at The Westin Tysons Corner (Jan 16-21) and had the most demeaning and utterly disrespectful guest service experience at this hotel. I’d like to preface this review by saying that I am a Titanium Elite member with Marriott, staying roughly 100 nights with various Marriott hotel brands in the last year alone. Of all the nights of staying with Marriott throughout the years, I have never been on the receiving of such blatant and careless disrespect from a hotel employee. After returning from dinner on Friday, Jan 20 around 9:30PM, my partner and I decided we wanted to stop at the restaurant bar to get a dessert. Upon entering the hotel we realized we left the room keys inside the room and needed to stop by the front desk to get new keys. While we were waiting for the front desk agent, Rahan, to finish up with the guest in front of us, my partner had to use the restroom. He couldn’t find the restroom, went in the wrong direction (simple mistake) and ended up near the bar where he came across Nelson, the hotel bartender. Nelson aggressively yelled to him “Where are you going?!” and “Why are you walking in that direction?!” Feeling confused as to why Nelson approached him that manner, my partner told Nelson that he was looking for the restroom. After my partner returned from the restroom, we met in the restaurant bar and I ordered the dessert because my partner did not feel comfortable interacting with Nelson after the interaction he and Nelson just had. There was only one guest in the bar area and my partner did not want to sit at the bar because of how unwelcome Nelson made him feel. We decided to sit in the very large, comfy (and beautiful) couches in the restaurant area. My partner leaned back to enjoy the ambiance and began to scroll on his phone. As we were waiting for the dessert to come out, Nelson yells across the bar, “WHEN YOU COME INTO THIS BAR, YOU SIT UP STRAIGHT! THIS IS NOT YOUR HOUSE OR A BEDROOM YOU DO NOT LAY ON MY FURNITURE!” Our mouthes along with the young lady’s at the bar hit the floor in disbelief because we could not believe he was speaking to us in that manner. We tried to ignore Nelson, thinking he would stop but he continued to yell at us as if we were children. We got up and walked over to the bar to get his name and manager’s name (both of which he refused to provide) and he proceeded to tell us, “I AM THE FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER! I MAKE THE RULES” (both of which we later found were untrue). He also yelled to us “I HAVE CHILDREN OLDER THAN YOU!” As if that were a good excuse for him to be speaking to any guest in that manner. Nelson also told us, “I DONT CARE WHO YOU CALL OR TELL” when we let him know that we would be following up with his manager regarding his behavior. In the middle of getting scolded by Nelson, Rahan (the Front Desk Agent), walked over and made no attempt to deescalate the situation. L'hôtel est très confortable et vous pouvez accueillir avec un grand intérêt. La zone de lobby était en construction et le restaurant du site a été temporairement déplacé, étant donné que le personnel/réception n'a jamais manqué de bénédiction et de confort. Je veux juste étendre ma reconnaissance et ma reconnaissance au gestionnaire de l'OPS/Duane et à tout son personnel! Le parking est un établissement de qualité, mais il est très facile de trouver un établissement de qualité.

J'ai déjà été ici avant, et il est descendu dans la colline. Je cherche à penser où j'ai commencé. Ah - j'ai demandé au clef de petit déjeuner - il a dit que les œufs en grains faisaient partie du petit déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner était bien en deçà de ce que j'ai vu au cours des six derniers mois, des petits trucs comme le café pour deux partager un lit de taille royale. Le tube/douche avait un bar de savons de motel dans le plat de savons. Enfin, le bureau de la fonction a dit : ”Désolé. Je ne peux pas vous aider.” Malgré ce que le personnel veut faire, les hôtels Choice ne fournissent plus un document matinal aux membres du privilège de Choice - et je suis membre du diamant. Ils ont toujours le signe et ensuite le bus, mais ils ne l'utilisent pas. Il est évident que quelque chose de mieux va se faire, mais je n'ai pas vu de mesures. Je pense vraiment que Choice Hotels doit enquêter sur ce motel.

Grande location! Il y a si nombreux restaurants autour du bloc de King Street. C'est un très bon hôtel. An oldie mais goodie. Très grand atrium où vous pouvez vous asseoir et profiter du petit déjeuner inclus chaque matin. Happy VIP hour était parfait. Nous resterions là encore.
