This is the second time staying at this small hotel and we recently spent four nights. The hotel is under new ownership since our last visit,but all of the wonderful staff are the same and Billy even remembered us from two years ago. We like the fact that you can walk into town easily from here. The breakfast is wonderful and filling. We can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff, especially Lovemore and Billy, as well as the new owners, Steve and Shan. Steve can show you an app to use to figure out the load shedding times which are common in South Africa. We appreciate that the rooms have a coffee maker and a small refrigerator as well as very comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. We plan to stay here again when we make the long trek back to SA from California.

I have stayed here many times before and it has always been a very pleasant experience. Very central and walks-distance to just about everything. Sadly this time, the unit that we usually stay in was unavailable, so booked another similar one. Throughout the night, an alarm was going off continuously inside the unit, only to eventually figure out early hours of the morning that it was the fridge/freezer alarm. Informed Wellington that we had little to no sleep on check-out. His words: ”it does happen during load-shedding and he doesn't know why”. One could see that this was not the first time and nothing was done about it. Secondly, there was no load-shedding throughout the country over that weekend and hasn't been since. We only had one night that we could break-away from work to appreciate the quieter village life and it was so unpleasant. It could have been avoided if dealt with when detected the first time. Very disappointing.

Le propriétaire Tim est très enthousiaste et fournit beaucoup d'informations sur les voyages et les repas en ville; il me prête gratuitement une bicyclette et se déplace dans un bar ordinaire proche. Le Leeu Estates, le jardin des riches indiens, aime l'art, il faut voir. Les produits de lit sont très confortables et il y a des petits points de bains auto-réparés. Le lendemain, à 6 heures, j'ai préparé le petit déjeuner de la bande.

Top hotel in Franschoek ideally located close to the Main Street. We were overnighting in the town and were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel. Quaint, modern and quite private as there are not too many rooms. Rooms are spacious, neat, clean and recently refurbished. Ideally annexed to the Hussar grill that offers top quality cuisine. Nous avons séjourné à Corner House pendant 2 nuits en tournant les vignobles locaux et ne pouvons que dire de bonnes choses à propos de cela. Les chambres sont très confortables et de bonne taille, avec un excellent petit déjeuner, avec beaucoup de fruits frais et de délicieux pâturages et d'œufs a-la-carte, etc, sur la veranda. Les restaurants sont une petite promenade, Centre de la ville disponible en quelques minutes à pied.
